The books are wonderful. This is completely new to me. All you shared and the books that you flipped through makes me very curious. Now I want to begin my first book. I have so many gorgeous books and magazines just waiting to be used. I’ve been holding onto them for some time🤗🤗🤗and just knew the right project would present itself one day………..now that day has arrived…….I’m going to have so much fun. The suggestion of using the stacking bins is what I believe I will consider. Not only for space but to keep the supplies nice and flat till needed. Now……..I’m going to research more…….watch your tutorials and prepare to plan/ begin my first book!

I really love the variety and beauty of all your glue books. Thank you for sharing. I am new to this type of craft and you have really given me a lot of inspiration. I've been collecting a lot of pretty images i like and trying to do a junk journal, but not managing to get anything done with any of it and I'm now thinking glue book might be easier and more productive for me. So far all I have managed to do is create a bunch of blank homemade books. This idea gives me something to do with all those books I've made.
Love your glue books. I started one with pieces of images. I tear the image in 2 and glue one piece on the left and right page. And I fill the pages with different images until it's done. Very relaxing and fun. Shannon also got me into it with a journal for no reason. Can't wait for Jan. 2021. TFS. Take care.
Just watched your update video and hope you'll forgive me for commenting, but as a cat lover, I admire you so very much for making your 18yo kitty your priority. I completely understand and support that decision. We can be judged by the way we treat the least of creatures. I hope and pray you find peace and comfort in giving the same to your beloved cat. Your priorities are firmly in order and you're in my prayers. ~ Lisa
PS - One of my kitties found a heating pad set to low and laid underneath her bedding helpful. Perhaps it could help your kitty, too.
Thanks! I tried the heating pad in various ways a few months ago and he wants nothing to do with it, yeah I was disappointed it didn't work.
@@Kagedfish Oh, that is a disappointment. If you're open to medication, it can give tremendous relief to them. Metacam used off label has prevented a lot of suffering for several of ours. Wish I could help more. ~ Lisa

My next door neighbor passed away and we found out that she was a hoarder. They came and went through her house. There is a huge trash bin Stuffed full of old magazines!! Clear to the brim! I go over there once in awhile and grab a handful to cut up for my books.

So many inspiring ideas, Karla. Nifty and very easy way to store your images in the baskets. The stamp glue book is very interesting. I collected stamps as a kid ... still have them somewhere.

I've just started glue booking so it was great to see all of your different book styles and themes. And thank you for your advice for not picking favorites. I was getting caught up with making something that looked perfect - and that takes all of the fun out of it!

Hi! I tried the basket thing and it didn't work for me. I kept dumping them Grrrr! So I went to boxes a bit smaller then you use that have secure lids. I found clear ones that help me but I still label them for easy picking. But I do love the zipper pouches for keeping projects together -- freezer Ziploc bags work but I like something that's sturdier and not so slippery so I can stand them on end in a magazine holder. My art table still becomes a mound when I'm working on something, of course. But I have a system for putting all of it away that's fast and easy. Thank you so much for helping me down my path of 'sticking stuff down'!

I don’t know if you have Dollar Tree store in your town but if you do that is the greatest place to get baskets, some are 2 for a $ 1.00,
That is where I get all my baskets
I’ve not finished watching yet but I love your idea of a Glue Book. Mine is a little different but after I finish this one (2nd) one. I believe I’ll try one your way. Mine is like a collection of things. Like one page might be watches or birds or perfume bottles.
Like my Scavenger Hunt book or Shannon Greens En Masse Journal? That is also a great way to enjoy glue books. So glad you want to try different types!
Kagedfish I watch all of Shannon’s videos. I love her Journal for no reason. I also love your scavenger hunt journal. I think I will watch your video again. You had some awesome pictures in that book. Sometimes I work on on 2or3 books at the same time. Right now it’s 3 but one is almost finished. About 3 pages to go I think.

Hey Karla, the 2 Elmer's glues you showed - where did you get them? I made mistake and bought glue sticks from Dollar Tree (this was before you had said they don't work well). Since I've not opened them I can take back to store and exchange for something I can use. Only problem is I've not been able to go anywhere out of my small town to do any shopping. This town has Dollar General, Family Dollar, grocery store, hardware store, gas stations - the basics. Take care and God bless you. Becky B
I got the ones I showed at an office supply store, one Staples and one Office Depot. You can find them at places like Walmart, try anything that says Extra Strength or Permanent. I stay away from "washable" glues because they don't work for me in Florida but you can try anything you find, it might work for you!

I didn't mean to offend! Through the years I have gotten SO many comments from people saying they could never do a Glue Book as nice as mine, so I didn't want to show pages that might discourage someone from trying. I understand where you were going with the question, yes it is fun to see what books and pages each person has done that they like for inspiration. sorry I didn't prepare better for the video, I had to sneak in time for this, I would have answered those questions differently with more thought. Thanks for creating the tag and questions! It is always nice when people are inspired enough to inspire others and this is a fabulous way to encourage others to try Gluebooking!

Uhu is too expensive for me since I use a lot of glue. There are many other great options
I am one of your biggest groupies 😂 everything you do is soooo inspiring, and my second favorite is Shannon Green so I can hardly wait for hers. I’ve been clipping and storing images since I was a kid. In high school any time we had to do a project I made a collage I. e. Book reports, world affairs etc. someday I hope to own one of your works of art I’m just not very lucky at draw type things. Do you ever sell any? Do you have a video on how to thin paper out. For instance if you save an image from a cereal box, it's very thick, and I'd like to get a lot of the thickness down...
