The crazy thing is that it genuinely isn’t a given; dyes aren’t all 100% veg-based, so non-vegan cotton yarn is not uncommon. There are so many unexpected non-vegan things, like most wine, lots of printed stuff, etc. :S

“Hi! Welcome to the cooking portion of this already weird video.” Toni, this is, by far, one of (if not THE) most favorite video by you that I’ve watched. First of, it’s super real. You include your husband, your dog and cat, you tagged Robin, you cook and give a demo, and you cracked me up with the wine comment about not being responsible for what happens after you start drinking for the evening. I can officially say I got a little bit of all my favorite video content right here: crochet, yarn review, dogs/pets, cooking, and life in general. LOVED IT (and would welcome more of this). You do you, boo!

I so appreciate your comments regarding your first question. Especially the part about doing the work. We’ve become a society of people who just simply want to be spoonfed answers instead of looking for them on their own. Your content is amazing. All the free information that you have out there on your blog and on your RUclips videos is so helpful. I’ve only been crocheting for half an hot minute and I have learned so much from you. And I totally get that you have to make an income. I either buy the PDFs, or I leave of the blog open and watch the ads. Thank you so much for what you do!

I’m in love with everything about this video. it’s like someone started recording me at 1am on a Saturday night but with cuter head scarves and better crochet skills. That is a steep price for so little yardage but not surprising when GOTS certified and organic. My organic cottons feel so soft and nice but are also hand wash or dry clean only too. Also not a fan of that. But worth it to keep that soft texture on a lace sweater. Can’t wait for next video! ❤❤

Your live reactions to the yarn label were so funny. “Well I would hope so, it’s cotton” It's like touting that a carrot is vegan. Really enjoyed the whole vibes of the video, the wine, the baking, the making. The cameos from your animal and human companions.
The way you set up your "free on the blog but pay for the PDF" is so CLEAR, the words are right there. Like...hello? If you don't want to pay then read it off the blog. And so far as I understand it it costs you money for those downloads, free PDF's aren't cost free for the person hosting them for you to download. A good way to think of it is that paying for a PDF now and again is sort of like a donation. You don't _need_ the PDF, but buy a pattern to support you. It's not a hard concept.

    Your cake looked yummy.
I also love your honesty, out of MANY different crochet videos I’ve watched you & one other person has actually said what they don’t like about a yarn that was given to them to try.
Most just ooh & ahh over every yarn & don’t tell any of the negative things about it like the price or the feel of the yarn compared to other similar yarns that are cheaper.
Thank you for offering some free tutorials, I know a girl has to eat & I understand needing to sell your patterns but truly appreciate what you offer for free to those of us who are on a very tight budget.

I think you are a great teacher. I have been crocheting for over 50 years, but there is so much out there to still learn. Tunisian crochet was one of them. Your videos are so easy to follow and have helped me a lot in branching out in that particular area of crochet. Keep up the great work, I am a big fan. I have 3 cats and 1 dog who all get along now, but it was not always the case. All I can say is don't give up on your fur babies, they will come to at least tolerate each other, which may even lead to great affection.

You are one of 4 people I watch that seem real and are honest. I have watched some other people in the crochet community but I've been noticing they seem a bit more sketchy when they do things. Like last night a live of one of them, it was stated that a celebration live they will have will have a giveaway but only people who send them money as super thanks/chats will be entered. Something I don't fully like. I prefer people who are honest, true to who they are and what they love. I have learned alot from you and your reviews and will continue watching you.

I love my Tunisian sampler so much! I learned so much and I’m proud to pull it out each Christmas. My husband was deployed when I made and the smaller squares were so satisfying to feel accomplished during a stressful time.

Hi there...this was definitely fun to listen to as I finished up the laundry ( so I could get back to my crocheting!)
I like your ethics. And you have taught me alot...even though I have been crocheting for more years than u care to admit!😅 I so appreciate your videos that don't rehash basics. I understand when you have to revisit a basic technique or two...but sometimes it's just the advanced skill or tip that I'm looking for...
So...thank you ! You are my tsunisian guru!

I love your content and you. What a beautiful human being you are; Thank you for sharing yourself and your awesome designs with us - not the least of which is your amazing ability to teach and clarify!! I’m chiming in here to say - those moments when you felt a bit ‘exposed’ -sharing some of what irritates you - I SO appreciate you being willing to ‘expose yourself’ in this way. As a new maker and consumer of content in this way it’s so great for me to learn about how to be better - not only as a maker, but as a person engaging with content creators!! Granted, I try to never ask the easily google-able questions - but I have learned so much about how it is to be a maker fulltime, and I can be better at honouring that work!! Thanks for all the ways you make the world better!!❤❤❤
