I don’t have a pontoon boat I don’t even know anyone that has a pontoon boat, but I won’t miss even one of your videos because the content is AWESOMENESS
Supepuper awesome video you should try to make some rod holders out of thick pvc tubing i made my own all the way here in South Africa and they work supper grate and they can't rust and also they are supper strong
Keith, please consider doing a DIY video on a pole mounted and/or a “send down the line on a rope” lure knocker/retrievers. I bet you come up with something borderline ingenious! Thank you sir for consideration.
Your Awesome Brother. Man that was a great IDEA. Now I need a portable transducer bracket for the front of my boat. I'll call you this weekend and give you some more details
Lil tip with the flapper discs, don't use them on sharp edges. It tears them up quick,a hard wheel is much better and won't catch and send the piece flying...not as often anyhow...lol Also, the fumes from the galvanizing burning when welding is highly toxic.
Thanks for the great idea. I don’t have a boat, but have been trying to figure out a rod holder for the handrails at the marina where I fish. This is an excellent idea.
That's Just purty Dang Awesome right there , I like it , another Winner and if I'm right you can use that right there to catch ya self a purty Dang Awesome Catfish Dinner 😋🦈🎣 lol,,
Awesome I seen you in kris Flores and just for future suggestion could you make videos of actually of you catching the fish with all your cool inventions!
I don't always have time . Put a lot of my free time into filming and editing. That's why I involve other RUclipsrs James is going to make a video review. I don't even have a pontoon boat
@@FishinNStuff ah thats to bad. Reguardless great videos and the editing definitely pays off good work one of the reasons I started I watching your channel is when I was younger I would always say like and stuff after all my sentences like can we go fishing and stuff and also pick up some lures and stuff from walmart 😂 but now my family just laughs about it. I meant to put in kris Flores stream guess my brain was somewhere else lol good night and have a great rest of your day 👌
Great idea and products. I've got a small fishing boat ( 1990 16m Sea Nymph ) and would like to see a gunnel mount that wouldn't necessitate drilling. I think that would be AWSOME.
I do I just don't film it much , the last time I did film it was this video ruclips.net/video/P_K3IGLYAQE/видео.html But in all fairness my channel is a DIY channel so I stay in my lane lol
Just got yelled at by my wife when she heard your voice. Exact words, "You like how your boat works, why are you ******* trying to do something different?"
Soak your galvanized electrical tubing in vinegar for a few days. After that wire brush it good and you won't get the zinc poisoning from welding on EMT.
AW-ZUM az alwayz... make it out of 1-1/2 by 2 tube and cut it out like you did and weld another nut on the tab and bolt through to make it clamp on for little added extra security running down the lake.. either way, its gonna a bigger fish than the rail will..
I got a 14ft alumi-weld jon boat and I need to put rod holders on it for crappie and catfish we need a DIY for rod holders on a little jon boat please..
I weld for a Hobie, I do weld at work also . Shielding gas makes welding so much easier . A tanks not that expensive and lasts a very long time when done for hobie work
Do you have any ideas how to take this idea and adjust it for jettys, in australia we have 2 types of rails that run down jettys, round 2inch steel pipe and 4×4inch timber that is setting in a diamond shape so its harder for birds to sit on and probably helps wash their waste away in the rain too with it being pointed instead of flat. Do you think you would be able to d.i.y something?
I think on the round hand rails it might turn around the post but a bigger version might work on the 4x4inch timber as long as the bolt doesn't just rip through the edge of the timber. In my head I would a tension bolt on the bottom so it could clamp to the rail
On the round posts I think it would just spin and rotate around the rail, the timber rails it could work in a larger version but the bolt at the front might pull through the timber and slip off. I think if you put a tensioning bolt at the bottom to act as a clamp then it might do the trick.
@@FishinNStuff i have a fiberglass john boat with an aluminum 1/8" u frame rail all the way around. Thoughts on strengthening that so the rod holder will not snap the rail off the fiberglass?

No sweat, dude.
All long as it holds up good, that's all that really matters.

I love how you think the drill is what most people lack in their welding shop.
No most people with new boats don't want to drill holes all in their brand New boats . I love the way that went right over your head

Now that right there... Is Awesome!
Got to love a tiger paw disc
Absolutely the next mod going on my pontoon boat... Simple yet effective.. Thanks for the "AWESOME" videos.
That right there is awesome!
Use a hose clamp or zip tie to hole it, yes the zip tie will melt/break but after it's tact'd,
Its really fine with nothing if your measure measurements are right
Keith you could put a screen door on a Submarine!

Well done sir

i hit the like button buddy
did the galvanizing fumes make you sick, seen a lot of warnings about it so wondering if you experienced the problem?
No . They will make you sick . But you have to weld more than just one piece. Most people get sick if they weeks it fire 8 hours . You can use a fan , in an open place and Flux core weld wire

Hey man can you build a rod holder for the rear handle of a jetski?
I thought I read "No Drill"; What's happening at the 4:39 minute mark? Just curious if defination of no drill has changed. LOL
Well typically the term refers to not drilling holes in your boat , I guess you could take it as not needing a drill lol
I have a John boat with the rounded top would that work to use one of those on the top of a John boat Or do you have any idea
I made a video about a kayak I clamped on too round set legs , that might work
great ideas thanks!!

Hey try to guinch the bar after bend it that should give you more strange

Could you solder or braze it instead?
