I think everybody seems to forget that Felix actually did graphic design years a go. So he already has an eye for shapes, composition and colour usage. That experience definitely shows.
I had no idea about that! Well that explains his excellent use of colors! Hopefully some ppl in the comment section here will see your comment so they stop feeling so bad about not improving as fast as him :]
I remember his photoshop meme videos. Having some graphic design knowledge does translate to drawing sure but I also remember his photoshop skills were pretty limited to thumbnail designs and making meme edits of photos. @@hanat9116yeah true. I didn’t mean that it directly translates or anything. More that he propably already had a keen eye for design. Which does help for sure. In seeing what looks good or not, etc.

I'm not a professional, I'm just someone who enjoys drawing, maybe today even I'll pick up a pencil. Not everything needs to be monetized to enjoy it. That's the trap I fell into with art.
You shouldn't forget that pewdiepie is one of the greatest Artist of all time. Skills like spatial forms, lighting or color theory are the same, or at least similar for film and picture. More over he has lots of photoshop practise. He manly needs to develop the mechanical (pencil) skills.
This. This is so relatable I had an existential crisis because I practiced art for years while pewdiepie has only practiced for 100 days and is better than me. This video inspired me to try my best drawing everyday and having fun with art! :D
Seeing Pewdiepie drawing and recording himself drawing and feeling a bit insecure as to whether or not he’s recording it correctly is surreal, like, he’s doing it amazingly well!
Drawing your dad in the shower is crazy😭 Edit: stop fighting about it. I understand he was a kid and just thought drawing your father in the shower was funny. I didn’t mean it as “that’s weird” I meant “that’s crazy” as in “Lol that’s funny”. I’m not saying he committed a crime or that it was wrong. He was a kid and kids are curious, so quit commenting abt it💀
You gotta remember hes copying though. So what he's really learning is how to copy drawings accurately because everything else is laid our for him like the shapes and the stylization, proportions and everything. The real challenge would be to make an original piece of art with your own references. Referencing other people's art and copying it will always inflate your own skill, but it's good for learning
He's been drawing from reference, from taking pictures of himself, and from memory a lot as he goes along. There are two parts to this video and he talks about it in both.@@kyberkylo7764
@olsirmonkey yea the dedication is very impressive. Also he's using AI art as reference which also helps because AI art is really good with composition and shapes
If pewdiepie, a literal father of children. Can learn to draw so late in life, there is honestly nothing stoppting anyone from learning and doing art 😊
I feel obligated to mention Pedws has years of photoshop experience. I feel it truly pulls trough in his coloring process, his innate understanding of color composition. Adding color leveled his art up so much😍
Seeing this makes me actually wanna commit to art for once. I’ve always liked the idea of being really good at art but I’ve never been able to commit because I’ve never drawn something that I’ve actually liked enough to keep going. I always put myself down for not being perfect on my first go and this is making me motivated to just do 30 days like pewdiepie and just see where it takes me. Perhaps afterwards I’ll do 100 and perhaps more. Wish me luck Edit: day 4 was today and I haven’t been able to put down my pencil. I’m so incredibly happy that I am not only sticking to it but having fun at the same time. I am also learning to live with the imperfections that come with learning to draw, and I am accepting that improvement comes time. More updates to come, and thank you wall for being so supportive, I wish you all the best. Edit 2: its been a while and what I would call the honeymoon phase of my art has worn off. I have hit a rough patch because while I am improving I am having trouble thinking of things to draw. Large amounts of art block and general unmotivation make it very hard to draw each day. I'm trying to go on and hoping that after getting through this phase it will clear the water and drawing will be fun and natural again. Wish me luck I definetly need it.
I feel your struggle I think taking art challenges can be helpful if u like to challenge urself there is monthly art challenges that gives u prompts and themes that could help if u feel like you don't have anything u want to draw or as Sam said u could draw things u like
I've had this reaction too. I've always spent so long on single drawings, and not drawing regularly enough, and wondering why it's hard and I'm not improving. I think seeing his process, struggles and improvement really inspired me to do the same. Keep it simple, and practice makes perfect. I'm on my 8th day so far and enjoying it :D Good luck!
One of my favorite artists defined talent as , “when you like doing something, so you keep doing it”. Whether or not you think that’s “talent”, I think that applies to Pewdiepie and every passionate artist.
Ehh I’d say that description is for passion not talent. I say talent is basically if something comes easier to you. Example is people say I’m talented in art because I progressed fast in my art as apposed to others.
Don't mean to rant but that's just a cherry picked definition, that I feel like someone who gets sensitive really easily would say to themselves as an excuse not to feel bad. I'd more-so agree with JPdraw's definition. Talent is just a simple heads-up against the average person. Everyone's on the race track, but people start at difference places, and those who start further ahead in the track are what I'd call talented. And you can try to ascertain all sorts of causes for it from genetics to experience, but there are many micro causes that add it all up; it's pointless to try and simplify it to a few. When you do something and keep doing it, you're just progressing in the skill same as everyone else. There are many people that are more consistent than those with talent, and so despite not having a headstart; the time they put into it makes up for the result. They get to the point eventually. That's something we all should strive for, instead of shouting it isn't fair that others get starting benefits. Most times this works out anyway, and why "hardwork" is such a strong advocate. That said, it's still possible for those talented to keep consistently running through the race as well. If you draw for 100 days 24/7, and he also draws for 100 days 24/7, he's still going to be ahead. That's just the reality.
You like doing something because it comes easy to you and you can see improvement because you have talent. Talent is aptitude, it’s the talented person will get more improvement from a given amount of practice than an average person. Then we get into a positive feedback loop; it’s easier and you get rewarded (praise, extra attention &c) so you do more and see more improvement.
@@doasitellyouu I mean, people who shout, 'It is not fair that others have talent,' are not entirely wrong. Talented people don't just start further ahead on the 'track'; they learn much quicker than non-talented people. PewDiePie learned drawing in 100 days, while others have taken 5 years and still couldn't reach that level. Talent determines how quickly you learn; it isn't just the y-intercept (or the starting advantage), but also the slope. I think people in the art community vastly underestimate the importance of talent.
This ressonates so much to me and a lot of artist as I've been reading the comments. I recently went through such a breakdown, emotionally and mentally. I've drawed forever and even when I started to post things on the internet, the internet was still a fun place, I think, but the last few years it has drained me so much, the pressure of productivity and algorhitm and all that, my anxiety couldn't keep up, so I stagnated for MONTHS and it felt awful, because I wanted to learn things, but studying was just making it worse. Little by little I've been going back to it, and surely seeing PewDiePie, who I've been following for at least a decade, going on this journey, definitely got me feelings lol Thank you for your words and excitement over this! "Taking your time to draw what's fun to you" is something I had to learn a bad way, but I'm glad I'm here now.
I stopped drawing things I liked in favor of doing commissions, and that made me kinda lazy TBH. Not that those were horrible, but they were different from what I wanted to do. We get things in waves, and right now I'm starting to have a little bit of time to do my own stuff, which makes me very excited. His journey is very inspiring to keep one going, that's for sure. Keep going at it so that inspiration finds you while you're working.
This is wildly motivating for artists who have been in slumps, HE DID SO WELL. Edit: I say this because I’m an artist who hasn’t drawn seriously in like a year due to being busy. I personally don’t see how his fast progress is demotivating as stated by some of the replies, but to each their own.
as an artist His processing is way faster than even people who born with talent, i understand that hes using ai reference or he used to work on photoshop before But that shit is way so fast that it's made alot of artists losing their confidence in drawing.
@@catxray1603I understand that so much. I’ve been wanting that style for YEARS and seeing him get it in days hurts. There is nothing wrong with feeling how you feel, but I hope you realize that everyone's journey in art is unique, and comparing yourself to others only detracts from your own progress and enjoyment. It’s a journey! Not a race.
I like how this was dropped after 1000 art-tubers already did their reactions and commentary for this video, but I am still watching. There's a lot of value hearing various insights from different hobbyists, professionals and the such on general concepts of narrowness of scope, improvement, enjoyment, mediums etc when it comes to the early art improvement journey :)
I have seen a lot of people (on tiktok, his video etc) say that well he has time to draw. He is rich so he can afford lessons, and he has time etc. He is very busy, and he is also a father with other obligations. He is being very transparent with how his process was in the video, so it is not anything different from what your average person could do. He has a graphics design degree, which probably helped, and his time editing thumbnails/videos has probably given him an eye for how colors work. These things doesn't lessen the fact of what he accomplished. I think he should be very proud, and is a great example that anyone can do it if they set aside 10 minutes every day. Find the references/style you want to use, and just get drawing.
I love your commentaries on Felix’s art journey! I was one of those people inspired by him to start drawing everyday and I think it would be awesome if you could make a video breaking down how he did things, how to draw in that style with the proper per portions, and give more pointers. Thank you and loved this vid ❤️
This might genuinely make me cry. I just gave a bunch of entrance exams to get into college for animation and I have been burnt out. I keep noting new ideas and new designs, but I stay away from drawing. The last time I tried to draw left me feeling even worse because of how much I had deteriorated, and seeing someone get better in just a few days of practice hurt me and inspired me at the same time. I knew the biggest problem I had was not letting myself express my ideas even during the exams. I wasn't having FUN. They really just wanted what I could offer but I restricted myself to give answers that I thought they wanted. It's going to take a while to pick up my pencil again and feel confident about it, but I hope I can do it soon. I have so many ideas that I want to put down.
@@deltadoodlesit is and the feeling of creating a masterpiece or a good drawing in general is SO SATISFYING But it's also a down side cuz you're gonna hate alot on your non good drawings
@@userisfree Yeah, hating your drawings is something every artist goes through. But I think the best thing to do when you hate your art, is to just keep going! Analyze what you don't like about your "bad" art, and maybe watch a tutorial or two to learn how to draw it better! :D
Honestly this was really inspiring to see. I have always enjoyed drawing, but I haven't really committed to learning and improving. After seeing this, it makes me really want to commit to practicing and hopefully get somewhere :)
that end comment really hit, it's so easy to get caught up in following certain ways of doing stuff that it's easy to forget why YOU enjoy it. I definitely needed to hear that. :)
I love how encouraging you are and I am very unforgiving on myself to practice but .. I just wanna commit and have fun with it! Not for a career but for something I can keep improving on
"Draw what you love and make it fun" is probably the best advice. I was trying to draw for a while, barely making progress. I was getting frustrated at the pace i was improving. One day i just decided, im just going to draw portraits of kpop idols. I made so much progress after that. It became fun and i was enjoying myself. I have about 20-30 minutes a day to practice if im lucky, but the progress is apparent, and i dont feel like im wasting my free time because im loving what im doing.
Watching him remind me of my old self, I was there not knowing anything about drawing and has no talent whatsoever and the only drive I have is the admiration towards a friend who can draw like a God despite being my age. It just took me 3 months with dedication to grasp how to draw something that actually will look good. God I really love that feeling of "is this real?" , I can really relate to pewd's story of hitting the gym. It doesn't matter when you start it, the only thing that matter is starting and dedication.
This whole thing with Pewdiepie made me inspired to attempt this myself. Been wanting to try drawing for a couple years now and just always talked myself out of trying.
I've been trying to push myself back into learning how to draw properly. I used to enjoy it a lot when I was a kid - and I was pretty decent for my age. It's a struggle - to maintain the discipline, and consistency required to just have that natural progression. It's a struggle to know what I should be studying, whether I should be studying or simply just practicing. It's a struggle to even remember to draw. A big issue for me, I think, is that I'm not sure what i want to draw, nor how I can directly improve. I've spent too much time playing video games, where the path forward is always clear cut, where progress is measured out and quantified, and your goal is always easy to envision. Anyway, thanks for the video Sam. While this was a pretty depressing cry for attention, ultimately, I do want to draw. In general. I want to be able to put pen pencil to paper and be proud of what I've made. I want to create something for the pleasure of creating it. I DO want to draw. Back to the grind. Thanks for the reminder to keep up with my daily routine.
Sam, i know this video is about pewdiepie, but seeing your art (and definitely not because i wasnt seeing improvement) i have decided to move to digital drawing from 6 months of traditional drawing, you motivated me, and I just wanna say thanks!
It's crazy how quickly one can improve when you do it a little bit every day and stick with it. I started taking drawing "seriously" around September 2016. I saw a super fast time-lapse video process of one of Kuvshinov's pieces, and that prompted me to download the video and watch it frame by frame to study his process and layer effects and apply that to one of my drawings. After that, I drew almost daily (sometimes once a week) for 2 years. I eventually started doing commissions after posting on Artstation. :)
How long did it take you to reach the level that PewDiePie has reached ? I'm just curious whether 100 days is normal or if PewDiePie is exceptionally good at learning
Man I’m so proud of Felix. He’s brought me so much happiness and still does. So it makes me happy to see him doing something he genuinely enjoys. and as someone also studying art, it makes me even prouder to see his progress! I also wanted to mention this to people that are feeling down at his progress. you have to keep in mind, Felix is basically retired. He has TONS of time to practice. It’s unfair to compare yourself to him really. But also..some people just learn and retain information better than others. That’s just a fact. so, please don’t be discouraged. Just keep drawing if it makes you happy. ❤
I love just how genuinely happy you are for his progress! I may not draw, but I write and many of the same ideas apply. Especially practice. I look back at what I wrote a few years ago or even last year and can actually see the progress I've made. Plus I find a lot of what you say can apply to other areas in life in general. I always love when you upload a new video, and you've honestly helped me feel much better about the things I do. Maybe one day I'll try drawing again, between you and Bob Ross it looks like so much fun.
It’s soo sweet because he reminds me of myself a few years ago and thanks to you Sam I’ve really learned how to be super confident in my art and constantly improve and improve:))
Thank you Sam, I really love drawing birds and animals but it always seems like unless I can draw people I’m not good at art but your talk at the end really made me feel proud of my abilities.
Just draw anything that you enjoy drawing and maybe once in a while, try drawing faces or maybe do art challenges for yourself. Other than that, make sure you're having fun along the way and try not to be harsh on yourself.
thanks a lot sam always love your advice...motivatws me to draw again...i stopped because i stopped enjoying...but that reminder is really needed...im gonna make sure to drill it in my brain
Hi SamDoesArts, i just want to say that I have been watching your videos for a couple of years and when I see them I am always inspired to draw something. Thank you so much. 👍😊
I was also as surprised when I watched the vid he was consistent and I loved that as someone who lacks consistency I was so amazed and Sam u also make our days in case u didn't know thank you
his art journey has brought my motivation back to improve as someone whose been drawing for ages but just havent been improving in a solid few years, it made me quit as i just felt like it was pointless but his video genuinelly inspired me to pick up a pencil again
i saw this comment in another vids One insight on his coloring, he studied graphic design for a couple years and he used to participate in photoshop contests iirc, he is very good with it so i'm sure that's where he was instantly good and understood shade and lighting. Some people do have a natural instinct and understanding from consuming a lot of media too, but pewds has a little bit of background at stuff like coloring
What you said at 9:30 about "too much consumption of information" is exactly why standard art classes or lessons etc never ever got me through learning art, I always gave up because it just simply wasn't fun. I wasn't having fun learning to draw perfect boxes or circles or shading an apple or drawing a tree, it wasn't what I WANTED to draw so I never learned, after watching the pewds video I've found alot of different people active in the art community and its made it so much more fun and I have improved exponentially already because of it, People forget that learning should be fun because it usually isnt which sucks because its the MOST important part. Everything sticks better in your brain when its fun
I love how he returned the favour and inspired others at the end of his video, he seemed to be really touched by the encouragement from the community 😢❤
I think the main things that are not talked about and have hand in making his (pretty simple) drawings look good that fast are two things you might not have if you are struggling: confidence (it makes incredible difference) and being an enterntainer (thinking about what will look cool, not just sitting and drawing absent-mindely). The rest is good feedback, and working towards a goal. And also all of the grown-ups I've taught learned a lot faster than kids, but it might have been my bubble. My husband was able to grasp in two hours what took me months back in middle school. I was self-taught from deviantArt back then, and he had a teacher in me, but still. I was really serious back then, while he was just humouring me. I strongly believe that just drawing everyday can do more bad than good, esp if you do not know what you're doing, just like any other form of exercise, and I'm afraid people will get the wrong lesson out of this story. And end up burned out with their mistakes deepened to muscle memory, possibly with lowered self esteem. Why? I've done it multiple times myself, because I'm addicted to creating. It took years of drawing and about 16 semesters of formal art education (and one mental hospital visit) before I've gotten a system that doesn't make it worse for me.
It is so true: you need to enjoy art to find your style and improve. And he's doing just that. I experienced it first hand, because I was a child of an artist, and showed interest, that when people try to push you to monetize it, it becomes a chore, a burden and you will never be good enough. I was pushed to the same school my mom went to, pushed to be an artists and that killed the joy. After a few years of hiatus I started up again with the sole purpose of creating for myself. I still have that feeling of "make it perfect" so now I'm practicing having just sketches.
I've been learning how to draw for over a year now, I've found it relaxing and therapeutic to draw out how I feel/felt at that moment though as of recently I've kinda put it off since i went to college. I will probably get back at it at my last year since I'd have more free time by then and I'd probably be rusty again... that's the fun of it for me I guess, the feeling you get when you know you improved on something you were bad at is really amazing! I hope everyone here will have a wonderful day!!❤❤
to anyone comparing themselves, STOP comparing urselves, he has drawing skills before youtube, he’s just regaining them after not drawing for a while, im an OG fan i know this, thumbs up for ppl to see & not feel crap abt themselves
I got the "fraud" feeling too. I even had a breakdown last year. I spent almost a year from drawing, especially portraits because i wanted to focus on studies. Pass my exam but it was then difficult to get back into art. I couldn’t even freely draw portraits like I used to, techniques i developed, gone. It was very frustrating. Like I used to draw portraits every day or every orher day. . I cried to myself, questioning if I'm really an artist or a fraud. So i started over. I took a break from big portraits and got a sketchbook and focused on small scale art to get back into the art mindset. Focus on head angles and facial features because im self taught and used to just focus on just finishing and copying the portraits references. So now im practicing sketching facial features, head angles, body poses,
I absolutely love to see other people have the same reaction I had watching PewDiePie's drawing video - pure clean old time happiness, it makes you smile genuinely and this is someting a lot of us need in this world right now, just a genuine smile and a little bit of pure old happiness, a morning to be made. or a week. or a month :)
I would say I'm an intermediate drawer, after 3 years of drawing at lest once a week. The only thing I don't like is faces but I LOVE doing dragond and I've gotten really good at them. I want to eventually become a proffesional and make art my job but I only dre=aw for fun right now.

"One of the most inspiring thing I've seen in a long time" You're so correct, I've always wanted to draw, and 3 years ago I started researching videos to learn and practice, but I would always avoid actually drawing, I was putting myself down, but seeing how much Pewdiepie could do finally got me started, and it feels good!

Yeah for me i want to work as an animator and make my own characters, and you have really inspired me to draw in animations and i really love your work its really inspiring🥹🥹
Why people are suprise?Art never was about talent but about skills.Thats it.If you learn about anatomy, shadows, objects and perspective then it should be easy. And he draw daily so his memory skills are better then people who draw just once in week.
I really love your Videos. Always get so inspiried and get fired up to do more art and keep going. Its so wholesome. Without this kind of content being an artist would be so much darker and frustrating and Lonely. So thank you :3!
So for someone who needs a bit of hand holding... are there resources or guides I could follow? I feel like I need to start from 0 but I have no idea where or how to start. I feel like I need structured exercises as sometimes I just dont know what to practice. Any help would be appreciated.

Large amounts of art block and general unmotivation make it very hard to draw each day. I'm trying to go on and hoping that after getting through this phase it will clear the water and drawing will be fun and natural again. Wish me luck I definetly need it.
Good luck!! 💕
Good luck, man!!
Damn i thought i was the only one
You can like doing something and not have discipline or confidence.
The progress is actually incredible.
I've found out drawings smiles and happy faces is what makes me enjoy art 09:56
Relatable!
He really improved a lot! I feel motivated to draw again :DD
Little by little I've been going back to it, and surely seeing PewDiePie, who I've been following for at least a decade, going on this journey, definitely got me feelings lol
Thank you for your words and excitement over this!
He did so incredibly well past expectations that it's kinda demotivating somehow.
as an artist His processing is way faster than even people who born with talent, i understand that hes using ai reference or he used to work on photoshop before But that shit is way so fast that it's made alot of artists losing their confidence in drawing.
@@thisisfine6635it’s not his fault though 😭. I feel he was trying to be wholesome and just learning how to draw.
Not a race.
Let me join the festivity. Busy. No time to draw. Goodbye!
10:24 Funny enough, I found you through Pewdiepie's 365 days drawing video :D This is a really good video! Bravo :)
Cant wait for him to watch it especially after he said join the dark side
Exactly. It's not rocket science, just a lot of practice.
I love your commentaries on Felix’s art journey! I was one of those people inspired by him to start drawing everyday and I think it would be awesome if you could make a video breaking down how he did things, how to draw in that style with the proper per portions, and give more pointers. Thank you and loved this vid ❤️
The fact he is actually developing his own style already and it’s just the cutest!!!
God I was waiting for this reaction ❤ thank you
This might genuinely make me cry. I have so many ideas that I want to put down.
man, i might pick up drawing after seeing pwed's progress-
If you do, then good luck! Art is wonderful!! :]
@@deltadoodlesit is and the feeling of creating a masterpiece or a good drawing in general is SO SATISFYING
But it's also a down side cuz you're gonna hate alot on your non good drawings
for a beginner this is literally insane! im glad hes into drawing and hope he grows
bruh how did u get here so fast? oh my days, thats actually amazing. i-
"art is a wonderful lifelong pursuit of pain" too real
I love how encouraging you are and I am very unforgiving on myself to practice but .. I just wanna commit and have fun with it! Not for a career but for something I can keep improving on
Sam has this permanent proud smile this whole video! Ahh...I have many people to thank for good motivation. Thank you!
He did join the dark side. 😭 Lol who's here after the 1 year PewDiePie art video
I need to see the two of you collaborate and you teach him your drawing techniques
I've been waiting for you to react to this since it came out, this is great!
The kooleen callout 😂 but damn PewDiePie's video, it's so inspiring 😊
what was the context behind that tho? 😅
@@corvair5454 because she's always calling him out in her videos and claiming Sam to be her rival.
seeing the guy from my childhood start learning to draw is so inspiring and it makes me think i'm gonna improve as much as him
This whole thing with Pewdiepie made me inspired to attempt this myself. Been wanting to try drawing for a couple years now and just always talked myself out of trying.
Maybe try drawing for a day
The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is now.
Sam, i know this video is about pewdiepie, but seeing your art (and definitely not because i wasnt seeing improvement) i have decided to move to digital drawing from 6 months of traditional drawing, you motivated me, and I just wanna say thanks!
this is so awesome!! i absolutely love seeing people pick up art, stick with it and see so much improvement. i’m so proud
always love seeing people commit to art 🥰
Yeah and it definitely deserves it 100%
Art is underrated and really fun once you do it
But It's also comes with a lot of pain and suffering
Good stuff! Never stop arting!! Everyone! That means you!! ^^
This was so awesome and encouraging. Made my whole day too!
Been drawing everyday for 4 years now and it is like I caught up on time lost and improved so much. Great video, love seeing this!
He is why I started learning, I started when I saw his second drawing video and now I'm trying to learn as well.
I was waiting for exactly THAT video! Thanks :D
I was actually waiting for this video
I was also as surprised when I watched the vid he was consistent and I loved that as someone who lacks consistency I was so amazed and Sam u also make our days in case u didn't know thank you
his art journey has brought my motivation back to improve as someone whose been drawing for ages but just havent been improving in a solid few years, it made me quit as i just felt like it was pointless but his video genuinelly inspired me to pick up a pencil again
i saw this comment in another vids
One insight on his coloring, he studied graphic design for a couple years and he used to participate in photoshop contests iirc, he is very good with it so i'm sure that's where he was instantly good and understood shade and lighting. Some people do have a natural instinct and understanding from consuming a lot of media too, but pewds has a little bit of background at stuff like coloring
You smiling the entire reaction was so cute, amazing video Sam 🥰 and congrats to PewDiePie! 🥳
Was waiting for this reaction video!! His improvement is Insane
Saw that he released a video but haven't watched it yet. Now I can watch 2 creators I like at the same time.
I love how he returned the favour and inspired others at the end of his video, he seemed to be really touched by the encouragement from the community 😢❤
"i know hes never gonna see this video" think again sam you got a cameo in his year update
I hope everyone here will have a wonderful day!!❤❤
I got motivated to study somehow. WHAAAT?
to anyone comparing themselves, STOP comparing urselves, he has drawing skills before youtube, he’s just regaining them after not drawing for a while, im an OG fan i know this, thumbs up for ppl to see & not feel crap abt themselves
Wait till he see his new video and actually got a ipad
So now im practicing sketching facial features, head angles, body poses,
you ever get it when you lose motivation for a drawing? well, as soon as i watch Sam i swear my motivation 📈
Well you're not the only one
Was never a PDP fan, but grats to him branching out and trying new things.
I wish him the best of luck.
While being a dad too
Props to him
waiting for 365 days video
5:11 "We have the same pencil by the way". THANK YOU!! I've been trying to find that same pen thingymagiggy for so long!
bruh ive been drawing for LITERALLY my whole entire life and PewDiePie, a frickin youtuber who started drawing like not even 4 months ago rlly just started drawing better than me-
all jokes aside tho, SLAYY FELIX!!! that is so frickin cool, you definitely have talent and the art community is proud of ya!
he’s probably way more consistent than you then lol. Also he focused on one thing the entire time
Chill@@DONTTOUCHTHEGRASSIMALLERGIC they weren't even throwing shade, click the "show more" in the comment. It's also harder than it seems to remain so consistently focused
Too be fair, he never has to worry about money for the rest of his life... i know I would improve a whole lot if I i didn't have to worry about a job
"One of the most inspiring thing I've seen in a long time"
You're so correct, I've always wanted to draw, and 3 years ago I started researching videos to learn and practice, but I would always avoid actually drawing, I was putting myself down, but seeing how much Pewdiepie could do finally got me started, and it feels good!
6:03 "JOIN THE DARK SIDE" is killing me
I’m learning how to dance and your advice was so helpful for me In terms of learning the technical side of things but also remembering why I wanted to dance in the first place
Pewds mentioned you on his new video!
THE FINAL ADVICE! YES! I knew that for a long time, but literally NOBODY talked about that! It's so important!
I'm happy that someone with that much reach like Sam said it.
Thanks, dude.
Holy HOWWWW. Bro took 100 days and got SO FREAKING GOOD and is WAY BETTER THAN ME I’ve been drawing for like- *3* *YEARS* WHAT
Also HWO DOES HE COLOR WITH MARKERS!?
I think every professional artists uses markers at this point.
this helped me to remind myself to enjoy art more, and also made me to really pick up my pen and draw. However it’s late here so i’ll have to take a go at it tomorrow and we’ll see where i end up.
It’s really about time to have fun with art and not just nitpicking myself and putting me down all of the time, thank you and pewdiepie for reminding me of this
GL and make sure you're having fun along the way and try not to be harsh on yourself
Practice helps but damn he's a natural
I remember how he used to talk about being super poor starting out and saving up for photoshop and taking graphic design commissions. He's just trying a different type of art :)
SAM HE DROPPED A 356 DAY DRAWING CHALLENGE WATCH IT WATCH IT WATCH ITTT
Yeah for me i want to work as an animator and make my own characters, and you have really inspired me to draw in animations and i really love your work its really inspiring🥹🥹
Im so surprised at how much he improved and also
no jumpscare in the outro??!!
He studied graphic design which definitely helped in the long run.
did graphic design, has years of experience with photoshop
THIS IS good, as he has lots of followers, people will be more into art :)
“Ofcurse you can draw you’re not a fraud PewDiePie, your not Koolen” 💀
💀💀
Why people are suprise?Art never was about talent but about skills.Thats it.If you learn about anatomy, shadows, objects and perspective then it should be easy. And he draw daily so his memory skills are better then people who draw just once in week.
His intros keep on getting better each time😂😂
I think everybody seems to forget that Felix actually did graphic design years a go.
Pewdie drawing for under a 100 days and better than me who has been drawing for 4 years💀
I really love your Videos. Always get so inspiried and get fired up to do more art and keep going. Its so wholesome. Without this kind of content being an artist would be so much darker and frustrating and Lonely. So thank you :3!
So for someone who needs a bit of hand holding... are there resources or guides I could follow? I have a few sketchpads filled with drawabox exercises but I have no idea how to apply any of that or how to move on. I tried copying everything from TACO's books but its just not sticking... I feel like I need to start from 0 but I have no idea where or how to start.
I feel like I need structured exercises as sometimes I just dont know what to practice.
Any help would be appreciated.
Now this is making me want to get back into drawing I remember I used to be so into learning to draw but got unmotivated but maybe it’s time to get back
