I had two seat bases put on my rear deck about 40 inches apart. I cut a piece of 2 inch channel iron to a length of 60 inches. Drilled 5 1/2 inch holes for rod holders and 2 3/4 inch holes for mounting onto seat pedestals in it. Stick the seat pedestals in the floor, set the channel iron across them and drop 2 3/4 inch implement pins through the channel to hold it in place. Take it out in about 30 seconds when it's not needed.
