Bell's palsy is a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face. In most cases, the weakness is temporary and significantly improves over weeks. The weakness makes half of the face appear to droop. Smiles are one-sided, and the eye on the affected side resists closing.

Thanks a lot for sharing the information 👍🏻. Adding some more info as per my own experience with it. I got Bell’s palsy 3 weeks back, I straight away went to doctor on the 2nd morning after noticing drooling and eye not closing. Had steroids course for 10 days including tapered doses. On physiotherapy from the first day and suggested to be on it for at least 25 days which includes electric muscle simulator after 10 days of initial therapy and exercises. Highly suggested to consult doctor even not a sec delay. This problem is caused majorly due to herpes infection and herpes settles down in our nervous system which gets activated primarily because of some stress. So please take this seriously and continue the exercises. Expect recovery to come after 1.5 -2 months in normal cases.

Di, mujhe samjh nae aarha is this Bell's palsy or not because i don't feel any facial paralysis, but i have seen in pictures, one side of face is droopy, I don't know what to do.
