      AmsOil doesn't need much help selling their products. I mean, they're tier 4 base oil. They're an actual real 100% synthetic oil. That's more then I can say for Mobil 1, Royal Purple, and the rest of those fake synthetic oils. Tier 3 refined oil is all they are. They're not even real syntheitc oils.

    Why bypass when you can make a parallel oil flow path, so that you don't lose 5% of bearing oil? Also, a parallel path actually reduces the flow resistance of the full-flow (single) oil filter system. In other words, the return path of the fine-filter should connect to the outlet of the normal spin-on oil filter that came with the car or truck.

    • @peterssynthetics-independe6786
      @peterssynthetics-independe6786  Год назад

      Thank you for being part of the channel! You actually do not lose really anything. The design for the oil pump and pressures takes this into account. There is plenty of extra pressure and flow for the bypass valve. Amsoil has been making bypass filtration since the 60’s. I believe they have it in hand. Call Amsoil and ask for their technical team and you will speak with a Tribologist.

      @@peterssynthetics-independe6786 Only with a variable displacement oil pump that uses oil pressure feedback to adjust pressure. Some engines have that, I don't think the majority of engines have that. They usually have fixed volume displacement pumps.

    • @peterssynthetics-independe6786
      @peterssynthetics-independe6786  Год назад

      @@softwaresignals I would agree. However, you are not losing any oil pressure/lubrication to the engine components. The bypass does not hinder the flow, or flow rates in anyway. Some engine manufacturers expect a third party bypass system and they design in ports on the engine crankcases etc etc for this express purpose.

    Don’t forget about ash buildup in the dpf which causes restriction after 50% capacity then you’ll notice fuel mileage decreasing because of more frequent regenerations therefore shortening filter life and……. The next byproduct is fuel contamination in the oil because of more frequent regenerations because filter (dpf) capacity and volumetric exhaust flow rate has decreased that is measured by the differential pressure sensor.

    It's the only oil I would pay a premium price for.

If the truth of that data tells you that 5000 mile intervals is what you should do, change it then. If the truth of the data is 25000 miles, change it then and save tons. Full synthetic, you are being duped. It is not 100% Synthetic like Amsoil. Look into research and learn your equipment before you just ‘do what you are told’ and then tell everyone else and in the face of 50 years of research that tells you the old 5k miles or 3k miles, routine out the window. It is 100% worth the money if it reduces wear metals. The big oil companies just cant beat Amsoil, and they know it. If they offered 100% Synthetic, they would be higher than our oil. I am going to switch over to Amsoil synthetic motor oil at my next oil change for my 2015 F350 V8 6.7L truck. Planning to buy the dual filter system as well, probably after the first cycle of new oil is ready to be changed. I have about 120,000 miles on the truck. I have heard that the Amsoil synthetic oil is good about cleaning out the "debris" from the oil system really well. Based on that I am thinking that as soon as I go to Amsoil motor oil, I should more frequently change out the standard oil filter during that first cycle of new oil use. Do you know if Amsoil has said anything along those lines for folks making the oil switch with so many miles on their vehicles?

      @@wadetharp348 Please use my code at check out for your oil 30331652, my name is Brian Peters Jr, without that code I will not get credit and someone else will become your dealer, as we are all Independent Dealers. While it is ‘good’ any time you change out your filter, Amsoil filters have better filtration capabilities and more debris ‘storage’ in the synthetic medium. This usually isn’t necessary but also is not a bad idea. Using Amsoils Engine Flush product, ensures a good cleaning of the oil system, clears out any deposits and debris in the system, allow it to melt and break down into very small particles, thereby making them manageable for the filter to pick it up. Some folks also drop their oil pans and clean rhe sludge from the bottom of it. I suggest Signature Series motor oil. It is our best line of defense in the fight against wear, with 6x the wear protection then our competitors. The bypass filter system is excellent is cleaning out your system. Gas, diesel, car or truck. The bypass filter cleans particulates down to 2 microns at 98.7 efficiency and only taking 3-5% of the oil flow from the pump. This does NOT strain the system in anyway since the inherent design of the oil pump system allows for this and in many engines, has this in mind. Some engines are even designed with ‘port-holes’ into the crankcase etc. Keeing your engine clean from soot, blow-by, dirt and debris is key for the longest lasting engines, the ones that make it i to the 1-3 million mile range. Yes, I said million. Clean out a competition brand oil after 300,000 miles, and clean out the same motor with Amsoil at 1 million miles. Our engine will be virtually clear of varnish and debris, while we already know what to expect out of the other. Pursuant to a 1990’s law suit between Castrol and Mobil 1, courts ruled that group 3 and 4 base oils are synthetic, therefore any oil that contains one or both of those groups, regardless of proportions, can be called synthetic. So as long as Amsoil contains group 3, even if it’s 100% group 3, they can legally call it 100% synthetic. Thus, 100% synthetic and full synthetic are synonymous. Amsoil admitted this in one of their own blogs.

      The oil could use 90% Group IV and 10% Group III base oil; or, it could use 90% Group III and 10% Group IV base oils. As long as it only uses Groups III, IV or V base oils, it’s a synthetic oil.
      That being the case, the terms “100% synthetic” and “full synthetic” describe the same thing. They’re synonymous, and an oil marketer can use whichever it prefers provided the oil in the bottle meets the industry description of “synthetic” outlined above.”

      Your engine's THERMOSTAT regulates your engine's temperature -- it is NOT controlled by the ambient air temps. AMSOIL is not temperature-sensitive like conventional oils -- you will be perfectly safe with AMSOIL 5-W-20, as it actually helps to COOL the engine better than any thicker-viscosity oils could do.
      Those of us that live and drive in the desert climates must be careful to avoid the popular MYTHS, such as "Thicker oil lubricates better." It' doesn't.
