  • I wanted to make this video to hopefully help anyone to hopefully help explain must have mods for Sur Ron X Tall Rider. I am fairly tall at 6'4" and weight 230lbs. The stock Sur Ron was too small for me and I wanted to explain the modifications I installed to make the big bigger and more comfortable for someone my height.

    Riser Handlebars - chargedcycleworks.com/product...
    Stem Riser - chargedcycleworks.com/product...
    18/21 Wheels - chargedcycleworks.com/product...
    S-Link - chargedcycleworks.com/product...
    SurRon bikes are very fun and can extremely fast! Before I begin adding performance enhancing modes like battery, motor and controller, I wanted to first make the big more accomadating for someone as tall as me. Well everyone, I hope you enjoyed my video and hopefully it will help any tall riders out there that currently own a Sur Ron or are thinking of buying one! Don't let your tall height discourage you! There are many options to make the bike bigger for us tall riders.

    I'm 6'4 and researching my first purchase, i appreciate this input and think i'll aim for the direction of the ultra bee. i now respect the price difference a little more.

      There are benefits if you are looking for a much bigger framed motorcycle. I sat on an ultra bee but it just was too large for my liking

    Basically Sur Ron conversion for tall rider is pain in ass. It better probably build full custom yet so far.

      I hear ya. It does take a little work. You could always buy the new larger framed Surrons like the Ultra Bee. But I really enjoy the small frame of the Light Bee. Too each their own I suppose.

    yeah im 6ft9 and scared im not gonna fit on it, and btw that fork and wheel combination means your wheel will lock up and send you flying while ripping apart the controler area upon full suspension sag so F right there.
    wish surron had more wheel room, id just go dual 23" wheels and call it a day.
    alas im going to have to do dual 21" and probably bmx tall bars, seat riser is tempting but dunno if its thaaaat important, especialy not the frame extender, that just for better stability at very high speeds mainly.

    • @JMGENTERPRISES
      @JMGENTERPRISES  4 месяца назад

      I rode mine completely stock for a while. Short trips were fun but after 30 minutes, it was a bit uncomfortable. It's a small bike for tall guys. At minimum I would recommend riser handlebars and the higher stem. That way your legs are not hitting the handlebars when you turn
