I didn’t watch this in one sitting, so have to comment again. I loved the orange on the Long Tall Africa, and I believe that pattern is one that Stephanie at Quilt Addicts Anonymous did on her channel. And the interview with Beth was so interesting! Thanks again!
Thank You for filming this quilt show. I have been a member of this quilt guild for 15 years and moved to another state last fall so I didn’t get to see it in person. I enjoyed your commentary and it as good to see my “peeps”.
I just made my first Log Cabin quilt and love the free pattern from A Quilting Life for a large log cabin block. 18 in square so using scraps would be perfect. Hope you were able to meet Beth Anthony for a quick interview? Would be so fun for you to have a little meet and greet and share with us how she decides on her patterns to quilt all these gorgeous quilts. Thank you for this quilt show video
Iam in Bullard, Tx. And I know where Lompoc, is. In 1-19-1963, I was married in Riverbank, Ca. Now my husband and his brother-law worked for BofA . He worked in Lompoc and was home sick as his wife had not moved there. Guess what we headed down the coast towards Lompoc to visit him. A great honeymoon. 😂😂😂😂😂😂As for my new hubby, we were married 62 before he passed away.
FYI, Mac at 53:40, Not Tula Fabric! That stripe on the binding is Kaffe Fasset's Shot Cotton in stripes which he gets made for him in India. I read an article about it in one of his books. Cotton Shot is yarn-dyed cottons created using two different colors for the weft and warp, giving each color a unique look. Shot cottons tend to be of a slightly lighter weight than quilting cotton fabrics. They can appear blue, green or purple at a distance but up close you can see the two different colors of threads. very very cool
I’m excited my quilt is on you tube. It’s the Taos, the first quilt you see when the video starts.
It's absolutely one of my favorites. Thanks for hanging with me today and sharing your quilt.
A RUclips suggestion! Thank you for this great journey into quilting. Subbing!
Thank you and welcome to my quilty BFF

I love shot cottons and stripes I don't know how I missed that.
Thanks! Don’t know how the name changed; I’m Paula in OKC.
A lot of names changed its so weird.
Very nice
I really enjoyed it
You should make the log cabin straight instead of wonky, that’s the original way to do it.
I might just try that.
Do you still want a panel like that. I may have some... not that fancy
Cherish I wouldn't know what to do with it. I'm always talking about wanting something
Hello 😊
Glad you stopped by.
I made an African fabric theme quilt for my daughter in law. I have a lot left if you are interested
You are too kind, but Im not sure how I want to do this one, and I was just given quite a bit. Thank you so much for your generosity.
For me, the second half of this looked smeared. I couldn't watch Paducah either. I may need a new computer.
I'm at the mercy of internet service when I'm live so it could be me not you.
