@@Philo-z2m It takes time to learn the art of the brushpen. I write fairly heavy-handed, and I got a brushpen to learn a bit of control. It also takes patience, so just try to slow down a bit and enjoy yourself
@@yamigekusu Exactly, I'm quite heavy handed too, and I've only used a brushpen for one year now... My lines are still pretty uneven, but stll, I can really see the progress I made. ^^

I have some tips if your a beginner artist. 1 - Get a sketchbook that is medium size so even if you are a beginner or a hardcore artist, you can adjust the size by just drawing lines. I suggest camlin drawing book. 2- Just sit down for some time and think of ideas to draw and write them on top of your page, if you don't know anything try seeing pinterest or Moriah Elizabeth create this book flip through. 3- Try spending time to think how your art will you make before sketching out, this will not waste your time and energy. 4- Try different art styles to see how things turn out. Also, try different colors and shades.

Can't get your hands on a sketchbook? You can make yourself one with needle, thread, and printer paper. Can't get your hands on needle or thread? You can get yourself a folder, draw on individual sheets of paper, and stash them in the folder.

And here's my tip for "learning how to see" that I am passing on. In my earlier stages of drawing, when I was trying to copy something or draw from memory, I was so focused on what the thing looked like or the end product. Once I learned how to look at things like, relationships of lines to other shapes, shadow, etc, my drawing improved incredibly. One way to teach people how to "learn to see" in drawing, is practice drawing common things upside down. I think my first attempt was I turned a pic of a horse upside down and forgot what a "horse" looked like, and Ill be darned if it wasn't the best horse I ever drew.
