I can’t wait to see both ministry of magic and dark universe’s Kuka arm ride. They both have the potential to be as good if not better than rise of the resistance
Usually when you go to a theme park you fill there are some ride are not worth the time, but i think epic is different and everything is gonna be worth the time
agreed. was very excited to ride it at first in california and then was extremely overwhelmed. it's a huge grower, though; after a few more rides, my family and i love it!
I definitely don't love it, as I think it's still sort of a conceptual mess (I think Toy Story Mania is much more fun as a "game") but I do appreciate what they tried to pull off there.
Not gonna lie, I still thought the Forbidden Journey held up after all this time. Of course it’s not going to be perfect, but it was an instant hit and very impressive when it opened, and I still thought it was a good, immersive ride.
I’ve never been to Universal as I’m disabled and can’t do thrill rides. However, I am super excited about this and want to go. The more atmosphere they create and the more family friendly rides the better. That dark ride, I am so intrigued!! Disney has blown it bad. Splash was my favorite ride and even though I love POTC, Small World, HM and others, for the first time ever, I want t go to Universal!
Stardust is definitely going to be the most thrilling ride, but for me, I'm most excited to just walk around and see the different "universes". From Celestial Park to the hotel to fog in the Dark universe, magic in paris, interactivity in Nintendo, and flying dragon drones in How to Train... This park is going to blow people away with the visuals!
This is a great video and I'm happy to subscribe to your channel. I'm quite happy with all the new family coasters. My daughter is still scared to ride the big-boy coasters, so I will be happy to share in these smaller coasters with her. For me personally, I think I'm looking most forward to the Stardust Racers, and everything at Super Mario Land and How to Train Your Dragon land. I suspect Epic Universe will double the expectations of analysts and get closer to 12 million in attendance it's first year of opening. There's just so much to do in Epic Universe that even a week will probably not be enough time to experience it all. Not to mention it'll be a great time to stop by Universal and Islands to get really short wait times at those parks. I think it has the potential to really strip away a lot of Disney visitors and make them switch over to Universal. Let's hope that Universal doesn't fumble the ball at the last minute!
2:15 I've been to a few of these kind of boat rides and all the ones I've been on were never pay to play, it's just a fun slow ride to get wet on hot summer days
I haven’t rode Mario kart yet, but I just really wish it wasn’t so heavily focused on AR. In a decade if not sooner, that very well may be obsolete and it worries me 😂
Maaaan, I thought they were going to have a ride that made if feel like we were riding on a dragon. But it's aight, I love love love love Httyd, and am excited that they are making anything at all.
Very excited for this park. Unfortunately though as a humongous Mario fan, I am very excited for the donkey Kong coaster, but I’m just a little worried that it might be a bit too short but maybe I’ll have my mind changed. In general, I don’t wanna have my hopes too high for anything as I’m kind of worried just in case if there’s some thing that I feel like is not as good to my expectations, I’ll be let down so I’m gonna try to go in with a normal mindset just In case but looks fun. I think the rides will be good but rides don’t make a park so we’ll see.
I really love every ride here even your last place ride the flyers I’ve ridden at the mall of America and it’s really fun, rides like the carousel and Yoshies and the boat ride look like the best of the best family rides, and the family coasters and the dueling Mack are going to be really fun. The Harry Potter ride if it’s anything on the same level of quality as forbidden journey it might be my favorite ride. And Mario kart is Mario kart it’s going to be fun
6:02 based on being a person that travels four hours via plane yearly to go to Universal Studios, I can tell you right now that Harry Potter will always be the number one attraction whenever they add something new… 1,000,000,000%. I think sleeper will be the monsters ride, I have a feeling that will be in my top three for sure, along with how to train your Dragon and Harry Potter. I think Nintendo world/Mario kart will not be something that will be phenomenal… I think there’s been too much hype around that for a long time, and I think it will be “pretty good and “but that’s about it… this park is very exciting, and it’s got tons of room to expand.
For anyone that wants to ride mario kart, cali has had theirs for about a year its a clone of Japan version. No spoilers just a hint get in line early.
If I had any critique at all, I would like to see more water rides. One slow moving ride for kids just doesn't seem thrilling enough as an adult. Plus I want to get DRENCHED!!!
*Stardust Racers 😭 They lost the copyright battle unfortunately. Starfall Racers sounded better but we'll get used to Stardust lol. It's definitely my top 3 most anticipated rides, along with MK and DK lol
Im not very excited for the flying one either. I live in minnesota and the one at the moa is already not very exciting and it's the same ride as here. Everything else seems really cool.
where did you ride forbidden journey? i rode it in LA multiples times and thought it was pretty good, it does become a bit full after a couple of rides... however this year i rode it at IOA for the first time, the screen/projector quality looked very washed out, not enough colors and it really looked like an old ride, i thought it was really lame, not sure if there are other differences, but the image quality is a lot worse, it was build several years earlier so i guess they need to do some updates
It’s really bad. Plus the voiceovers are off sync from the pre show all the way to the end of the ride. Plus I find some of the practical elements goofy. I’ve only been on the one at IOA
Hey uh, im confused on how you think dragon racers rally is worse than constelation carousel. Csn you please tell me your thought process? (Btw im not trying to be passive agressive, just trying to be funny, but im actually wondering)
@fnafboi9158 as I mentioned in another comment, i think constellation carousel may surprise people. This is much more than a normal carousel. Figures will dance with each other, spinning 360 degrees around each other and raising and lowering as much as 6 feet!
Whoops my bad, I think I missed it because I was listening while commuting to work and not paying full attention. Just looked back and saw it at 10! Great video overall, my personal 1 and 2 are monsters unchained and donkey kong barrel blast, they both sound super novel! I hope the effects are cool and the ride systems don’t have as many troubles as new systems tend to have
@Brogancoasters I think you undersold it though... this is much more than a normal carousel. Figures will dance with each other, spinning 360 degrees around each other and raising and lowering as much as 6 feet!

The yoshi ride is so crap haha. Did it in japan. It feels way short and pointless. Didnt love the mario kart ride either. Didnt really understand it. Found it ok but underwhelming. Untrainable is incredible! So excited for this. The puppets/animatronics are unreal.
I think the Yoshi ride is meant to be a “people mover” type of ride meaning that the point is to sit down for a few minutes and get some good views of the land around you. It’s also for children. Doesn’t feel pointless to me
Wait, I thought rumor was we would be getting two new Harry Potter rides? If there's only one new HP ride, I'll be pretty disappointed, Universal always goes all out for HP rides.
Mario Cart IMO is pretty poor of a ride.Rode that in Japan with no desire to ride it again. Forbidden Journey is indeed starting to show its age but its still fun. Mario Kart is new and the AR system is pretty useless. Orlando needs to upgrade it or rethink it. I am surprisingly shocked that I did the best in my car but at the same time I had warning with how all over the place it is as far as the mechanic as

This video is so much fun!! Super excited for everything coming to Epic, even the smaller attractions.

Such a missed opportunity to bring back dueling dragons for httyd.

Islands of adventure has 18
Hopefully more will come, but this park already has more rides than Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios at Disney.
I really hope they do a Creature from the Black Lagoon ride that's similar to the old Jaws ride. It would be a nice way to pay tribute to Jaws.
