- Hi everyone! I know it's been a while since I posted... This song is such an important song to me, it's basically my life anthem. I hope this song inspires you to believe in yourself.

I loved how you interspersed your signing with pictures and clips of yourself! It made it so meaningful and such a strong statement of being proud of who you are.

My daughter Erin, who has down syndrome, is using your song to sign to at a Miss AmazinG pageant. It’s a pageant for people with disabilities. She can’t get enough of your video and frankly neither can I. She used to want to sign songs all the time. Then this last summer she had a quick onset that appears to be schizophrenia. She went from being very independent to losing a lot of skills overnight. This is the first song she’s wanted to sign since this happened. I’m so grateful we found it. It has sparked something familiar to her. Thank you.

I just started learning ASL this semester at college and today I'm supposed to be writing an essay for my ASL professor about Deaf culture and why I want to learn ASL, but I didn't seem so inspired because of how I kinda forgot why I started learning in the first place. This video alone reminded me why I'm learning this language because it's beautiful and people like you make it so inspirational for more people like me to learn it. Thank you.

I’m not really sure how I can explain this. But whenever I see a song of someone interpreting it into asl I find it to be so beautiful. It makes me more emotional and I find everything to be so much prettier. (I’m not deaf btw but know little asl) and seeing people signing these already powerful song just makes the song so much more powerful to me and I love them so much. Thank you for the videos you’ve made and I hope you make more.

My heart! You've inspired me to spend the years ahead of me to learn sign language. My ex was deaf from birth and I showed her your videos and it made her so happy. I want to do that for as many people as I can. I'm a dancer and I really want to incorporate ASL into that, so for the deaf and HOH community, I can bring music, expression and language into a single medium for all the enjoy.

I recently had to grump at some classmates who thought Deaf people couldn't play sports.
They all knew what a football huddle was but they didn't know the history.
Yes! I am currently captain of the USA Woman's Volleyball team for the Deaflympics and I'm hopefully going to be back for the next one! :)
I’m hearing but trying to learn ASL and after I graduate I hope to get more involved in the Deaf community.
I didn’t know the Deaflympics were a thing! But I am totally going to be looking out for them from now on!!

You're so amazing and such an inspiration to anyone with a disability. I'm just curious what was the cause of your deafness? Did you have a stroke as a child (I only say stroke because of the picture at 0:05 with the tube). Apologies in advance if that is prying. You're one of my favorite interpreters on youtube.
