- I have a small Jon boat that I use for fishing. I wanted some more rod holders that were cheap, lightweight, not permanently installed, and easy to move around to different positions on the boat. This is what I came up with.
Great idea!
Just made four of these for my 10ft Jon boat I just bought! No drilling, tight grip, a few bucks for each, ez on and off. Thank you!
10' user here also.
Not many of us. lol
This looks to be the ticket... will be testing on a Gheenoe (15 4) later this evening as I found a few of these in the shed. The milk crate rod holder in the middle of the boat, especially a small boat just gets in the way too much and though mine is definitely a beater, I'm determined to not drill another hole in it so a big thank you for the simple but great tip.
Just about to use a small boat, and the rod holder you made are just the job thanks ,from Kim in UK
I was thinking the same. I'm finally getting my first canoe and finally getting back into fishing...haven't went out since 2013
This excellent...looking for something for my canoes...and this will allow me to put then anywhere and use on either canoe....just need something to hold the rods while padding....thanks for sharing
any videos of them on boat
Nice job mate
So sick!
Awesome idea. I just made 4 of them
instead of zip ties hose clamps might work better
Fax
This is what I needed. Ty i tried to show you what i did but it won't let me put a pic
up.
Quick question for you bud. So a regular jon boat's transom thickness is 2". These clamps say 2". How did you get it open more than 2" to clamp?
Nice! How has it lasted?
probably wont work for sit in kayak . but with some thought and this idea I may be able to modify something
What I did get out of this video , is to spray paint inside a box .. that's a nice idea there
Para que sirve
Para colocar tu caña de pescar sin tener que agujerar tu nave. Porta-caña de pesca. Espero te ayude
Dude, surely you know you could use screws on that.... surely you can figure out a solution to that puzzle? If not, you drill straight through the pipe and you screw in the screw so the head is on the inside of he pipe using a drill extension and use a wing nut on the outside. Come on!
You had a fish snatch it out the holder yet? Lol
