They stable at both singing and dancing, which is AMAZING. In "Everybody" SHINee are supposed to be toy soldiers and they get their energy and power from the fans. So all the moves and everything you see, including the way they are dressed, is supposed to remind you of how a toy solider would look and move. Their fans power them up and that's why in the beginning they wake up from the floor and in the end they run out of energy and they disengage and fall back down to the floor to wait for the fans to come and power them back up again. In the middle of the performance, where they come together and create that picture in their dance, they are supposed to look like an airplane, that's why Onew spins his arms round really fast like the propeller of a plane. The plane has to do with the fact that they are soldiers and they are depicting a scene from a battle during the Korean War. Jonghyun is the main vocalist of SHINee and when it comes to high notes, the majority of the time it will be him. However, in "Everybody" Jonghyun, Onew, Taemin and Key all have high notes at different moments in the song. Because you watched the Tokyo Dome concert version of "Everybody" this was the Japanese version of the song. SHINee are just as popular as Japanese artists as they are Kpop stars and they are all fluent in Japanese. They have just as many Japanese albums and songs as they do Korean songs. So when they hold concerts in Japan the concert is almost entirely in Japanese and they don't even need translators when they interact with the audience. So the dance practice was the Korean version and the live was their Japanese version. You should really check out their performance of "Everybody" from their SWC4 in Seoul. The video quality and sound is so much better in that performance and you can see everything so much better. Unfortunately, because of the low lighting and smoke at this concert, I think you missed out on a lot of their iconic performance. Everytime SHINee performs the performance is a little different. They always make each performance special, so you never get bored no matter how many times you have heard a song or have seen them perform. :D Fun fact: As the fashionista of the group Key often collaborates with their stylists and comes up with their outfits for their concerts and MVs. Their outfits in this performance were designed by Key.
What uplifts that live performance even more is the fact that they are singing live, SHINee can't lip sync even if their lives were at stake, they are horrible at it, they hate it in fact 🤣
I had the privilege of seeing this live when they came to the US, and the hype at the helicopter part is u n r e a l (i accidentally hit the person in front of me with my light stick 😂)

Please do Jeff, it was the first kpop performance I ever saw on video. They were immaculate in white, unreal in their synchronization and talent - their PERFECTION. So happy that THAT was my first taste of all kpop could be.

These two are literaly what got me into Kpop. I first heard y si fuera ella and was obsessed with it, and then my first Shinee song to see was Excuse me miss and it solidified my interest in the genre. If I hadn't seen them I would have never learned about any of the other groups I'm into now

I think the best way to show him that he did well is to show his art and his passion to as much people as we can. He said that we built a space together and is a space where we can go to celebrate his life. I love seeing people react to SHINee and to his songs and realising what a powerhouse he was. I am at a stage that I want to be happy listening to them, besides what happened, I love SHINee for more than 10 years now and I lived truly happy moments and met a lot of precious people bc of them, so I want to celebrate that, and want everyone to do it too. It's insane the amount of stage presence they posses and how much they demand your atention throught the whole performance. I think i have watched all of their live stages (concerts, radio shows etc) available. They never dissapoint - stage presence, choreo, charisma, vocals them vocaaaals. I see "SHINee - Everybody" I click. "Everybody" is one of my most favourite K-POP choreography. It's very creative and powerful. And also have to appreciate the somg itself that is very well-structured to build up the energy from the beginning to the end. I like all the moves in the song. When I first saw the dance practice, I was like "Are they real people?" 😂 and the vocal thooooo OMG
SHINee doesn’t get enough credit for their dancing. I mean, did you see how in sync they are?!? How crisp their movements, how sharp their angles and extensions. Even in their dance practice. It just makes them look so clean. I love their dancing~

14 years later after SHINee debut, I still haven't found any other kpop group that beats Shinee with all members that have stable live power vocal like them (standing still or while dancing insane choreo). THEY'RE LEGENDS & so underrated! I know many other group sometimes have 1 or 2 main vocalist with really good vocal, but balance live vocal for all the members, nope! With studio headphones you can clearly hear everything. I'm a Shawol & Army, & I can say say SHINee raised the standard so high to all Kpop singers there, they became role models to many of 3rd & 4th gens idols, & they're still king of Kpop

SHINee concert performances are really amazing. There's a song of SHINee called Evil and the concert performance was really amazing. I remembered someone commented that they didn't know that SHINee does a stage like that. Well, SHINee live performances are really powerful and amazing. That's why after being a shawol, my standard of live performance is really really high.
That{s exactly why I am amazed at the vocal training in SM, they have such an endurance, I remember they said they get hit on the chest while doing high notes so they can practice keeping them going
Only Shinee can do this performance. You know that hard move during chorus with a high note? And yet, they make it! I still remember when i watched their performance during show that i forget what show it was, they sang live and oh my God their voice were stable! Like WTF how could they do that? 😆
Oooohhhh yes!!!! SHINee reaction!!!! They're the King of performance! They're one of the few groups that is really great in singing live with those hard choreos. And SHINee's dance repertoire are 90% hard. Thats why they were dubbed as CDNee. Because it's like they eat CDs to sound so good in a live performance. Looking forward to more of SHINee's reaction!!
everytime i see everybody tokyo dome performance, i am continuously amazed...it was one of the most amazing stages they ever did... deserving an opening song of TOKYO DOME concert.
Thanks so much for reacting to this. This is why SHINee are legendary - their live performances slay. As far as being able to sing with stability while doing such crazy choreo, they used to train together by singing while jogging. At the time, 2013, this was the most difficult choreo in Kpop. In fact, it had never been covered by any other group until Road to Kingdom. What's really crazy is that in 2018 on Weekly Idol, they performed this choreo - without throwing Taemin - at 2x speed. BTW: Taemin just dropped his comeback prologue "2KIDS" today. It's really beautiful, and he free-styles the dance and wrote the lyrics. Again, thank you, and I hope you will continue to react to SHINee and their solo stuff.
this group is one of if not the most hard working group in kpop that i know of. they never have been lazy in their performance and even their non dance is extra due to their amazing vocals. what i also commend about them is that these guys have continuously improved their performance every. single. time. another thing to note is that some of the members are vocalists not dancers and some are dancers and not vocalist but during performances, you can't see the difference as they have elevated their level to have the distinction of 5 main vocals and 5 main dancers. thank you for this jeff, because shinee bogoshipda!

Yes Tokyo dome is incredible!!! It's basically where the legends like shinee, tvxq, Super Junior, bts, girls generation etc perform pretty much exclusively from what I have noticed!! And yes shinee is incredible at both dancing and vocals!!! They're truly god tier!
They are known as one of the King of live performances. Go watch their concerts,listen to their live albums, you'll see nobody does it like SHINee. They are the best!

I recommend SHINee's Like A Fire in Seoul Concert performance! You'll be blown away by the vocals! (edit) And also, EXO'rDIUM Wolf (Remix) Ver by EXO. Honestly, these are imo two of the best vocal performances ever! I get goosebumps everytime! :)

It's insane the amount of stage presence they posses and how much they demand your atention throught the whole performance. I think i have watched all of their live stages (concerts, radio shows etc) available. They never dissapoint - stage presence, choreo, charisma, vocals them vocaaaals. SHINee doesn’t get enough credit for their dancing. I mean, did you see how in sync they are?!? How crisp their movements, how sharp their angles and extensions. Even in their dance practice. It just makes them look so clean. I love their dancing~

14 years later after SHINee debut, I still haven't found any other kpop group that beats Shinee with all members that have stable live power vocal like them (standing still or while dancing insane choreo). THEY'RE LEGENDS & so underrated!
I know many other group sometimes have 1 or 2 main vocalist with really good vocal, but balance live vocal for all the members, nope! With studio headphones you can clearly hear everything.
I'm a Shawol & Army, & I can say say SHINee raised the standard so high to all Kpop singers there, they became role models to many of 3rd & 4th gens idols, & they're still king of Kpop

Kings of live performances, Shinee! Everybody is very complex especially when singing live. That's what makes Shinee so unique, they are able to sing, dance and perform songs that others can hardly do
Yes, paying respect to the vintage Kpop groups here! Shinee really were a sensation, they were just SO good, and I'm so glad you're watching through some of their performances and appreciating them at last!

SHINee has two rappers: Key and Minho, three vocalists: Onew, Jonghyun and Taemin. This is one of thier more vocal heavy songs, but they do have others that feature the rappers more.
Fun factoid: They got so enthusiastic with that opening throw once that they almost threw Taemin off a stage.
Shawol always say SHINee has to hit the floor at the end of Everybody, because our kings put in 210% during the dance.

SHINee concert performances are really amazing. There's a song of SHINee called Evil and the concert performance was really amazing. I remembered someone commented that they didn't know that SHINee does a stage like that. Well, SHINee live performances are really powerful and amazing. That's why after being a shawol, my standard of live performance is really really high.
That{s exactly why I am amazed at the vocal training in SM, they have such an endurance, I remember they said they get hit on the chest while doing high notes so they can practice keeping them going
Only Shinee can do this performance. You know that hard move during chorus with a high note? And yet, they make it! I still remember when i watched their performance during show that i forget what show it was, they sang live and oh my God their voice were stable! Like WTF how could they do that? 😆
Oooohhhh yes!!!! SHINee reaction!!!! They're the King of performance! They're one of the few groups that is really great in singing live with those hard choreos. And SHINee's dance repertoire are 90% hard. Thats why they were dubbed as CDNee. Because it's like they eat CDs to sound so good in a live performance. Looking forward to more of SHINee's reaction!!

Thanks so much for reacting to this. This is why SHINee are legendary - their live performances slay. As far as being able to sing with stability while doing such crazy choreo, they used to train together by singing while jogging. At the time, 2013, this was the most difficult choreo in Kpop. In fact, it had never been covered by any other group until Road to Kingdom. What's really crazy is that in 2018 on Weekly Idol, they performed this choreo - without throwing Taemin - at 2x speed. BTW: Taemin just dropped his comeback prologue "2KIDS" today. It's really beautiful, and he free-styles the dance and wrote the lyrics. Again, thank you, and I hope you will continue to react to SHINee and their solo stuff.
SHINee is still one of the best groups of SM! Stage presence, charisma, live singing, group work, dancing!
this group is one of if not the most hard working group in kpop that i know of. they never have been lazy in their performance and even their non dance is extra due to their amazing vocals. what i also commend about them is that these guys have continuously improved their performance every. single. time. another thing to note is that some of the members are vocalists not dancers and some are dancers and not vocalist but during performances, you can't see the difference as they have elevated their level to have the distinction of 5 main vocals and 5 main dancers.

Yes Tokyo dome is incredible!!! It's basically where the legends like shinee, tvxq, Super Junior, bts, girls generation etc perform pretty much exclusively from what I have noticed!! And yes shinee is incredible at both dancing and vocals!!! They're truly god tier!
They are known as one of the King of live performances. Go watch their concerts,listen to their live albums, you'll see nobody does it like SHINee. They are the best!

OH SHIT EXACTLY, everybody is still considered one of the hardest kpop songs to perform (along with sherlock by shinee as well) by other idols and professionals, it really changed the game performance and fashion wise, shinee r indeed legends with a huge legacy
