@@aaronx1377I say the same, I live in Brazil and here only the GR Corolla is available, selling for R$400K ( $82K ) competing with the Type R for the same price
do you ever feel the backend become floaty and very "movable" at high-speed cornering (with or without braking)? Mine seems to become unstable, but is completely stock so I was wondering :) GReat videos, always love to watch them!
I never felt that way with mine and drove it on stock suspension for almost a year. I did have it aligned almost from the start. Check the alignment, run more toe in if you feel the backend too loose. Even in stock guise I could go into Schwedenkreuz at ~180km/h which is an off camber fast left hander on the Nürburgring. Thank you for watching and engaging 🫶
@@GreatMotorsThanks for the advice, yeah I heard the word alignment quite often reading about the car. The roads I drive on are more bumpy and it happens when the fuel tank is emptying XD Keep up the awesome pace!
Hi, man. Really loved to watch your video. I’m curious about the noise when you changed gear in 00:24. Is it gear changing issue or something related to the car? I am also driving gr Yaris and sometimes getting the same noise while shifting to 3rd..
I think the box or something around it is somewhat temperamental. Shifting from 2nd to 3rd even with the pedal fully pressed (as you can see...) will sometimes yield crunchy noises 🤦♂️. It doesn't happen too often, but from time to time there it is. I believe this is the 1st time I caught it on video
This is before I added stiffer anti roll bars. I think it worked even better after that. I have now changed the settings on the bars themselves and going to test again in a few days. Excited about that :)
I drove the 1st track season I had the car with the stock suspension. But that's not the case for this video (there's a KW Clubsport in there). You can adjust the camber up front with OEM camber bolts that should give you around 2.5° of negative camber. Massive difference in tire wear and front can carry more speed around the corners. I would definitely recommend.
This is the following lapt: ruclips.net/video/7FuLPOfqt3s/видео.html and since my comment got more than 20 likes I am also uploading this one :)
Looking forward to the day I can finally own one
Yes! Send you wishes of good luck so that you can achieve your objectives 🍀
I wish GR Yaris was available in my country

Hey mate. just read that you had an alignment done to the stock suspension. Did you feel any noticeable difference? How was the tire wear? Cheers

What's your opinion about the position of the seat?
I don't dislike the seats, I found it a tad bit to high for me (1.78m) but I've lowered the seat now by 3cm and made a huge difference (for me).
