That's by Vertigo Comics, my man. DC owns Vertigo now but not when V for Vendetta was first published. In fact, I think a small British publisher owned the rights to it at the very beginning.
Vertigo has always been an imprint of DC. DC founded Vertigo to have a different name they could put on anything too mature/violent/unconventional, everything they didn't want to or couldn't put the DC name on at the time. It has always been the same company though. V for Vendetta was originally published by some company in the UK that went bankrupt and DC picked it up and finished the series. They republished it under their Vertigo imprint later. So if you'd buy it now, yeah, it says Vertigo on the cover. I guess they just counted stories that say "DC comics" on the cover? And they probably didn't look into the history of all titles they considered to fnd out who originally published them etc. If they counted Vertigo titles, this list would have to look very different. V for Vendetta was great, definitely one of my favourites, but what about Hellblazer, Transmetropolitan, Sandman? (Yes, those are series, but all of them have several great stories you could pick) Maybe they are saving them for a Top 10 Vertigo stories list?
I was hoping to see Crisis on Infinite Earths and DC universe Rebirth Special, Siniestro Corps War to be in this list and/or at least get an honorable mention.

That's by Vertigo Comics, my man. DC owns Vertigo now but not when V for Vendetta was first published. In fact, I think a small British publisher owned the rights to it at the very beginning.
When V for Vendetta was first published there was no Vertigo label so it is just a Dc comic , like Watchmen.
(Yes, those are series, but all of them have several great stories you could pick)
Maybe they are saving them for a Top 10 Vertigo stories list?
The Judas Contract is my favorite from my childhood
DC Is neat
Good list, mostly for Batman, Superman, and JLA, its unfortunate that the other DC superheroes don't get more attention
blackest night and flashpoint should have been on there.
I was hoping to see Crisis on Infinite Earths and DC universe Rebirth Special, Siniestro Corps War to be in this list and/or at least get an honorable mention.
So many great DC comics and it is still difficult for Time Warner to build a perfect DCEU.
Ok but not good as marvel
It seems this one is not so well known, Superman: Secret Identity. I love the twist in this quirky little tale.
Injustice 1 was good and court of owls
Long Halloween is such a good starting point for fans.
lol AAH-QUAMAN
Not too bad bad list but left out some epic storylines such as Flashpoint Paradox, which should have taken the number 4 spot.
I love Dark Knight Returns, but Watchmen is number one, period. And this entire list is invalid because it doesn't contain Legion of Superheroes : The Great Darkness Saga.
I don't care about the rankings, these stories are epic on their own.
Top 10 Mia Khalifa performances
007fenril It’ll happen, just wait for them to run out of ideas.
007fenril waiting on it
@@knob9442 Their next video will be the top 10 best kinds of pebbles. I highly doubt they'll run out of ideas...
007fenril ummm...Superman gets a boner .fucks her.tears her clitt off by accident and DC gets a lawsuit. anymore Q's?
Dc is the best in comic and animated
I am Surprised the “Death in the family” story wasn’t in the list. It was really good and the fans got to chose the outcome.
Edit: And also, where is Batman: Year One?
Kingdom is the best DC story ever told.
"batman kills jl"
"greatest dc comics"
try harder
Batman: Hush and Flashpoint ought to be on here
dark knight returns is one of the most over rated comics of all time.
Really? All I see in the comments are people saying it's over rated. Sounds like they rate it just fine.
Wa wa wa.
Is it bad that im a batman fan and i dont like that comic
cptghost Nope, you have free opinion, but why don’t you like this comic, it’s epic.
The ChosenOne idk just never was intreested in the story of it
