I miss the Universal Studios old rides. Jaws, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, and King Kong was the best.

How about an evening show on and around the lake using the Ghostbusters, Jaws and Back to the future? Video and laser effects can simulate those movies. Having such a show would push the anticipation for 3 new rides featuring those movies. Make it happen!
Hopefully they bring it to Universal Studios in LA too. I live in Vegas. So, it's much easier for me to travel to LA than Orlando.

Since they keep making Ghostbusters movies it's only fitting they bring back at least a show, but a new ride would be epic! But the parade is good news.

The Ghostbusters Spooktacular Show was awesome. I never seen the original one with the tour guide, I remember the one with Lewis Tully taking people on the tour. Always tried to get my folks to take me on it there and the Nickelodeon tour.

Thanks for the info on Ghostbusters possibly coming back. My parents took me to Universal Studios Orlando back in 1992 and I was so excited to see the Ghostbusters Spooktacular being such a huge Ghostbusters fan. I've been hoping for a long time they'd bring a new Ghostbusters show back or possibly a ride to Universal. I'd also love to see a new Back to the Future ride be brought back too. Thankfully E.T. is still up and running, I love the Universal classic rides and shows.

My 1st visit was Jun/Jul 1993, when I was 9 years old. I loved the ghostbusters show/experience!
I would love to see all of the original attractions return. Kongfrontation, Jaws, Back To The Future and Earthquake. I was there in the early days of opening. I remember all of them quite well. I don't care for the King Kong ride at Islands. It doesn't even compare to the original Kongfrontation. Krystal is pretty much White Castle. I'm wondering if someone with White Castle left and started Krystal down here in the south.
I remember All those rides from when I was a Kid. I loved Nickelodeon studios. My Dad (r.i.p.) LOVED Hitchcock.

I remember that show like it was yesterday. Im excited about this Ghostbusters News. I was so against them taking The Ghostbusters out of the Universal Theme Park. The show too was before its time. Well at least in the early 90’s when i got to witness it first hand myself.

That’s crazy how they have : SpongeBob store at universal studios Orlando / But they Don’t have Nickelodeon Studios anymore since 2005.

Hey, so great to hear that you’re a longtime Ghostbusters Spooktacular fan! I was the writer / director of the 1992 version of the show (with Louis Tully). It was always one of my favorites and it’s lovely to hear that folks still remember it fondly. I think I might even still have a (very hard to read) window credit on the building…
BFFT would be epic also. Wish they would revisit the franchise.

I love universal so much. Every weekend I would go there I miss going there. Things have changed in my life. Where I cannot afford to go there anymore except. Maybe twice a year. But I would be there every saturday. I remember right on the corner when you enter. There would be a fossil store it's gone. Cinnamon buns I love them. I'm trying to save money so I can go there.

We get lots of beads in our community parades as well. I have started to give them back to the school my son went to so they have enough for the next year. Some we have kept but mostly give them back. Are you planning or able to cone to our chasco parade this spring? Super fun. I see you like parades so maybe??...thanks for sharing!

I haven’t been since jaws, kong, back to the future and twister! My favorite rides and I miss them. I’m thinking of getting passes though since I’m a fl resident. Especially for my channel.
WHITE CASTLE ROCKS!!!! Since it was Mardi Gras, did they have any pączki's on hand? For those not in the know, they're basically Polish filled donuts and are a treat on Mardi Gras. One of our bakeries made over 250K yesterday and they were sold out before 3pm.

I was there in February man I wondered what happened to beetlejuice. I remember seeing the library but didn’t take notice of the ghostbusters building but I do have a picture by the ghostbusters flagpole probably early 90s.
Wasn't Universal Hollywood around before Orlando?? My khoury league baseball team lost in the county finals to a team from another league,and that team whoever the sponsor was just called the team Ghostbusters,they even had the real logo on the shirt.Sad we lost but at least it was against the Ghostbusters.

Last time I was at Universal Studios was before Jaws closed down for good. They should of never closed Ghost Busters

I would like to see *Ghostbusters* return Universal Orlando as well as Universal Hollywood. Where to put it; that's question, maybe in the Springfield area once the Simpson's finally leaves. I like some of the OG rides at USH, I like to see some of those make a return as well. I went to USO in 1989 and missed just *_Ghostbusters' Spooktuclar_* because it was under refurbishment.

The Simpsons is done at Universal as Disney is looking to eventually include the Simpson's Family in Hollywood studios Florida and DCA.
With that said. Ghost Busters returning if not a coaster then a rather of a current attraction somewhere.
I agree it will come. I was not a fan of the girl version of ghost buster. Bring on the origional. The giant marshmallow man is my favorite!
The ECTO-1 most likely won't be driven. It was cut in half so it will be stationary. I've been saying this since last year but Frozen Empire will get a maze this year. It's perfect for a maze. It's going to be the darkest and scariest GhostBusters film yet and they already have many sets from 2019 that they can reuse and just touch up to fit the film. Slimer, the Librarian, the firehouse, the GhostBuster suits, props, containment unit, etc. It's a no-brainer.

The news so far thats confirmed is they bought a miller meteor in 2 halves from a private seller. This year is Ghostbusters 40th anniversary so I guarantee its just going to be a tribute store and next year will be a back to the future 40th anniversary tribute store. There wont be a ride but could possibly be a group of 4 cast members walking around as they still have the packs they used at HHN
