    I'm starting tomorrow. I did NS about 12 years ago during my senior year of college. I lost 60 lbs in five months. I kept it off for eight years. Then, I got married two years ago. Stopped caring. Now, I gained twenty of the sixty back and need to get back on track. Thank you for the video series.

    Thank you for sharing, this has been a huge help. I watched your first 2 videos and they helped me in getting started. I just finished week 1 and lost 5 lbs (but gained .6 back) I'm very encouraged because of your videos. I have dieted all my life, and I give up quickly because I don't lose weight fast enough. I'm not giving up on Nutrisystem. I bought 2 months worth. May do 3, but I hope it helps me with portion control. My husband always tells me that's my problem, I don't watch my portions. I eat really healthy, but I eat too much. You have been an inspiration!!!

    Congrats on your 25 pound loss! You look great! 👍 I started on May 3 and likely will stick with the program until mid to late November. I really love the convenience of Nutrisystem. I've been walking at least 1.5 miles almost every day, plus been doing the Mommy workout (8-10 mins) 4 or 5 days of the week, and lifting free weights 2-3 times a week. I'm really focused on retaining existing muscle and possibly build more! So far, I've lost 15+ lbs in 6 weeks.

    I found this video helpful and inspiring. I am 67 and have gained some weight. I need to lose about 40 pounds or so. I am having trouble keeping up with my little granddaughter and am more out of breath. I ordered the vegetarian program today and will get going as soon as it comes. I am going to watch your other videos, too. I hate not being able to fit into my favorite clothes!!

    Congratulations - you look great! Amazing how much better/ more attractive people look when thinner. I am considering Nutrisystem and watched several of your videos about it. Your weight loss is very noticeable in your face (and of course your body too). You are very well spoken - easy to listen to with good, thoughtful advice and you seem very reflective. Much of what you said of yourself and your habits I could relate to - portion size and healthy choices is the key. Most of us eat and snack too much and make bad choices - just eat much larger portions than we should and is needed/ healthy. I have eaten 1,000 calorie "snacks" before (that I thought about afterwards) - very poor choices w/o thinking about it. Inspirational videos. You seem to have the right mindset to make a permanent change. Good luck to you in attaining and maintaining your goals!

    Your videos have been extremely inspirational. I’m on day 4 and feeling strong for now. Last night I was with friends and I’m a social drinker but I’ve been abstaining. I don’t know if I’ll be able to abstain for long. Did you drink? (a glass of wine here and there). I’m definitely going to go back to your videos when I’m feeling weak. Thank you for doing this. It really is a huge help.

      Ashley Juvinall I am so glad you are being encouraged! Yes you are allowed to drink I think it’s two glasses of wine or some other alcoholic beverages. I just remember seeing this on the grocery guide. I am sending you a link to that and it has all the information for anything you’re allowed to have and not have.     Great tips!! I was bummed I stalled out to on NS after loosing 32 lbs last 15 has been super slow , I think I need a reboot!!

      +Annamaria Brown glad they were helpful! I would try cutting out the night time snack if you haven’t already or maybe switch up your power fuels and smart carbs and see if that helps. Sometimes our bodies get used to what we’re doing and just that little change can help. I found more weight loss on days I ate oatmeal with peanut butter in the afternoons🤷🏻‍♀️ verses a string cheese and hummus. You have done great though with 32 down!!! Wonderful!!!!👏🏼

    I just started Nutrisystem on Friday 10/2. I'm not new to this program I've done it before but wasn't serious about it. Since Covid-19 I work from home everyday so I will be more focused now. Your video was very helpful and very relatable. One thing I didn't do and I think is a great idea and that is take a picture of myself. Thanks again.

    Might be late to the game but I loveeee nutrisystem I lost 50 pounds prior to even starting nutrisystem but I was running and training 5 miles+ 5 days a week...I did not change my diet and of course stopped losing weight and plateaued....nutrisystem taught me how to eat. I can now run an 8 minute mile, lift my own body weight and I feel amazing.... I learned how to eat clean and tasty with nutrisystem

    So true about not getting heavy over night... I could see and feel my body get wider but refused to care. I was just being so lazy and careless. I chose to just let myself go.... I was being so naive about my health issues. I new that if I didn’t straighten my life out, I was for sure going to have some serious health problems soon. Your videos have been very helpful, thank you...I too needed Nutrisystem for your same reasons and some of my personal ones as well. Though I would love to use the COVID-19 scare as an excuse for my weight gain, I would only be lying to myself. I just ate and drank a lot because it’s so easy to do while watching your favorite programs on the tube!!!😂😂 I should have taken some photo shots like you did. It would have been cool to see the changes my body was going through during this weight loss program. I blew Kathryn... Damn it!! My weight lost seem to have occurred quicker then I anticipated... Again being that I have 2 jobs I’m on my feet for at least over 13+ hours pretty daily. That’s what makes this plan so perfect. It is expensive no doubt but I was spending way out of my means with my Booz and fast food choices. I haven’t stirred off this program as of yet. No flex meals or cheating. I’ve been very good at logging all the necessary items to a tee... I’m obsessed with H2O right now!!!! You should see my collection of empty plastic bottles I started collecting back in mid-August... The VERY HUGE + that I have learned from Nutrisystem is way better food buying choices and of course the NuMi Journal. If I may share this short story with your channel viewers: I’ve worked in the produce dept. for Safeway for many years but never bought fresh fruit our vegetables. I always headed to the deli department to buy greasy food like chicken strips, pizza pockets, jojo potato wedges, corn dogs and or the bakery dept. for some freshly baked cheesy bread, donuts, muffins or jumbo cookies and it got worse when they added a Starbucks in our store when we have one across the street🤦🏾 My god... the only time I grazed in my produce department was when I was giving out samples.... My exercise comes from lifting a lot of heavy items like potato sacks and banana cases and I get a lot of walking around from the golf country club... I love that job a lot!!! The portion sizes I agree were very helpful in my journey.. I was way over eating. So true about water!!! It’s like the best natural stuff out there!!! At least way better then those Lagunitas I was sucking down like it was soda pop!! I’ve benefited a lot from drinking water... You nailed it with movement. My fat ass had a serious time with movement. I felt so constricted... I totally agree with your pros.... I’m very lucky.. Safeway has a microwave and fridge so does the country club😁😁😁😁!!! I’m so so on your cons... I definitely think it was worth trying. My eating habits have changed for the better. I’m starting to get some of my confidence back!! I would definitely like to continue watching your channel for some helpful tips. I just received my final month of foods. So I’ll be needing some of your expertise... Can I drop you my email address?     Hi enjoyed your wrap up Nutrisystem video; good info as I start the program.
    I will officially start Nutrisystem on September 28, pending my first delivery.
    Motivation is what I probably require the most, like most people I’ve lost and gained
    weight most of my life. Several years ago I lost about 60 lbs and kept it off just about
    Three years; sadly I’ve gained most of it back. I am currently ten years older and know
    My health; looks, and life could depend on my ability to remain motivated, focused, and

    Kathryn May is lovely and I love this series. But remember that for every 10lbs lost your resting calorie needs go down 100 calories. Sooo if you loose a bunch of weight but do the same thing you won't have a big deficit and the loss will be less.
    Also one week you'll gain weight because of menses as long as it goes away in a week it's just water.
    I don't eat the meals and snacks in order. I just use the app to make sure I don't double up. Love the app.

      +Pat Brandt, sure thing! I am now eating an 80/20 diet and eat primarily healthy veggies and non processed. I use BeachBody workouts and Barre Blend. The key I’ve found is mindset though. That’s what’s helped me stay on track. I appreciate you watching my channel and supporting my journey. Stay tuned for more healthy ideas and help!

    Wow, you were smart. You did this diet in the right time. Wish I would've thought of this! I did get the Pandemic 15. Oh my god...I was almost 200 lbs. I was like no, no, no, no, no, no...I started trying to lose the weight, and I've lost successfully about 11 lbs, but my problem is that on my own, I can hold off weight gain pretty well, but losing weight is challenging for me. I'm also a Flight Attendant, and it's SO HARD to eat healthy AND be in this industry. I live out of a suitcase 6 days a week, and don't get me wrong, I love what I do, but food is just a challenge for me. I tried to meal prep when I got back to work last month, but that was a challenge I couldn't keep up with. Long hours, only home 4 days in the month, and this pandemic made me gain 15 lbs, and I've lost 11 of it, which is huge, but I'm far from my goal to begin with, and it keeps getting further and further away each time. That's why I picked up Nutrisystem. I picked up the Uniquely Yours Ultimate plan. It's really my first time picking something up like this, but it's structured enough where I can follow it, and I don't have to prep anything except veggies, which I can do. I'm done spending $20 for greasy, fatty, yucky airport food. I am starting tomorrow.

    Just purchased this. Im only 1 pound overweight BMI-wise but there's nothing like staying at a more ideal healthy weight.

      When not working I usually do 14 days of just eating 1 banana per day and water to keep me alive... It works out but I have no energy, can't do that while working, I'll pass out.

    Useful Nutrisystem info. I’m 70. A 247 pound male needing to shed 66 pounds and I’m on week one of the middle level. With flex meals. I just bought a la cart to cover the flex meals. Then for month three I’ll buy the plan you were on. So - what have you found to help post Nutrisystem? Thanks!

    I’m glad you did so well the third month would’ve been totally discouraging for me but your picture show that you did well on the program I am skeptical as I’m just finishing my first week I had a few stomach pains because of some of the processed food I believe I was not used to eating that I really do not like all the sweet stuff in the morning and don’t love the bars and high sugar content and also like you said so much processed food I’m gonna call them this week and see what they tell me but I’m not sure if they will give any other advice or help or what to do at this point???
    I am not young I am 57 years old I have a double hernia surgery that I need to take care of it is a result of cancer that I had nine years ago and I was always in shape dancer 20s at Disney World and after getting married and having two children my body changed of course and cancer didn’t do the best for either so I’m struggling to find a weight loss program to help me the best and I’m just not sure this is it!!!
    Advice ? help ?? anybody??

      Hey!! I’m so sorry to hear you’ve struggled so much. The thing I always tell people is the same thing I had to tell myself....I was already eating a highly processed and HIGH sugar diet before nutrisystem, that’s why I was in trouble to begin with. It took time to get used to it, but if I compared it to what I already ate it was a way better option. Plus, the program really pushes eating four servings of veggies a day and I wasn’t getting even one some days. I hope you can hang on and maybe go through and pick food you like for your next shipment.

      I ordered the uniquely yours ultimate plan that came with all 7 days. I didn’t have to eat my own meals. However you can order the others that are 5 days only and do what is called flex meals. Check the comments for a code to 50% off all plans to try one!

      I have switched it up several times to find what works best for me and when I stall I swap it up. I’ve been eating a high density low cal called 2B Mindset and I’ve swapped to 21-Day Fix but have followed it loosely. I’ll be sharing in a video soon for you!

    I just purchased the Uniquely yours plan. Which is 5 days of meals which includes frozen meals. I'm trying to get used to making my own meals on the off 2 days. Just couldn't see myself doing the ultimate. So expensive. I did get 55% off though for committing to a 3 month program. I saw that you have a herniated disc. Did the weight loss help that at all? I have herniated discs as well, and it might be due to the weight and the lack of water. Hoping to lose weight to avoid getting surgery as I have been in a lot of pain the past few months.

      Good for you! Yes I did feel much better loosing the weight. I still have 23 more to go! I spoke with a Nutrisystem counselor who said that for every 1 pound of weight lost its 5 pounds of pressure off your back!!!! How much are you wanting to lose?

      @@KathrynMay My goal is to get down about 80 pounds. I got my order on the 26th and started that day. I just finished the first week. I lost 8 pounds first week. Crazy. I am on the bigger side and guessing maybe some of it is just water weight but seeing it on the scale is nice. First week was tough but I stuck to it which makes the next weeks seem like a piece of cake. My doctor said I need to lose 50 pounds to be able to get back surgery but I'm hoping I will not need surgery as the pressure gets released from my spine. My doctor recommended gastric bypass surgery but I just couldn't see myself committing to that for life as I have seen many people have many health problems for doing that.

    Building muscle ADDS weight even though you are loosing fat and your weight does not change. But, muscle burns fat all by itself. So, if you are building muscle mass and not loosing weight you are still getting healthier. When the muscle mass stops growing because it built up to match your exercise routine, now you will loose the FAT weight faster and see the success you are looking for. Your pics may show some nice muscles too?

      A snack at night is not a bad thing. U just have to make sure ur last snack is 6 hours before you sleep or u gain weight

      Yes, but I eat dinner around 6 and sleep at 10-10:30 ish, so a snack at 8 isn’t a good idea.

    I think $400 a month (including additional shopping) is not that much in my opinion. Maybe because I am living in one of the most expensive state? Here the food prices might be little higher. If you think of cooking at home everyday you will spend right about 400 a month and you realistically go out from time to time. Does anyone else share my opinion?

      It's not! I agree. It's just all about mindshift. Buying food at the grocery store is our "norm" so it's acceptable to spend $400 a WEEK at the grocer. But, when we're being asked to spend it in a different way there is resistance. So, I agree with you.

    I wonder why you were on an 880 calorie diet. Nutrisystem started me on a 1000 calorie diet. I wonder if because I weighed 153 and was only targeting 20 lbs, if they did that on purpose to keep me on their diet, longer. Also, I eat the nightly snacks alot of time when I really don't want them. Maybe I should skip them sometimes. I thought they wanted me to eat everything because of the protein need.

      Ssmegancats I actually like the food. There were only a couple of items that I didn’t like but could Stomach them. I’m not picky I love food. I think a couple of the pasta dishes that were non-perishable we’re pretty gross and other than that I liked everything I had no problem eating the food

      Choose the program that includes frozen food - way better than pantry entrees. Also, I personally don't like any of the pasta dishes (but I'm not a pasta person anyway), so I avoid those.

      Up until now I have just been eating a healthier diet. I just eat a lot of vegetables and protein. I don’t have anything specific that I’m following at this point. I am starting Nutrisystem again for the summer.

      @@KathrynMay it is easier to have everything laid out for you. I have lost weight so many times in my life... going back to the 80's, a place called The diet center (500 cal diet) geez... no wonder my metabolism is messed up? ( diabetic and age against me too 68 ) But the highest weight I have ever been was 160, back in those days I would get to 110...now I am 145 and would like to get to 130. I have always been active, playing tennis and pickleball now, walking and swimming too. I usually just cut way back and hardly eat, so I am enjoying the Nutrisystem mealplan. Now that I found out about the Costco discounts, I think I might plan another month with alacarte meals and susstituting some of my own too. I have been saving the nutrisystem containers and that will help me keep the portions right.

      @@KathrynMay yup, I was doing OMAD and keto, and not losing a thing for all the "waiting to eatin the window"......I hated it! Iam going to compare some things in the grocery store too, like the Jimmy dean sausage muffins or bowls to the NS? Also bran flakes for BF, just measure! I found some good rice crispy snacks that are almost the same as the NS Jalapeno ones, that I am loving too. WE just have to be organized!

      I actually Vlogged my entire journey from start to finish with nutrisystem here on RUclips. I am not quite sure what you mean by sharing my journey outside of that? And I’m pretty sure sharing my journey does mean I am talking about myself doesn’t it? Was there something in particular you would like to know that I was not able to cover? This channel is more of a personal get to know me and live life together type of channel more than an “ informative” “how to”
      all the time.
