It's so important to show up for yourself! this year I'm taking part in the daily doodle diary challenge and attempting to draw everyday, it's been a lot of fun but also very satisfying 🥰
An improvisation on step 1 Focus on one thing"at a time" meaning for eg if you want learn to draw making heads as well as the body 1st decide which one you like and want to do 1st after practicing on 1 thing like the head you should try to focus on making the body and just go back and 4th between the two without caring about doing it perfectly or without mistakes😊
Hi Keshart! Your video was awesome and smart And loved the 3 tips and my favourite is the last tip where you copy to learn and create your own which you already understand the patterns Plus it isn't the first time you said that, you once said that in a video why we can create things in our imagination and not doing that Which was truly my problem where you just give an easy way to fix it Really thank you very much for clearing or lighting our journey of improving our art😊😊😊 And hoping making more fun videos 🥰
I remember ive been following you since 2020, at that time i couldn't even draw stick figure Now i can make details digital illustrations All thanks to you, for keeping me motivated for 4 years through your videos
To all the beginners out there I'm also a beginner Listen First draw some pre existing drawing Luke goku and other When you master those Then start creating your own
Hey kesh , i am your one of the oldest subscribers, and seriously speaking your videos are very helpful and inspiring, i love your art style and your way of creating videos
It's pretty helpful when it's cartoon or anime characters, basically anything that is simplified. The original artist has already done the hard work of learning proportion, and size and so on, so copying something simplified can help you keep things simple in your mind which can in turn help you learn those other things like anatomy and so forth quicker.
i learnt this recently, back when i was 16 i used to try sketch from my imagination, and i sucked at it miserably. imagination sketches did not work at all. the sketches looked horrible. i quit sketching for personal reasons, now that im back(now 20), doing sketches often, i have been taking references from pinterest and the improvement is clearly visible.
I'm currently on day 142 of drawing and I chose cartoons because I've had a book about drawing them for a couple of years now. These 3 things actually make sense and not only because my skill is getting better but it also makes me feel better because I'm getting into a flow like that. Oh, and Mr Bean🔥
Lol, I was the crazy person who started trying to create my own characters and own compositions without knowing what I was doing. 😆 And then I wondered why I kept getting so frustrated. 💀 It saves you a lot of heart ache when you learn the basics first. Or else you'll have to be like me and go back and relearn the basics after years of hiding from it. 😅
Hello kesh! Please read this comment. Though I'm not your subscriber but still I have heard about you from someone on the RUclips itself, and I had watch some of your videos for drawing tutorials and in one of them you told us to break any character or anything into circles and boxes....so I tried it today with a cartoon and I did it pretty good...and as you had said in some another video to repeat the same drawing 10 times, I decided to do that, but without boxes and circle, just imitating the cartoon( just to ensure which method is good, conventional or imitation)...and I made it more better than the previous one, even though I made it for the sake of making it, not with that attention. I just drew it. So I want to know from you why did this happened? The circles and boxes method should be more accurate, shouldn't it? Please reply, I'm learning from youtube only... Please reply, if the boxes and circles method is not that accurate and taking more time too, why would I go with that?
Just Curious, may I ask what do you mean? I'm trying to get better at what I do youtube and most people say that they miss the "old kesh". If you can elaborate a bit, I'd love to know and see how we can improve:)
