Kat Drčelić Deaf isn’t a bad word. unless you have a disability you can’t possibly know what disabled people find rude. I have a disability and am happy to answer any kind of question about it. Not asking in fear of being rude is just causing stigma around it. However, if the person responds with something like “I rather not talk about it” then you should respect it

He was hounded of line by the radical deaf community. It's sad. So many people loved this but a few vocal people hounded him off. At least per his Facebook page, that's what happened. The hatred he got over there was intense.

This man HAS THE RIGHT to be doing this to support the deaf community‼️ The way he signs and shows the emotions the song is portraying him to feel is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! This could be choreographed and made into a beautiful dance number!!!!

As a child of deaf parents i of had free reign of the car radio and as i listened to many of my songs i would try and sign them. I never came close to the wonderful job You have accomplished!!! Sad to hear/read that You have stopped doing these as there are many more songs deserving of Your talents. Rock the **** on!!

According to the discription, he based the signing of Galileo's name off of the sign for telescope. Also, I agree with you, it fits perfectly.

Good Translation! Not word for word but actually a Translation of the idea of the song for once! To many people sign word for word, makes no sense in ASL!

It's PSE they are two different things. I personally sign PSE because I am an English speaker.
I think Freddie would have been so proud of this. I am not a part of the deaf community, I just stumbled upon this, and I found it very moving!

The way he was signing gave me goosebumps and I’m not even deaf (but I am going to college to become an ASL Interpreter).

Simon Colas Cool! LSF and ASL are still that similar?
CaptainValor Oh, I know one of them, ASL or LSF, come from the other, have been invented from the other, and yes there's some signs i can easily understand like the "want" or "dont want" or "hurt", or "have to".... Lot of verbs are close from LSF.
Simon Colas I'm taking an ASL class this semester and according to a book we're reading, ASL is influenced by about 60% of french sign language so they are quite similar :)
I'm glad to know that, and had no doubt about it ! But i thought LSF was inspired by ASL not the contrary isnt it ? Anyway yeah i see a lot of signs in ASL that are quit similar or totally the same !
Simon Colas We're reading a book called "For Hearing People Only" by Matthew S Moore & Linda Levitan 3rd edition. From this book it sounds like both existed in their own respective parts of the world and the influence happened when Laurent Clerc came over to help teach in the first school for the deaf in the U.S. (at least some if not most of it. I haven't researched it closely)

Remy whistlepunk pidgin signed english, it’s kinda like a less formal version of ASL. it’s closer to the english language and is often times used by people who want to bridge the gap between english n asl, like people who grew up speaking english and lost their hearing at a later age for example. but it’s also used among culturally deaf people for instance at gallaudet

This was absolutely amazing! My deaf friend just showed it to me. You looked familiar to me, but I wasn't sure why. Then she showed your Party in the USA and it clicked. That was the one of the first ASL interpretation videos that I ever saw after I began learning Sign!

I'm taking an ASL class in my high school this year as an elective (I am hearing) and have been learning a lot about the Deaf community and culture... anyways, I've been watching a lot of videos of songs being interpreted into ASL and this is one of my favorites! The facial expressions and the way you actually got into the music added a lot. Great job!

When I was in high school, I had a bit of a thing for girl in my class who was deaf so, being incredibly stubborn and headstrong, I learned the basics of ALS so I could ask her out. At first, there was a lot of communication through spelling, writing, and general gestures, but I learned more every day and I became pretty fluent over the 5 years we dated. Ever since then, I have been convinced Sign Language is one of the most (if not the most) beautiful languages in the world. Seeing a beautiful song signed is incredible. Seeing a beautiful song signed passionately is transcendent.
