I cannot tell you how much I admire you. Your bravery, your attitude, your determination, and your generosity, not to mention your creativity and teaching ability, is an inspiration to us all. I will be praying for your complete recovery and the best possible outcome. ❤❤❤❤
Carol my love will be praying for you., you’ll be recuperating soon god is with you and I will support you in prayers and watching your videos and looking forward to seeing your beautiful personality soon.
Hi Carol, your video really touched me 😢 and I wish you well on this detour in life not taken by choice. A thought: don't own the cancer. It's not yours; it was never yours. It is a trespasser in your body. The surgery and aftercare is the exit program to get rid of the illegal squatter, but don't let it take up residence in your mind. Rise above this and defeat it. Sending good thoughts to you for the duration, and wishing you a speedy recovery. ❤
I am sorry Carol! 💔 I hope you continue to be positive and do what you must to take care of your health till recovery. ‘We don’t know how strong we are until STRONG was our only choice!’ Take care and keep us posted. Meantime, sending you love and prayers.
Certainly not the news any women wants to hear. Thanks for sharing this so we know how to support you. Please keep us updated and we will be lifting you up in prayer.
Hello Carol I don’t normally comment but your video so resonated with me as I remember going through the same emotions on my journey with cancer. I had mastectomy at 35 and have been clear for many years. You are a strong lady and that strength and your humour will get you through. Sending love and prayers to you for a speedy and complete recovery ❤
Oh Miss Carol, I'm so very sorry to hear this! My thoughts are with you. Cancer is a despicable disease ... Thank you for being vulnerable with us, and letting us know why you will be away (I know I would have been worried if I hadn't seen you for a bit). Please take care of yourself, and accept any help offered. I hope you have a good support system during this difficult time. We will be here whenever you are, ready to listen to whatever you feel comfortable sharing with us 💙💙 Thank goodness for incidental CT findings! Hoping for no delayed wound healing for you due to your diabetes. As an (American) nurse, I have a question for you. It's widely recommended to us in the US to get yearly mammograms starting at a certain age. Is that not something that's encouraged in the UK? I'm embarrassed to say I'm quite ignorant of across the pond health care, but find it fascinating, nonetheless. Thank you again 💕
Carol, it is commendable that you understand your cancer diagnosis, your treatment and recovery options. So many women don't ask question nor do their own research. I was determined to find out all the information about my ductal carcinoma. I felt nothing and had no idea of what I had. I asked, read, discussed all I could with my surgeon and oncologist. I chose radiation over chemo since I had stage 1. It's been 7 years since my surgery and treatment. New technology and science development in cancer treatment are amazing and offer more than we could think possible a few years ago . You have support from all of us and I know many of us have traveled our common yet unique journey with this disease. We will walk with you. I will look back at your lovely videos to keep your channel going! Wishing the best for you!!
First up i want to say happy belated birthday... Im so sorry to hear about your cancer its such a horrible thing to hear that you have been diagnosed with and all your other health issues on top of this. You seem to be a strong lady and i totally feel your stress and pain. You are so brave to do this video and thank you for sharing your story its good to share when you are overwhelmed and you will have alot of support from here on your channel and please keep sharing this journey with us as we will be here for you. I hope you surgery goes well and recovery is speedy. See you soon when you update us. Sending love n hugs from West Australia
Dear Carol, am so sorry to hear your awful news. I was 40 and got breast cancer, that was 16 years ago. As u say the waiting is the hardest part. I am very lucky as we have a Maggie centre here. Not sure if you are aware of them or not, but heard you say you were to be possibly going to Leeds, and had a quick look and they have one in St James hospital. Some folk think that Maggies must be a very somber place, but in my experience it’s anything but. We had a breast cancer group, and it was wonderful connecting with other girls going through the same thing, albeit all at different stages, but being able to share your thoughts and worries with people going through what you are was so comforting, and supportive. They also support your relatives, which was another great comfort. Then they had the lass coming round with the bras and “chicken fillets” !!! Our words, not hers !!! They have support and guidance if you need financial help, and so,some there who knows exactly what you are entitled too, and will help u fill out the paperwork. Sorry I am twittering on !!! Anyway my point is, that you’re not alone. U don’t know me, but if you ever need a blether then please just message me, as sometimes it can be easier speaking to a stranger. will be thinking about u next week, and sending you the biggest cyber huggle 🥰😘😍
First of all, STAY POSITIVE!! I hit 5 years cancer free this year. I also have asthma an d chronic bronchitis, type 2 diabetes, Essential tremors and then the told me I had breast cancer. I was fortunate in that it was stage zero and they got it out with surgery. I identify with everything you are going through which I'm sure many on here do. Stay strong warrior girl. You got this!
I was diagnosed at 49. I'm 64 and I'm still here after all the surgery all the chemo all the radiology. Stay strong..keep laughing keep things as normal as possible. Have bad days have good days..you will get through to the other side. Your personality will shine and like me you get used to wearing your cloths lop sided..no one notices anyway. Prayers for you and your family
So sorry to hear your news. I had breast cancer, two lumps like you. I was 70 and my last mammogram, I couldn’t feel any lumps, didn’t have any other signs. But when I had the letter I was in a state of shock so I can only imagine what you are going through. I am now a breast survivor and you will be too. Sending all my love and prayers to you. x
I will keep you in my prayers. This hard , I know. I just had surgery for colon cancer and I know what you mean about not feeling bad. I had no syptems. I can also relate to not being able to focus enough to create. It consumes your thoughts and is exhausting. I was so stressed out before my surgery. I'm 71 and never had surgery before. It will be alright and you can rest after your surgery. It will be a relief to know what kind of treatment you are facing. You have a whole group of supporters and we will be rooting for you. God be with you.🙏
I thank you for your bravery in sharing your diagnosis with us. You are and will be in my prayers and thoughts. I know your RUclips family will gather together to support you any way we can.
Carol, words cannot express my reaction to your news. Thank you for sharing, I am sure there will be many others who watch you going through or have gone along the same journey. My sister had/ has hormonal breast cancer so I understand the journey you are commencing. Listen to the nurses, enjoy your little man and each day is a new day. Love you my friend, will miss you but your health is utmost.
I don’t usually comment but this resonated with me.I am a two times breast cancer survivor, it’s tough but you can do it. Accept any help that is offered and try to keep your chin up. The waiting is horrible, once you get a plan it’s a bit easier to just get on with it. I was grade 3 stage 3, spread to all lymph nodes in my arm. No reconstruction done. Thinking of you on your journey. X ❤
It is a terrible thing. No one understands the impact of hearing those words unless they've heard them too. I have. Stay strong and keep fighting. The waiting is absolutely awful, but we will all be praying for you while you wait and thinking of you every day. ❤❤❤
I remember being where you are and the long waits to hear the next step. I also remember not feeling poorly but then they started treating me and then I felt poorly. I remember my son for a lot of his childhood was scared of hospitals because as he saw it they made you ill! That was nearly 20 years ago. I had surgery, chemo & radio. I feel my positive attitude and sense of humour really helped. You have both of those in spades. Take care of yourself and sending lots of warm wishes and strength to you 💜
Love and Hugs. Working in cancer research, every individual's journey is different. Treatment response is different. Was just reading on a colon cancer chemotherapy response on patients and here my lunch time popped up on your channel. Breast cancer treatment protocol has advanced tremendously in past decades. ER PR positive cancer -a lot better (sorry) version than triple negative one. Being positive and staying in the know of how to manage all during or even after therapy period with food, driving to hospital etc.. Stay strong and you are one.
November 7is my 70th birthday. My wish for my birthday is my friend Carol, you will get a wonderful prognosis from your surgery. I Will be praying for you.
Oh my gosh Carol!! I JUST FOUND YOU AND YOUR AMAZING CHANNEL LAST NIGHT!! I was searching for how to decorate the CD Cover Envelopes and found your CD Envelope Journal! Then this morning I watched your Embossing of TOILET PAPER!! Who knew! So I did a little search and this video hit me smack in the face! Are we related somehow? I also have breast cancer that has metastasized to one lymph node. Mine is on my right breast. I found the lump myself on my Thanksgiving Holiday at my son’s home in November 2022. But I kept it quiet. I figured it would go away. So I even kept it quiet to myself. I finally told my daughter. She told my son and my other daughter. They both live far away from me. So I was trying to spare them till I knew more. I also have Type 2 Diabetes (17 years now). I use insulin and 3 different pills. I have Scoliosis and an old injury to my back gives me chronic pain. I am living with my daughter and her family right now. The only place I go is to Doctor appointments. Because of my Back issues, my oncologist didn’t want to do Chemotherapy. He said it would kill me. My lump also started in my milk ducts. Hormones feed it. So my oncologist put me on a hormone blocker. I take one pill a day. Thinning hair is the worst side effect I’ve seen. It has thrown me back into menopause again (I’m 66). But it hasn’t bothered me. I felt like it was working. My lump felt like it was getting smaller. It had also moved to the far right of my right breast. My surgeon (I’ve had no surgeries yet) wanted to SEE the lump again since I’d been on the blocker for a year. A new mammogram and a new Ultrasound showed that the lump was bigger and so was the lymph node. At least I had no new lymph nodes. This was all found out about in April. I go back to see my Oncologist and my surgeon in June and we will come up with a new plan. I know exactly how you feel (at least here 6 months ago). I also don’t feel sick, I have no pain (yet). I have so many other things that hurts me. My cancer at least isn’t one of those. I’m so sorry this was so long. I just felt connected to you immediately!! Stay strong!!♥️♥️♥️
So sorry that you are having to endure this, as a Breast Cancer survivor I can say your Attitude will get you through it. Just keep it up and remember the hard days is our Lords, he will get you through it. Love you
I am so sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis. I was diagnosed the beginning of this year & had a bilateral mastectomy March 31. The diagnosis was in my right breast only but I opted to have both removed with no reconstruction. We are about the same age & at this point I felt the potential complications & additional pain was really not worth it. The type I had was very rare & I was very fortunate that it was caught early. Because it was caught early I have not had to have any treatments. I will be thinking of you & praying for you & all your medical team. I hope you have the best outcome possible. I know what you mean about it being mentally exhausting. Take care of yourself, stay positive, allow yourself some extra grace & be patient with your recovery & most of all love yourself. Please keep us updated as you can. 💗💕💕💕💕🌸
I sympathize with you as when one condition is added to already existing conditions it can get scary. I try to keep myself from any depression episodes, keep myself informed and listen to my doctors. Keep positive and wish all the best for you.
Happy Birthday to my fellow Libra! I turned 60 October 1. I’m sorry to hear about what your going through, I’m new to your channel. Wishing you all the best, healing is important and you have a good mindset. Sending prayers and positive energy over the pond from Florida, USA.❤
Will certainly rewatch your videos. Know that I will pray that the journey forward goes as smooth as possible. You are a truly amazing woman! The way you have been dealing with your health issues but continue to stay in touch with us shows your love of your followers. Hope in turn you feel the love returned.❤❤❤❤
I will play your videos at least twice a day and then start again ! I know I can hit play and do my housework while it plays ! I will play them often ! Please know there are lots of in your corner and we will watch and watch again to help you ! Sending healing hugs and prayers 🦋
Prayers sent your way. I’ve just found your channel and then I see this video. Hugs to you and prayers for strength and peace throughout this difficult time.
That was a shock to hear Carol. You have a very positive attitude to what’s happening and I can understand it being on your mind most of the time. That is only natural. I feel sure you will do well as recovery from Stage 2 is good. I’m sorry I’ve not had much time to comment on your back videos. Tku for the update and will be following your journey. Hugs and blessings.
Hi Carol I know you are a strong lady, I have had my breast removed 5 years ago and I hear your pain I had family history of breast cancer, yes it is the waiting is horrible I had radiation treatment, stay strong and thank you for everything
Hi carol this has taken me back to my cancer journey you described it exactly. I wish you a very speedy recovery and please only do as much as you feel able to do. Please take as much help as is offered. We will all be here waiting agog for news and tutorials when you feel up to it. Best wishes sweetheart you will be in my thoughts.❤
You are so eloquent in how you shared this with us. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you in this journey to recovery. I have always admired you and you are the person that peaked my interest into junk journaling. Keep a strong attitude and know you have people out here that are pulling for you and will be here when you need us. Sending you Big HUGS!
I think its remarkable how strong and brave you are carol. I admire you so much on reaching out to us all about your journey and how important it really is for all us ladies to get checked. I wish you all the best for your recovery. Take care my friend. Xx
I am praying for you and all the doctors involved. I admire you for having the positive attitude that you do, thank you for sharing this very personal and private journey with us. Keep being strong and positive as much as possible. We love you.
Prayers, sweet Carol. I myself totally get where you're coming from. I have had 1 thing after another since July of this year. Daily pain and need surgery on both of my hands, but because of low kidney function, they will not do. I've been out of work since July. So they don't know if it's kidney disease or an Autoimmune disorder or what is causing everything. You are right about the waiting because that's all I feel like I'm doing. Also, the mental part is just horrible, not knowing anything. I Will keep you in my prayers 🙏
Thank you so much for taking time to put this video out there. Unfortunately I too was diagnosed with the same type yesterday so I truly know what it took for you to do this. I’ve been looking for info on the web….not such a good idea I know so I REALLY appreciate hearing your thoughts and insight at this horrible time. Keep well and as positive as you can lovely lady and thank you again xXx
I am sorry to hear your news Carol. I have missed your videos and have been searching for new posts without luck and now I understand why. I have been watching your previous videos and just love them. You are so inspiring and talented. I am also impressed by your courage as you face your medical journey and wish you the best outcome. Thank you for inspiring us creatively challenged and I am looking forward to hearing from you when you’re back in the craft room. Big hugs.
Sending good vibes and prayers to you Carol. You got this and all your health care providers need our prayers to get you through! We will watch your videos and send our love❤
Such a rollercoaster of events and emotions. Please be kind to yourself. I've twice been on the same journey as yourself Carol and had all treatments. I send you some healing hugs. The breast care staff will be there for you and if you have a Maggie's centre they are also a great support. ❤
All my love and prayers go out to you, Carol, as you begin your journey and fight against this despicable disease. You are a remarkably strong and brave lady! I'm praying for a full healing for you. ❤
Prayers for you and for all the staff who is working on your surgery and recovery. Steady hands and hearts for all. I will start watching videos -- which will be a pleasure for me. Thank you
What a roller coaster Miss Carol. I pray for the best possible outcome with your surgery. That it will solve the cancer issue. This is a very brave and important public announcement you’ve made. You have a lot going on and could have stayed silent about it. I’m late for my appointment, which I will schedule-and please, please-ladies do the same for your bubbies. I look forward to hearing from you. If you want to go live and just shoot the breeze (sht) about whatever, that would be nice. Oh-I need to clean my house too. I was fighting a few dust bunnies (dinosaurs really) today. I know that you’ll be overwhelmed with advice-so forgive me in advance…turkey tail mushrooms (trametes versicolor) has been studied for breast cancer-if you want to look into it or not. 🙏❤️
Oh Carole not sure what to say. Iam a 20 yr shriver from breat cancer. I had a mastectomy and then reconstruction. Mine was hormone related and I was blessed that all I had to do was take pills for 5 yrs. But the implants are only good for about 10 yrs. Mine deflated and had to just leave it alone because I'm one blood thinner and the surgery wasn't worth the risk. But I go every 6mos for check up. But a year after the mastectomy I was able to have a reduction on the other side so I would sorta match But the reduction was the best thing that could of happened Carole you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hi Carol, I’m so very sorry to hear this. Cancer is an awful thing. Try to stay positive and keep your mind occupied. My thoughts will be with you for your surgery and recovery. Take care.
I am so sorry to hear this news! Brings tears to my eyes, I do admire how strong you seemed to be in your video. Please know I will be praying for you! I will definately watch mire videos. You are a very strong women! Live hugs and prayers!
Stay strong Carol. Sending much love and many hugs ❤ Waiting for tests, plans etc for me on both my kidney issues and my brain tumor were my hardest times. I'm an impatient being.
Hi Carol so sorry to hear this. I’ve had my breast removed 2 years ago I know what you going through. Sending you lots of love and hugs from Tasmania ❤❤❤❤❤
I also was diagnosed in late August with breast cancer although I have to start with 5 months of chemo. before surgery and radiation after surgery, It's very tough I know! Good luck to you!!!!
Carol you are a brave lady. Thank you for sharing your diagnosis and educating us on getting checked. I can easily watch your past videos! And I'll look forward to any new ones. You're subbies will be here whenever you can return! Take care of yourself and know I'm thinking of you and sending positive thoughts! Hugs from South Dakota, USA 🤗
Dear, sweet Carol…It’s scary! I am mainly writing this to give you some hope. I had both breasts removed in 2006 due to stage 2 , HER2 positive breast cancer (a fairly rare and aggressive type) but I am still here today about 18 years later! I was 56 and now 74. After two years, and of course all the treatments etc. the oncologist that I went to in a new town where I had moved to, asked me why I was there! I thought that it was pretty obvious😂… but he went on to tell me that an aggressive cancer such as I had would either take me pretty soon or it was gone! He said that I no longer needed to come see them because I was cured! I just want you to know the approach that I took that helped to have this outcome, I believe. (I found my lump at the beginning of a long holiday…two or three weeks but it’s been so long that I have forgotten exactly how long, but I do know that I kept it secret until we got home. We do that don’t we! Probably not the smartest thing that I have ever done. Immediately after arriving home I scheduled the mammogram which happened quickly because of the lump and the doctor called that evening with the bad news and then the even worse news (about the type) and I actually felt sorry for her needing to deliver such news. I was optimistic before the news but that’s me. My knees buckled. Then, the tests, surgery ( I was able to opt for a double mastectomy because of my family history of cancers) and then no reconstruction because I opted for both chemotherapy and radiation (if I chose the radiation I could not also have reconstruction because of the effects of radiation on your skin). Why am I telling you this? Because a friend’s daughter also had the same thing at about the same time and in part because she was younger, chose reconstruction over the radiation. Last I heard, long ago, hers had returned while mine did not. I still feel bad for her but hopefully someone will read this and decide to fight the cancer without worrying about the cosmetics, because like you, I didn’t need those things anymore. My sister had a mastectomy in her thirties and lived into her sixties. The one other piece of info that I want to pass along is that I hope that you will especially pay good attention to nutrition and a healthy diet because that’s where I failed and now, largely because I couldn’t be bothered to make decent meals since I have been alone these last 6 years, I now have Lupus. I think it could have been prevented. Live and learn, I guess, but hopefully this info can help someone else. I’m still fortunate because I still awaken happy in the mornings! I just don’t want all these health issues to steal the life that I have left! So I try to be happy as much of the time as I can and make it count. Please don’t give up! So sorry that you are going through this. I just found your channel and this video and I share your feelings.. Hang in there my friend…do everything you can! Are you posting any updates? Good luck to you!!💕💕💕
Thank you for keeping us updated . You are in my daily prayers. I pray that you are treated by great doctors who will prescribe the right treatment. You are such a strong person.

@carol.tinson-paper.crafts I started to watch your pages about 4 years ago. We moved in with my mother after my father passed away. I started with journal books to keep my mind busy. After a year, my mother asked that we must rather move. So we did. I keep on going with the journals ....now to make sense of why we have to move....still don't know, but I have peace in my heart. I just know that somewhere in my journey, God wanted me to learn something. Now, I am praying constantly for my daughter 19 years old. She is in a relationship where the guy is a narcissist. She was thinking we were wrong. Slowly, God works. Thank you so much for everything you taught me. You are a wonderful woman with a great talent from God. I just pray that God will be with you every step of every day. By the way, I am from South Africa.
Carol, my thoughts and best wishes to you. You will come through this ordeal like the champion you are! Love your positive attitude. That really makes a difference. Belated happy birthday and many more❤❤❤
I wish you all the best on your upcoming surgery and everything that follows Carol. 🙏🏼. Always keep your wonderful spirits high and that will keep you going as it always has. Cry, yell, be mad when you need to and then let it go and move forward. Whatever has helped you through all your other health issues will continue to do so now as well. 🙏🏼. I 🙏🏼will pray for you on my end 💕🤗
I am so sorry you’re going through this. You are an inspiration to everyone with how you are dealing with this. I’m sure you’ll stay strong, but expect some wobbles along the way. I’ll be thinking of you next week. When you feel up to it keep us all informed how you’re getting on. But only when you feel up to it. Take care my lovely x

Hi Carol, your video really touched me 😢 and I wish you well on this detour in life not taken by choice. A thought: don't own the cancer. It's not yours; it was never yours. I am sorry Carol! 💔 I hope you continue to be positive and do what you must to take care of your health till recovery. ‘We don’t know how strong we are until STRONG was our only choice!’ Take care and keep us posted. Meantime, sending you love and prayers.

Sending all my love and prayers to you. x
Dear Carol I am surviving Cancer be positive I will pray for you 🙏🙏🙏 Be strong and fight !!❤
Thankyou so much :) xx
Will be praying for you.
Dear Carol! So sorry to hear about your breast cancer. I wish you well ❤!!! Keep us updated. Keep strong!! XOXO
Thankyou so much :) xx
Thankyou so much :) xx

That was a shock to hear Carol. You have a very positive attitude to what’s happening and I can understand it being on your mind most of the time. That is only natural. I feel sure you will do well as recovery from Stage 2 is good. I’m sorry I’ve not had much time to comment on your back videos. Tku for the update and will be following your journey. Thankyou so much Catherine :) xx
Big hugs.

Thankyou so much :) xx
Prayers for you and for all the staff who is working on your surgery and recovery. Steady hands and hearts for all. I will start watching videos -- which will be a pleasure for me. Thank you
Thankyou so much :) xx
But a year after the mastectomy I was able to have a reduction on the other side so I would sorta match
But the reduction was the best thing that could of happened
Carole you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I will be keeping you in my prayers, Carol.
Thankyou so much :) xx

Thanks :) xx
Good luck to you!!💕💕💕
i will be praying for you every day, please keep us posted, i have been thinking about you

Praying for you and know that many others are also. Thank you for letting us know so we can support you through this journey. Hugs
Thankyou so much :) xx
Carol, my thoughts and best wishes to you. You will come through this ordeal like the champion you are! Love your positive attitude. That really makes a difference. Belated happy birthday and many more❤❤❤
