+Paint This is surreal!! We appreciate the hard work and content you produce, we know it's not easy, so thank you for taking the time to comment on and watch our video!! P.S. thank you for not suing
I was born deaf, and I know ASL, the place where I live, I don't see anybody like me, so seeing this is really amazing. Thanks to my hearing Implants, I can understand songs. So just know, this is really inspirin!
+guy Farting There is no cure, or way to 'fix' it. Hearing implants is surgery, to HELP. I will never know what it is like to officially hear. In simple terms, implants give me 24 tones, whilst normal ears have thousands, if not millions.
*Sydney* Oh, I really am not the right person to come to about that... I have been learning since I was a baby, because my parents are deaf. I suggest taking some classes at your local university, or look online?
oh, thanks (: I've been looking online and most of the classes are expensive and I can't afford. Plus, I live in a small town with no school, so I have to go to the next town each morning to attend school. The closest university near me would probably be in Dallas or Fort Worth, around 1 hr and 45 mins away from me
SomeGirlYouMet Community colleges usually have pretty good classes. Honestly, jumping fully in is the best way to involve yourself. "Learning ASL without Deaf people is like learning to swim without water."
We are all so GLAD that everybody seems to enjoy this video! Share it with your friends or people you think might like it too! Also, we recreated the Breakfast Club trailer in ASL so go on and check that out! Thanks so much for all of the support!
This appeared in my recommended, 'cause I listen to the song itself so much - but this is brilliant. We take so much for granted - sight, hearing, and so much else, but there are people out there, through no choice of their own, who don't have these privileges. You're really great people. Thank you for making this video.
Honestly the Asian girl was the best (only based on skill) I'm deaf and I could understand mainly what she was saying (there were parts where the others missed parts) and i don't think the sign for genitals (I'm assuming she said genitals idk what she said, it wasn't a real sign it was just pointing) was correct JUST SOME CRITIQUE ILY ❤️
What a day brightening video. This is one of the few "covers" of this song that isn't basically just re-uploading the original. Love the effort, love the thought, love the video!
My brother is deaf so this was really easy to understand with abs without the words. Also, jeez Elsa! You're a fucking murder! You killed everyone. Hope you're happy alone! :3
Sorry if this comment may sound rude (that's not what it's supposed to be) but is it easier for deaf people to truely understand songs, like rythm and stuff via ASL? Like is it possible to carry "a melody" via that language? I mean for just understanding the text and stuff wouldn't it be somehow easier to just read the lyrics? I'm really curious about that but I'm not into this ASL thing and stuff.
It's not rude at all! Although deaf people cannot hear the rythm of the song, they can feel it! I know that some deaf people will visit concerts and bring a water bottle or balloon because they can feel the vibrations through it!
Interesting! Thank's for the quick and nice response. So even making it physically watchable (like in this video) helps them "hear" or better said feel the song a little bit better? This year I watched this movie called "La Famille Bélier" with my french class. Idk if you know it, it's about a family in France who's members are all deaf except for the daughter. She then discovers her talent for singing but to start her career she has to move away from her family. In one scene her father wants to "hear" her singing and then he presses his finger on her throught to feel the vibration of her voice. Now, thanks to you, I can truely understand why and how it works. :)
OMG, this is AMAZING. your NMS is on point. the stage presence is off the charts. I love everything about this. Well done, you all should be EXTREMELY proud.
I agree, but I've taken 2 years of ASL in high school, and 4 semesters in college, and my sentence structure is still lacking. Facial expression-less kind of took me out of it though (Although at times they were great!)
+Alley Oliver I have taken 3 years of ASL in high school. And I'm finishing my second semester in college. I am having a blast with it though. Where did you go college
Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate it! :) We are still in ASL 2 in highschool so we have a lot to improve on. Plus memorizing the signs were tough and we were really focused on the signing aspect of it haha.
It was still amazing, a lot better then my ASL 2 final project (also signing a song, ironically!) and Rebecca McDougall , I go to the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Have some amazing ASL professors here!
Thank you souch! This really warmed my heart! That you put in so much effort to make something so fun available to so many people! I'm not deaf myself but I have a deep love and respect for the deaf community and really appreciative of your work here. So thanks!
Chris was the best! I hope he is in theatre. I don't have any association to ASL, but I truly do appreciate this cause its just awesome. And yes Christopher you can now brag to the others that someone commented about you. Class of 2019!!
I think that this channel is amazing. This Is Amazing. I don't know a lot of ASL (if any lol) but I think that it was so nice to make this. Keep up the good work guys!! :)
This ist just super amazing! It's just so much fun to watch :D Weird thing is, I already listened to the Song a few times, but since my native language isn't english, I was never able to fully understand the words he was using for the Tiana part. With this video, I was suddenly able to understand, and I don't even know ASL at all - It's sorcery!
I'm not Def, but I saw this on my home page and got curious since I've watched the original video. I just have to say this is the best thing ever. I have a friend who is Def and I showed it to her and she absolutely loved it. and I do too since I was able to share a song I really liked with her.
I'd like to know how anyone could possibly dislike this? Maybe they don't like the song but what these people have done is amazing. They're helping deaf people enjoy an amazing song. In my opinion this should have no dislikes.
This is absolutely fantastic!! So amazing to see people doing something like that! Wish we had sign language classes when I was in high school, that would've been awesome!
I loved this so much! I adore jon cozart and am really interested in ASL. Its just so hard to learn and memorize without going to an actual class and having to constantly use it. Great job guys!
Beautiful !!! Loved it 💕 I started watching a TV show a while ago and absolutely fell in love with ASL. It is such a great language :) And what you've done is in deed art! Congrats!
+Amber Adams you guys are great I'm in ASL in college and I have wanted to sign this. If I can give you any pointers, it would be to be more expressive and really big with your signs. Especially with the more upbeat songs

Maybe she wanted to be Mulan... I could say that it's typical that the blonde haired girl was Elsa... Maybe she wanted to be Elsa... You weren't there with them whilst filming so how do you know??
Sometimes, it takes luck to get the opportunity. I became friends with a girl who was deaf, so that's how I learned. Be patient, and you will get to learn it. :)
+carolyn roberts I love them all like my own even though I only birthed "Elsa" lol...Thank you for inspiring kids to be amazing every day your the best teacher in the world of no spoken words ever😍
OMG it has been so long since I have 'heard' sound, I was not born deaf but became it a few years ago. And this is the first time I could 'hear' something. THANK YOU
this is was amazing. it's so cool to see how on all these different platforms many people can be represented and how we can all enjoy things like this. deaf or not. keep doing what youre doing it's great ♡♡♡
I am currently learning the german sign language and now I am mad that all the sign languages are different. Like, this would be such a good and fun way to learn ASL as a hearing person wo knows this song! Why do they have to be so different? T-T But anyway, amazing video, it was really fun to watch! :D
I know ASL. I just hope you all are ASL 2 doing this video. You all are very strong signers even though the signing windows could have been better, the grammar was phenomenal. I was watching out for that. Whoever helped you with grammar I’m feeling very proud. You all did your best effort to get into the song. This was the only best interpretation I have ever seen. I love dis.
I can't believe I actually understood the signs (er, most of it). 1 year of sign language and that's the information I learn. That's amazing! I can't believe it really is that simple! (....ish)
So cool! You guys did great and did Paint proud! Way to go! So funny I just found this video. I graduated last May with an ASL interpreting degree and I have listened to the two songs countless times. I've always signed along while I was listening to them but recently I've been thinking about working on doing these songs for real as a good challenge for myself. You guys gave me inspiration to do it! Thanks!
Domolikesyoshi because, this society thinks it's weird for men to compliment other men on their looks, unless they're gay, which I think is just utter bullshit. But I see your point, I'll fix it.
Oh my word I love this! Incredible work guys. :]
That means the world to us! You are an inspiration to us all!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! We love you so much and are so happy you liked it!!!!
+Paint This is surreal!! We appreciate the hard work and content you produce, we know it's not easy, so thank you for taking the time to comment on and watch our video!! P.S. thank you for not suing
Hi Paint!!! These kids are so talented!!!! I am a proud teacher!!!! I love my job!!!!

isn't there surgery to fix that?
+guy Farting There is no cure, or way to 'fix' it. Hearing implants is surgery, to HELP. I will never know what it is like to officially hear. In simple terms, implants give me 24 tones, whilst normal ears have thousands, if not millions.

I hope they got a good grade on this. :D
can you tell me how you learned? I'm in love with the culture of the deaf, and am currently trying to become fluent
*Sydney* Oh, I really am not the right person to come to about that... I have been learning since I was a baby, because my parents are deaf. I suggest taking some classes at your local university, or look online?

Yeah for second year students it was good, the Asian girl was the best
isabella martin yeah the lyrics were "conflicts in my lower zones" which would be correct
bella martin I've got 3 deaf people in my house two 22 year olds and a 1 year old
The thug life at the end really got me! XD
Wow , the green girl is SO happy :)
Thank you very much!!
+Amber Adams :) You 4 are really good !
i love this! my friend cant hear so i have tried to communicate with her about paint and this is perfect to show her! thank you so much!
Is this literally an ASL cover for an acapella song?!? THATS SO AWESOME!!!!!!
What a day brightening video. This is one of the few "covers" of this song that isn't basically just re-uploading the original. Love the effort, love the thought, love the video!
Thank you so much!
That means so much to us! Thank you!
***** You are very welcome!
LifeWithMegan I'm glad.
The dude who played Cinderella was so into this, he completely sold his part.
Coming back to this a year later, this made me realize that this was my inspiration for learning sign in the first place.
We are so glad and honored to hear that! Thank you so much! :)
I found the last girl really cute! She has such a beautiful smile! I wasn't able to look away! And of course, great work guys! You all did well! :)
My brother is deaf so this was really easy to understand with abs without the words. Also, jeez Elsa! You're a fucking murder! You killed everyone. Hope you're happy alone! :3
Hahaha I am happy alone😂😂 glad you liked the video btw
+Megan.Burr haha, yeah. Boys are stupid. And yes, the video was very well made!!

Well done!!!!! (goodness, i just realized that i've listened to this song so many times that I get the original lyrics wrong every time. xD)
Same xD
if Elsa killed off everyone, where does she go to when she has a cold? 😂😂😂😂
You are doing very well the only thing I have to say is improve your facial expressions and revise sentence structure.
I agree, but I've taken 2 years of ASL in high school, and 4 semesters in college, and my sentence structure is still lacking. Facial expression-less kind of took me out of it though (Although at times they were great!)

WOW, this is amazing
I love how into the song the two on the sides are :D especially the guy. Great job all of you! :)
Is this for a ASL class at your school, or do you take ASL classes out of school?
+Toxic Wolf ASL class at school :)
+Cheyenne Kim that's cool. I wish my school had a ASL class
Cheyenne and Amber are so cute! Tiana and Mulan are one of my favorite Disney characters.
the chick who played Tiana seemed very enthusiastic
Thank you so much!!
+Amber Adams Is that You? If I is Good Job!

Two of my favorite things put together 😋
I've been trying to teach myself ASL for a few months now and it was so cool to recognize some words:)))
Why would they sue you? they should know that you are helping deaf or hard of hearing people. thank you for caring
We just put that as a joke😂 we know he wouldn't actually sue us
Jon (the creator of the parody) is a sweetheart. He would never 😂😂😂
+Megan.Burr of course he wouldn't! I'm here from a link he just tweeted saying how amazing this is!
Can you post the link please? I wanna see what he said :3
Penguintime14
It was a joke
I think that this channel is amazing. This Is Amazing. I don't know a lot of ASL (if any lol) but I think that it was so nice to make this. Keep up the good work guys!! :)

Dottie Neko yup ^-^

ahhh you adorable little beans! This is amazing, you all were great!
Being a child of a deaf mother this makes me extremely happy!
Omg. This is amazing. Being hearing impaired myself, this made me so happy.
Really really enjoyed this! So happy to see more people learning about ASL and deaf culture!
Please don't sue us 😂😂 This is beautiful. Deaf people can watch this and the end is hilarious. I love this.
The guy was the best and then the girl in green their facial expressions were fantastic! They others did great as well.
So proud of you guys!!! You make my job fun! ❤️
Thank you Mrs. Roberts!!!❤️
This is absolutely fantastic!! So amazing to see people doing something like that! Wish we had sign language classes when I was in high school, that would've been awesome!
This is so flipping awesome
I loved this so much! I adore jon cozart and am really interested in ASL. Its just so hard to learn and memorize without going to an actual class and having to constantly use it. Great job guys!
Paint shared this on Twitter!
This made me think how grateful I am for being able to listen to music and I can't imagine my life without it.
I freaking love Christopher oh my god 😂 his expressions are priceless
Cheyenne is so pretty ahhh
This is amazing! I'm sure Jon Cozart would be proud of this!
Beautiful !!! Loved it 💕 I started watching a TV show a while ago and absolutely fell in love with ASL. It is such a great language :) And what you've done is in deed art! Congrats!
Thank you so much!! What tv show did you start watching?
LifeWithMegan Swiched at birth :)
+Inês Aleluia i LOVE that show❤️
Seriously?? *-* I don't know anyone who likes it :D
Cam Price
This is super cool. Plus, he is such a cutie. You guys rock for doing this in ASL!
This was absolutely fabulous. I really want to learn ASL but I'm already focusing on so many other languages. >_>
I was confused at the start but when I figured it out, I actually really like this, very creative!!! Awesome job!!
Are any of you actully deaf or do you take a class?
just wondering
None of us are deaf, we are all in our second year of taking American Sign Language 😊
+Amber Adams you guys are great I'm in ASL in college and I have wanted to sign this. If I can give you any pointers, it would be to be more expressive and really big with your signs. Especially with the more upbeat songs
+Amber Adams check out my channel to see me sign the song AMERICAN PIE
+Amber Adams you guys did amazing
+Napat Chokwatthananon lots of deaf people word out the signs there making to make it easier for those who don't understand sign language very well.
I'm fluent in ASL and my mother is Deaf so I'm involved in Deaf culture a lot and I have to say this is very good! The only pointers I would give is to look into the difference between normal ASL and ASL poetry. It will help with the flow of the song and create more of a picture versus normal conversational ASL
Of course the Asian girl does the Mulan part. Gg though.
Maybe she wanted to be Mulan... I could say that it's typical that the blonde haired girl was Elsa... Maybe she wanted to be Elsa... You weren't there with them whilst filming so how do you know??
when I was looking at the comments and saw yours your profile frighted me for a second it's MatPat, right?
That is your concern. Not the fact that a guy is Cinderella.
Aliya Nadhira mine if Mark Miller's or Llama Unicorn
And Elsa's blonde. I'm so offended.
I absolutely love Christopher.
He reminds me of an old classmate of mine, so full of passion!
Great job on this!
I love the part at the end 😂😂😂
IT IS SO KIND THAT YOU MADE THIS
Thank you so much for your hard work! :*
I want to to show this to my deaf cousin so she sees what I love so much :D
This is so cool! I want to learn sign language so bad!
Sometimes, it takes luck to get the opportunity. I became friends with a girl who was deaf, so that's how I learned. Be patient, and you will get to learn it. :)
This is so inspiring! Good for you guys! That was so cool and different (in a good way, obviously). I love this so much.
I am so proud of you guys😍 Just remember who was your first number one fan👊

You guys did an amazing job! I love Paint and this video is one of the best recreations of it! Good job!
This is a really cool find. Nice job.
this is was amazing. it's so cool to see how on all these different platforms many people can be represented and how we can all enjoy things like this. deaf or not. keep doing what youre doing it's great ♡♡♡

Alexandria Forsyth we agree!
This is amazing! These kids should be super proud of themselves!
That's so unbelievably kind, thank you!!
The girl in green has amazing facial expressions!! :D - well done though, thank you xoxo

This is amazing!!! Cracking up! Can't believe an ASL version is here. Made my day!

The girl on the red background is AMAZINGLY CUTE! 😍
THIS IS REALLY COOL.

Not sure why you being gay needed mentioning but okay
Domolikesyoshi because, this society thinks it's weird for men to compliment other men on their looks, unless they're gay, which I think is just utter bullshit. But I see your point, I'll fix it.
feel so impressed that i can actually understand what they are 'saying', even with the absence of his voice
omg I loved it
