    This has got to be the BEST most thorough review of the 1st week on Nutrisystem. Great job! You guys are lots of fun too! Funny! "The cookies suck" LOL. I'm going to place my order tomorrow. Congratulations to you both on your weight loss.

    I have been scanning videos trying to decide if I want to try Nutrisystem. This was by far the most honest, entertaining and informative video I have watched. Thank you and bless your union🥰 You guys are great together.

    I have done nutrisystem in the past and it definitely works. Starting again today. Andrea and the shakes was hilarious. Love watching your videos and subscribed.

    I've just started NS and chose to go with all frozen. The food is surprisingly good. We must remember that this isn't food from a five star restaurant but it is good. Everyone has different tastes so I think saying don't get this or that isn't a fair statement. I tried NS by buying a 7 day frozen plan from amazon to see if the food was good and it was. I don't like "shelf stable" food so that is why I went the frozen route, the box a month of food came in could hold a small child. It was a difficult fit for my freezer but I managed. I'm sticking with what the plan states not doing any add on's, etc. Good luck on your journey.

    I wasn't hungry on week one. I added a huge portion of salad or fresh veggies to every dinner. You should add veggies and extra broth (low-sodium) to the soups and chili, etc. which doubles the portion size. Learn to eat less salt and you will get used to it. The White Cheddar Mac & Cheese - add hot sauce and chicken as your added protein. Don't microwave everything - especially anything with bread. Toasting the buns separately from the burger or chicken is So much better. I stayed on NS for 7 months and lost 60 lbs. I maintained it for over a year and continued to blend NS with normal foods but eventually got bored with their products, especially as more and more of my favorites were phased out. It is a good program if you read their articles. It really gets you to understand proper portion size and I got better at substituting lower calorie foods. But, I always get bored if there isn't enough variety.

      Congrats on your successes! You are right, Nutrisystem does encourage a portion of veggies with every meal, in every week except the first one. We also found using a toaster oven or air fryer helped too. Any program that works for you is a great program for sure!

    You guys are hella cute, and your reactions are crackin me up. I just got my freezer box yesterday and began today. By midday I was ready to eat a small child. Instead, I added half a sweet potato to my dinner pocket and veggies and that worked. Love your channel.

    Congratulations! You both are doing good! I’m currently on Nutrisystem and very happy with the scale results. With the exception of the staple food entree items (do not like) my food preferences are the frozen breakfast, frozen lunch and frozen dinner entree choices. With the exception of the cookies, the bars and snacks are great. The Pistachio Biscottis great with a cup of tea. The frozen chocolate cupcake and the new chocolate and strawberry cheesecakes are delicious and so are the ice creams. I’m thinking on continuing ordering many of the deserts after reaching maintenance. About shakes: adding a teaspoon of instant coffee or a splash of real vanilla extract makes for great tasting shakes and helps with the protein aftertaste. Best luck to you and all on Nutrisystem!     I just bought the system but a la carte because I hate the shelf stable meals and most of the snacks. Will definitely be using the air fryer this go round. Oh- blending the shake with almond milk and a few berries or a 1/4 banana goes a long way 😀

    Thanks for the full review. I noticed you only added some fresh vegetables did you avoid fresh fruits for a reason? And were you limited to what vegetables you could add? Glad to hear you both had good results from your week one. Hope you both continue to see good results!😁

      We avoided fruits since they are high in sugars and calories. The Nutrisystem plan said to augment the meals with leafy (Non-starchy) vegetables, so that's what we did.
      We had fantastic results and we're working on the week two video now.

    Thank you for the video it was so funny. I do understand what you were talking about. I'm almost done with the first week. I'll tell you the bean with the pasta was mushy and awlful tasting and that one I received 6, I hope I make it through it. You 2 were awesome, Thanks again!

    I really enjoyed your video. I did Nutrisystem many years ago & the food was horrible. It looks like it’s improved a lot. As soon as I can afford it I’m going to do it. I’m motivated but can’t afford right now. Btw the name of the cookies you were trying to think of was Snackwell.

    Glad you did a review. I am on WW and eat way more food then the both of you did and have lost over -50 lbs on WW. I am not usually crazy about shelve food or frozen meals very picky about them but glad it worked for the two of you. I am not crazy about cereal bars they never fill me up. I eat a lot of veggies but never want to be hungry. I ❤️ you guys. Thanks for sharing.

      I agree, the portion sizes are terribly small in week 1. In week 2 you are supposed to add to it. Congrats on your successes so far. I really liked WW too

    I’ve always liked the NS food. People who think it’s disgusting have obviously never eaten 1980’s era MREs in the military! Also, the Kung Pao noodles are amazing over steamed broccolli !! Good luck, it works if you stick with it!!!

    Oh, I never put bread or meat in the microwave to cook and I'm not about to start now. Those hot pocket things are pretty tasty when you put them in the oven. The directions are on the package.

      For the veggies, it's pretty much all you can eat. it's the dressing, cheese, etc that'll getcha.

    try making your shake in a blender with some ice added in. It helps tremendously.

      Hello! No we have not stopped the nutrisystem yet, though we did hit pause over the holiday weekend. We still have two more weeks of foods from them Togo before we decide to keep it or try something else.

      Smell and taste are two different things, if you don’t like the smell before you taste then you may mentally not like the taste if the smell is bad but we are all different people.

    Garen, you did it great but your mom was complaining all the time. The chocolate muffin is the most sold item. Everybody love it!! Your mom won't lose weight on this program.

      Haha ouch, I (Andrea) am not his mother, I am his wife, and he's 4 years older than me. Ido however think you are right, I wasn't a fan of a lot of the items in week 1. I did find I enjoyed more of the frozen foods in week 2.

      Garen’s mom (my mom) never tried nutra system before she died. However, she was pretty darn successful at everything she put her hands on. So I call BS on that prediction, even if we have no way to prove you wrong.
