Is the visor offer great visibiity at night? do you recommend use it at night? thinking to try light smoke for day & night without thinking to swap everytime since this model didnt has builtin sunvisor
First of all, due to safety reason, I cannot recommend using dark visor for night time riding. That being said, sometimes it is not convenient for us to be carrying around extra visor to swap out when daylight changes. For myself, I am able to accept the visibility riding around at night with this dark smoke visor, I don't find it to be too dark, and as long as there is street light, it's still OK for me. Light smoke is OK for night, but sometimes in the day the brightness can be really strong and a light smoke may not be enough. If you are really concerned, the best alternative is to get one with built-in sun visor..
I already use this helmet for almost half a year. At 1st I couldn't handle it's weight (1.5kg)-L size, but then I slowly used to it and it was a great helmet for beginner 👍if u got an extra money just go for another one like the c70, or RPHAs lineup
@@thesighbored thanks for the review too! Hope you could make another review of beginner helmet or another safety equipment for bike. I really hope you could make a review of kyt nfr helmet.
I have not road tested the C10, but the C10 is the replacement model of the CS-15, so you might want to get the C10 as it's the new line-up that replaces the CS-15. Or you can look for cheap/on sale/stock clearance CS-15, from what I tested with my CS-15 it's a pretty good one as in the review.
@@thesighbored yeah i got myself earplugs coz kenot tahan oredi. Coming from LS2 modular, I’m kinda surprised how bad the sound insulation from KYT. Heck, even my open face ARC ritz is a lot quieter 🤣
HJC are good helmets if you're on a budget but I don't think I'm an 'HJC Head' though. I've worn one of their older CL line helmets and after an hour my head hurts like hell, feels like I will die if I don't pull over and take off the helmet. I don't know if you guys have Scorpion helmets over there but to me they are a better buy for the money. Scorpion helmets are pretty low-priced and the quality is superb, you should give them a try, I think you will prefer them over HJC.
There are Scorpion helmet here.. But I'm not too sure about their pricing, need to check more. As for the head shape, I have the same issue for AGV, so I have to up size if I want to wear AGV. Oh well..
I bought recently a rpha 70. The visor is loose and falls all the time at low speed..... Like you do at 1:57 and then. Mine falls all the time. what a crap helmet I get (rpha 70)...waste of money....I regret for choosing rpha 70 instead of shoei gt air 2........ Have you same experiance with your helmet? Thanks.
If the visor is too loose maybe there is a defect, try bring it to your HJC dealer.. The visor is not meant to stay open (unless on maximum open position) at higher speed because the visor is meant to be down position if going at speeds..
@@thesighbored There is defect for sure! I didnt came across something like this with shoei before. Shoei stay open at all possitions until 80km/h. This helmet (rpha 70) cannot stay in any possition at 20-30-40-50 km/h.It will fall sooner or later. I agree that in high speeds you have to close it. But there is a big problem in my case. I believe there are not doing so much quality controls at company and the items arrive faulty...... Also many user have same issue with rpha 70.It is not well-build in visor-visor mechanism. Visor is thinner than a shoei's one. I have contacted HJC and told me that the are aware of this problem(fall of the visor)..... Anyway I spent 380 buck for hjc and for another 100 bucks I didnt buy shoei gt air 2 and avoid all these stuff......Next time Shoei.....
Your height is similar to mine.. Either one of those bikes is a good choice, personally I would go with R6 because it looks much more aggressive and sharp lines.
The noise level is OK not too noisy, as for installing speakers I'm not sure how big are those since I do not use them, there is some space around the ear pod area but I can't say for sure if that is enough.
Im between this HJC CS-R3 and a Bell Qualifier, but i heard that The hjc is Hot for equatorial weather and The Bell has better ventilation but is noisy af, give me your toughts
I have not tried to Bell Qualifier to make a comparison between the two. The weather we have here in Malaysia is hot and humid, I didn't find it too hot using the CS-15.

Hi bro! Is there any shops around kl selling helmet accessories like shield lock(clips)? Because I lost one of my shield lock..(LS2) and it is very hard to find these kind of accessories.. Hope to get a positive reply from you.
I am not certain for LS2, you need to find who is the dealer for that brand and check with them if they have the accessories, but I would say you probably can't get them. Some of these shops just focus on selling the helmets and not the accessories or replacement parts. Helmets like HJC have a strong distributor support in Malaysia, and apart from having a warranty, you can always source parts with them.
You can find it at NKS motorcycle shop in Sentul, or drop HJC helmet Malaysia a message on Facebook - en-gb.facebook.com/HJC-Helmet-Malaysia-249864638393234/

I don't think the CS-15 visor can fit to your motocross helmet, but for the visor it is about MYR120-150, you can check with NKS in Sentul, KL. Or you can message to HJC Helmets Malaysia for price quote.
