I adore LOVE magazine and have four or five which I constantly go to. I started glue books about three yrs ago and it is such a relaxing and creative pastime. It’s a craft I can do at my foldable table, in front of the fire and all you need are magazines, glue and scissors! Thank you for sharing your ideas, it will be awesome to see this craft reborn 😀

I've just found your channel. I have a stack of images and want to make a glue book as I've just heard of them. I normally just collage and wanted a change. This video is very informative. Thank you. I have some magazines I bought from a charity shop before lockdown in March. I needed a winter project. Thank you.

I have been watching this video few times. I am usually do an art journals and never think of a gluebook. I am very organized and focused person but sometimes creating something might be quiet flustrating. I always put a goal of What I wanna do with my art and I am starting to think that having a gluebook would help me to be less focused and more relaxed. Thanks to your video the gluebooking might be the thing to make me more calm, relaxed and chill. Thank you
I like glue books just a great way of keeping some fave pics and adding them in an artistic format and quite freeing too :) xx

Just found you here and love the idea of the old sticky photo albums as fussy cut images and hint I have gotten rid of the plastic protector sheets and yes the images stay on. I made envelopes out of them lol use it up right! Thank you for sharing and cheers to 2021!

Hi Carol,I just found your channel..I've been wanting to start doing glue books for awhile now but just been reluctant to give them a try..Thank you for such great tips and ideas..I absolutely looove your accent..What part of England are you from? My maiden name is Burton and my ancestors started Burton England so my dream vacation is definitely England since English is in my blood..The English accent is my favorite,its just so soothing to me lol

Ask at any office that has in waiting rooms. Worst they say is no. Right? Doctor, dentist, medical offices, lawyer, physical therapist, chiropractor & etc just ask. I have brought home bags from one office!
I don’t understand the purpose of gluebooks.
not everything needs a purpose - sometimes just creating a piece of art, whether with paper or paint, fulfils the purpose of being able to create something that gave you pleasure. They are also good for finding your style and colour preferences and allows you to explore with different mediums. But if its not for you then thats ok too :) xx
Carol Tinson Thank you for answering.Unfortunately, I bounce back and forth between artistic and uptight.😏And the uptight part of me kicks in when I see gluebooks - Why mess with them, if they are not useful?😆I WISH I could shake that part away!!🤷🏼♀️ i do understand the need to create and how this could fill that need for someone. Apparently, just not me.🙁
