I love your skirt. It looks beautiful and so comfortable too. I am so happy your sister is getting an insulin pump soon. I have been a type 1 diabetic for 39 years. I’ve had a pump for about 20 years. You will be invaluable to her in making various ways for her to wear or carry her pump. I have sewn tiny pockets on all my pajama pants to make it easy to have my pump secure while sleeping. Best wishes to you both. ❤ Diann
That's good to know, I'm sure he loved it. I went ahead and took some measurements, he knows I'm making him something just not what exactly. I think it's quite an oversized pattern too.
Hi Tania, such a nice idea to make something for your sister. My brother-in-law and my little nephew both have T1 diabetes. I haven't made one yet, but there are patterns on Etsy for insulin pump bands
Wow, you have a lot of things to make, can’t wait to see them. I love the skirt you made, this is the style I like but I haven’t seen any patterns like it. ❤😊
I have made several shirts for my husband. He is very comfortable asking me for clothes. I am making and repairing stuff and looking at my little stack of fabrics and patterns that I hope to make for me. Sorry you were sick. It has to be one of the hardest parts of parenting. I am from Austin, Texas USA.
Hi, sorry that you're comment slipped through the youtube net. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you have found some time to make up the patterns for yourself. Happy sewing.
Lovely Vlog 😊 - AdamSews has just announced he is making the new FPCo sweatshirt and he has bought some lovely charcoal cord that is sherpa backed. He bought from 1st For Fabrics - very reasonably priced I think too 😊
Hi Tania, hope you’re feeling better and you can get back to your sewing machine soon. I saw some Sherpa backed cord in Abakhan Shrewsbury this morning, it was in a rusty colour. I’m not sure if it’s on their website or not but could be worth a look. Ruth x
Hi Tania. Deffo think the Ilford would work best with Sherpa in the bodice and something slidey in the sleeves. Good luck with all your Christmas plans.

Thank you, I think it will take her a while to get used to but she's looking forward to less injecting.
I’ve made the Ilford for my son and it was easy to fit him with just his measurements since he lives far.

Higgs and Higgs have a cord and fur fabric in a rust I’ve just brought some and it’s beautiful quality xx
Thanks, I was looking at that fabric last night. It does look lovely 😊
So sorry you were sick. Your skirt looks great to wear with tights and boots in the cold.
Thank you Mary, thanks for watching 😊
I think 1st for fabrics has the cord fabric with Sherpa Adam sews said in his vlog that they had a mustard colour x
Thanks for the tip x
Loved hearing all about your fab Christmas gift projects. The Ilford will be so snuggly in the Sherpa lined fabric 😊x
Aw, thank you. I hope the jacket works out OK! X

The bands would be a good idea to keep everything safe. Thanks for watching

A bit ambitious of me 😆 Thank you, it was very straightforward to make. I hope my little diagram helps explain how I made it.

Thanks Ruth, I'll have a look at Abakhan. I've loved watching your channel 😊
Try guthrie and garnie for your cord/ sherpa. Good luck, it will be amazing.
Thanks Annette, I've already checked there. Higgs and Higgs had something similar but fleece lined.
I think first for fabrics have the cord/sherpa in a burnt orange and mustard. Love your vlogs, thank you for sharing 😊
