The dems or the radical dems anyway don’t want anything running on diesel. It’s part of their larger plan to depopulate the earth by causing people to freeze or starve to death etc. Covid was part of it too.
No diesel means no truck or train freight. What else did I miss.
Sorry I have to say this but, that pump is a joke compared to the HF rotary hand crank pump. The rotary pump can empty a 55 gallon barrel in about 5 min or so with steady cranking. Add a battery powered drill or impact to it and who knows.

Those clear tube with a ball at the end works good for transfer, couple jerks and it flows fast.
I considered a siphon hose but wanted something a bit more permanent and clean. But that's a great tip.

Diesel Motor Oil is going to be unavailable soon due to additive outage. How are we going to get anything shipped anywhere if trucks cannot change their oil?
We have two 500 Gallon and one 1000 gallon tanks. Even though we top them off every 6 months, they develop growth in the bottom of the tanks because we do not circulate the fuel between the tanks. Now, once a year we have Fuelcare come in and circulate the fuel and syphon off any growth and dispose of it. I'm not sure what we are going to do with the generators as we have run them once every 2 weeks for testing. Having backup power on diesel instead of natural gas is getting expensive.
We are making a big push on our solar power to become self sufficient but still need fuel for the big stuff.
The only flaw in your logic is the perishability of fuel. I’m not sure I would trust the mixing of fuel over time. I would recommend two 55 gallons drums and then practice a first in first out scenario to keep the fuel as fresh as possible.

Just curious, looks like you have a truck could you just take the barrel into town and fill the entire thing and offload with your tractor?
Legally it would have to be a DOT approved container tansport.
