In hindsight would you do all the mods again or could a 6'3'' person be comfortable with the seat riser, stem, and handlebar risers? Thinking of the easiest installs here. I'm your height and looking for a 40-45 mph ebike that I can use on and off pavement both and transport to trails.

I'm finding out stacked mods wont always mesh together nicely. I had to raise and extend the seat asap. being 6'4", then the Chibattery uses a battery lid mod of its own, the two lid mods together makes a goofy, half assed looking, ill fitting mess.

Do you like the rearward position of your seat or would it be better a bit forward? Do you find yourself riding the crack between seat and battery cover? Interesting. It was the small size of the frame that initially put me off buying one of these. I ended up buying a mountain bike that would fit me and converting it to a mid drive. It has similar performance to the Sur-ron although the battery is only half the capacity so the range isn't so great.

When I first got the bike I still enjoyed every bit of it even though it was small. I didn't feel like it was some clown car scenario, rather the bike just felt more toy like and less of a dialed in weapon. I still jump on stock run Rons from time to time and it's very fun. But if you want to use the bike like it's an extension of you in very technical settings, I feel that these mods really help.

Almost all MTB fork steer tubes are 1-1/8 inch diameter. And nearly every stem out there will fit the stock Sur Ron forks steer tubes. Handlebars are typically 1-1/4 inches in diameter (31.8mm). Look for a handlebar stem that holds 1-1/4 (31,8mm) handlebars, and check the rise (usually in degrees) and stem length (reach in MM). I used an old Specialized MTB stem I had kicking around, it has a 20 degree rise and a 75mm reach. But I still have to install new handlebars for more rise.
