Yes. and you should mirror the video of your rear window camera. More akin to a rear view mirror for the viewer. I think it might be a more natural watching experience. Fantastic camera setup otherwise. Top notch.

If I may make one suggestion - it would be more realistic if you could mirror your rear-view cam horizontally (i.e. switch left & right) , the option should be available in any basic editing software. Currently, if a car is passing on the left, it shows up on the right side of the rear-view cam, e.g. 00:44 - 00:50
Thank you! I debated if I should flip it or not. Sometimes I do, but other times when watching feel "un natural" although that's how you would see it in the rear view mirror.
I disagree. The mind when looking in a real rear view mirror will swap over the image back so everything is where it needs to be in our mental image of reality. Here I am looking at a screen and my mind gets confused when the image is flipper horizontally as I'm neither inside a car, nor looking up at a object that my brain knows is a mirror. So keep it as is, thanks @GreatMotors for the nice footage :)

Beamer was right on the edge of losing it at 2:00. Feeling the pressure perhaps? 🤣 Other cars may be faster in a straight line but that Yaris is a tiny monster in the corners.
I’ve had my GR circuit pack 3 years, it’s mental and virtually just as fast in the wet. The grip is unbelievable. 1.6 3 cylinders.

I've bought yaris for myself, after summer hot months will go finally to track days in south of Spain, meanwhile prepping brakes and alignment for track)
For brakes get a different fluid. The stock one will boil. Get different pads, the stock ones are good and will hold, but won't last for nothing. They go from new to 0 in less than 10 Nürburgring laps like this one.
@@GreatMotors I'm getting Motul RBF660, Goodrich stainless steel brake lines and Endless CCRG. And this choice was influenced by videos on your channel as well as few others forums and channels)
@@Kirtanus that's the perfect setup 👍, you will have great fun. I use endless CC38 (or ME22) but there shouldn't be a world of difference
Loving the GR Yaris. The most underated Hot Hatch in the car magazines. c'mon Hyundai N cars, Golf R etc etc. None can do what this car does.Brilliant driving, thanks dude.

Love your videos dude.awesome driving just wondering what kilowatt on your Gr. Because I have mine is Rally I love my car is already surprised me everyday driving with 200kw I can imagine if pump it up to 300 or more I just can’t handle, it is a Best.

M2 with its extra power can easily keep up and take ground on the straights over the GR, but not into/through and initially out of corners. If M2 had same power to weight as the GR, it would be dropped easily. Great drives both in this vid. Thanks
Nope, the M2 is still quicker in the corners. If you put a professional in both cars, the Yaris would be destroyed. The lap times aren't close at all.
@@gw7624 Do look up lap times GR vs M2 only twistier short circuits, the GR more than holds its own. Llandow for example. Introduce damp and bumps and the tables turn. Given the huge power gap, this is more impressive than a long v fast circuit with power straights that favour big power. ymmv
@@gaycha6589 The F87 was five seconds quicker around Sachsenring, which has plenty of twists and turns. While the driver is clearly a factor, the overall difference in track performance places the M2 in a different league to the GR Yaris. Yes, on a wet lap, the GR would have an advantage, but so would many front-biased platforms.

Great car's but the potential of the other cars like M2' Porsche gt3 and the like is always going to be greater but at much greater cost of course
Fully agree on the Porsche (I've a GT4). On the M2, I also have one, there is no denying that straight away it will be a faster car than the GR Yaris, around the bends I would not be so sure. The M2 is less engaging that the Toyota, the yaris offers more feedback all around

I might have, allegedly, connected a small device close to the clutch pedal that tricks the speed sensor into always think you are not doing >230km/h.

You dondt prefer every controls out?
New alignment. I would rather keep it slightly on to have some safety net. The barriers are full of heroes :)! Also the TC intervenes very little in expert mode.
