At 5:47 it’s Jonghyun 😊 SHINee is a 5 member group, from hyung to maknae it’s Onew (Jinki), Jonghyun, Key (Kibum), Minho and Taemin they’re under Sm and they debuted in 2008 (they made their 12 anniversary this year). SHINee is a very famous group, one of the first groups to open Kpop to the world and not only South Korea. They’re literally trendsetters, they influenced so many groups and they made so many idols debut like Taehyun from TXT, Haechan and Jungwoo from NCT and many more that I don’t have in my head now. They literally shaped the Kpop that exist today, they raised the standard and if Kpop is that hard and exigent nowadays it’s mostly because of them. If you want an exemple SHINee created dance practice video and hard choreos, after they did that everyone started doing that. They are legends, they’re from the best vocalist (all members are vocalists) to ever exist and their rap line is so underrated but so good (Minho and Key) for now the group isn’t active since 2/5 members are doing the military service, our leader Onew just cameback from it officially the 20 of this month. Taemin the maknae has continued has a soloist those last 2 years and as a group with SuperM (btw he’s really excited for SHINee’s comeback !!). The 2 other members will be back by the end of the year (November and October). Their latest comeback was in 2018 with The Story Of Light. Their debut song is Replay. You can also check the members solo, Onew Key Taemin and Jonghyun have solo albums and unfortunately Minho only has a solo song. One of the most iconic and impactful groups of Kpop as a whole. SHINee was actually one of the very first Kpop groups to release dance practice videos for their songs, and all groups started following in their footsteps afterwards, making dance practice vidoes the norm. They set trends in the Kpop industry and in Korea in general with their music and fashion statements. They are always very experimental with their music and it seems like very single genre fits them. They also have many groups that look up to them and still have a huge Fanbase and impact in Korea. They’re 2nd Gen legends. And their members are starting to come back from military service (Taemin, the youngest and also a soloist is the only one who hasn’t enrolled in the military yet) so the group will be whole again very soon!!!! Us Shawols are so happy to have the boys back!
SHINee are known as the princes of kpop. They've started a lot of trends which we see in today's kpop, such as dance practice videos, bright outfits with skinny coloured jeans, etc... the only thing they can't do is lip sync, so they practiced running while singing and because of that they can perform upbeat choreographies like this live without straining themselves or their voices falling flat. If you know EXO, then you know how good of vocalists they are, well, the members of SHINee actually were mentors to a lot of the EXO members and they helped coach them in their singing. The EXO members and SHINee members are all around the same age and they were in the same trainee classes together, and yet SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO. I just started getting into SHINee a few months ago. I’m a late KPOP fan but love 2nd and early 3rd gen groups. I knew what happened with Jonghyun (and his story hits a little too close to home for me) so I was a little hesitant but man are they worth getting into. Like many have said, there is no one video to get their true sound as it’s their voices and not the style of song that makes it SHINee (does that make sense.) Definitely check their first song Replay and then their biggest hits Lucifer, Sherlock, and View. Tell Me What To Do is another personal favorite. They also have AMAZING live performances from their tours that are all over RUclips. They and Infinite (along with GOT7) are absolutely my top guy groups.
In their 13 years of career SHINee has done sooo many genres not only this dubstep genre. Whatever genre they did they always exceeded my expectations! R&B? Did it. Deep house? The first one in kpop to do it. New jack swings? Yeppp. My personal fav are Replay, Love like oxygen, 1of1, Married to the Music

SHINee (legends of Kpop), contemporary RnB artists, all members are vocals and dancers, known as the Princes of Kpop, and dope/fire/lit when it comes to live performances, they aren't just Kpop artists, but also Jpop artists (all members are fluent in Japanese language), all Japan Dome concerts with 50k attendees capacity were always sold out that's why they need to have atleast 2-3 nights concert in a row just to accommodate more fans who want to see them live. TBH, especially today (since this dubstep style was obviously much more trendy back then), I dont enjoy that style of song anymore either. But like, for a lot of music, sometimes the quality just overpowers your personal preference. Shinee is nothing if not quality. Incredible vocals, amazing dancing, Shinee are my favorite 2nd gen boy group for a reason. (The only thing they didnt really have was an amazing rapper, but Key and Minho did just fine and Shinee didnt really need rapping all that often. I promise, it doesnt detract from their music at all). If any 2nd gen boy group is worth your time to do a full run through, imo its Shinee (Big Bang are also up there, for good reason. If Big Bang are the Kings, Shinee are the Princes.) For me personally Shinee just had more songs that hit with me. Their discography is fantastic, including their b sides.
I agree Big Bang is another 2nd gen group I'm impressed with.. I actually prefer Key and Minho's rap for SHINee songs because they really knew how to tailor each of their rap to fit each of SHINee's songs.. I've seen a number of covers of SHINee songs made by other kpop groups that have what others considered better rappers, but the rap part by those better rappers just sounded like every other raps I've heard many times.. it's not easy too for someone with lisp like Minho to rap, but he did a great job for his part.

My favourite Shinee song is "tell me what to do" Jonghyuns vocals always give me chills in every song but for some reason more so in this one. SHINee is a 5 member group, from hyung to maknae it’s Onew (Jinki), Jonghyun, Key (Kibum), Minho and Taemin they’re under Sm and they debuted in 2008 (they made their 12 anniversary this year). SHINee is a very famous group, one of the first groups to open Kpop to the world and not only South Korea. They’re literally trendsetters, they influenced so many groups and they made so many idols debut like Taehyun from TXT, Haechan and Jungwoo from NCT and many more that I don’t have in my head now. They literally shaped the Kpop that exist today, they raised the standard and if Kpop is that hard and exigent nowadays it’s mostly because of them. If you want an exemple SHINee created dance practice video and hard choreos, after they did that everyone started doing that. They are legends, they’re from the best vocalist (all members are vocalists) to ever exist and their rap line is so underrated but so good (Minho and Key) for now the group isn’t active since 2/5 members are doing the military service, our leader Onew just cameback from it officially the 20 of this month. Taemin the maknae has continued has a soloist those last 2 years and as a group with SuperM (btw he’s really excited for SHINee’s comeback !!). The 2 other members will be back by the end of the year (November and October).
Their latest comeback was in 2018 with The Story Of Light. Their debut song is Replay. You can also check the members solo, Onew Key Taemin and Jonghyun have solo albums and unfortunately Minho only has a solo song.
Btw SHINee members were between 14 and 18 years old when they debuted so they still very young, the oldest is 30 and the youngest is 27.

One of the most iconic and impactful groups of Kpop as a whole. SHINee was actually one of the very first Kpop groups to release dance practice videos for their songs, and all groups started following in their footsteps afterwards, making dance practice vidoes the norm. They set trends in the Kpop industry and in Korea in general with their music and fashion statements. They are always very experimental with their music and it seems like very single genre fits them. They also have many groups that look up to them and still have a huge Fanbase and impact in Korea. They’re 2nd Gen legends. And their members are starting to come back from military service (Taemin, the youngest and also a soloist is the only one who hasn’t enrolled in the military yet) so the group will be whole again very soon!!!! Us Shawols are so happy to have the boys back!

They've started a lot of trends which we see in today's kpop, such as dance practice videos, bright outfits with skinny coloured jeans, etc... the only thing they can't do is lip sync, so they practiced running while singing and because of that they can perform upbeat choreographies like this live without straining themselves or their voices falling flat. In "Everybody" SHinee are supposed to be toy soldiers and they get their energy and power from the fans. So all the moves and everything you see, including the way they are dressed, is supposed to remind you of how a toy solider would look and move. Their fans power them up and that's why in the beginning they wake up from the floor and in the end they run out of energy and they disengage and fall back down to the floor to wait for the fans to come and power them back up again.
In the middle of the performance, where they come together and create that picture in their dance, they are supposed to look like an airplane, that's why Onew spins his arms round really fast like the propeller of a plane.
The plane has to do with the fact that they are soldiers and they are depicting a scene from a battle during the Korean war.

(Onew just turned 30 this past December) SHINee are some of the most well respected artists in the industry.
The group is currently on hiatus right now because 3 of the members are/were fulfilling their military obligations.
Onew (Pronounced Oh-New, real name Lee JinKi) is the leader of the group and he has one of the most unique and best vocals in the industry. His vocals are unmatched. He even holds the record (40+ seconds) for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch. His record still stands today.
Onew was just released from the military a little over a week ago. While in the military he was a member of the military's promotional team so he spent a lot of time as a stage actor alongside several other idols who are also serving in the military right now.
Jonghyun is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop who was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Jonghyun wrote and composed over 40% of SHINee's songs, plus he wrote all of his own solo songs and numerous songs for other artists such as EXO's "Playboy" and songs for Taemin, IU and Lee HI, etc., as well as participated in several movie and drama OSTs. He was one of the only SM artists to be given complete artistic control over his work, including several of SHINee's song selections. SM knew that if Jonghyun was involved in any way that the song would be a hit. He was extremely respected within the industry as a songwriter, composer and singer.
As the main vocalist, Jonghyun is the one you hear with all the amazing high notes and R&B runs and ad libs most of the time.
Key is our diva and fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment with their sound or look, so Key is known for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. He is known for always being unique and wanting to standout. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also known as SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized.
He is also SHINee's fluent English speaker, and he is almost as good as a native speaker. Key is serving in the military right now as well. He is part of the military band.

Minho is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. Minho is one of the top actors in the industry and he has starred in numerous dramas and movies. Minho is also known as a top athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes to work out. but he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc,, as well. And not only does he enjoy playing all those sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma," and one reason is for his intense passion for sports and his need to always win.
He currently is serving in the military and is a member of an elite branch of the Marines.

And as you probably now know, Taemin is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry and that's not just by fans but by everyone in the industry, both young and old. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson. From the very beginning, even at 14 years old, Taemin was known as one of the best dancers in the industry, and you will soon discover with the more that you watch from SHINee and Taemin's solo work that he has only gotten more magnificent over the years. Taemin truly is art when it comes to his performances.
SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Once you get to know them better you will wonder how it was even possible that you couldn't tell them apart. SHINee are known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They are known as CD-quality singers because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. SHINee always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. They have trained their entire career to be able to sing live and always sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography. You really should check out some of their live performances because their stages are like none other. Their concerts last 3 to 4 hours straight and they perform nonstop and never sound out of tune or out of breath. They also have some of the best harmonies you will ever hear. If you know EXO, then you know how good of vocalists they are, well, the members of SHINee actually were mentors to a lot of the EXO members and they helped coach them in their singing. The EXO members and SHINee members are all around the same age and they were in the same trainee classes together, and yet SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO. So, that just goes to show you a little bit of what makes SHINee so amazing and why they are considered legends.

I just started getting into SHINee a few months ago. I’m a late KPOP fan but love 2nd and early 3rd gen groups. I knew what happened with Jonghyun (and his story hits a little too close to home for me) so I was a little hesitant but man are they worth getting into. Like many have said, there is no one video to get their true sound as it’s their voices and not the style of song that makes it SHINee (does that make sense.) Definitely check their first song Replay and then their biggest hits Lucifer, Sherlock, and View. Tell Me What To Do is another personal favorite. They also have AMAZING live performances from their tours that are all over RUclips. They and Infinite (along with GOT7) are absolutely my top guy groups.

SHINee (legends of Kpop), contemporary RnB artists, all members are vocals and dancers, known as the Princes of Kpop, and dope/fire/lit when it comes to live performances, they aren't just Kpop artists, but also Jpop artists (all members are fluent in Japanese language), all Japan Dome concerts with 50k attendees capacity were always sold out that's why they need to have atleast 2-3 nights concert in a row just to accommodate more fans who want to see them live. Epic!

TBH, especially today (since this dubstep style was obviously much more trendy back then), I dont enjoy that style of song anymore either. But like, for a lot of music, sometimes the quality just overpowers your personal preference. Shinee is nothing if not quality. Incredible vocals, amazing dancing, Shinee are my favorite 2nd gen boy group for a reason. (The only thing they didnt really have was an amazing rapper, but Key and Minho did just fine and Shinee didnt really need rapping all that often. I promise, it doesnt detract from their music at all).
If any 2nd gen boy group is worth your time to do a full run through, imo its Shinee (Big Bang are also up there, for good reason. If Big Bang are the Kings, Shinee are the Princes.) For me personally Shinee just had more songs that hit with me. Their discography is fantastic, including their b sides.

I actually prefer Key and Minho's rap for SHINee songs because they really knew how to tailor each of their rap to fit each of SHINee's songs.. I've seen a number of covers of SHINee songs made by other kpop groups that have what others considered better rappers, but the rap part by those better rappers just sounded like every other raps I've heard many times.. it's not easy too for someone with lisp like Minho to rap, but he did a great job for his part.

the blonde you asked who he was with the vocals is Jonghyun.. sadly he passed away a few years ago.. and shinee (yes said like shiny) is now 4. it's hard. he has a BEAUTIFUL voice and it is dearly missed. it's hard to listen to some songs without getting teary eyed thinking too much.

Shinee is an amazing group! they are wonderful and I have been a fan since 2008 and their name is like Shiny ... Jonghyun, Minho, Onew, Key and our baby Taemin
