I have a suggestion, Jessica. You should try and react to the ANTM casting episodes. lol, it will be hilarious to see your reactions on what these girls have to do/say to make it to the model house. Because some of those casting episodes are extremely toxic.

The Face was brilliant. The mentors actually knew what they were talking about, but there were a few problematic moments to react to as well. The photography was excellent. (I’m thinking of the Longchamps campaign in Paris ) and ErinO’Connor was lovely.

I hope you reaction to antm 16 1st episode where they prank the girls. So the eliminated model thought they make it to the house and the one make it look like they going home. Then the one make it have to say goodbye to Tyra first because this is so call last meet before they go home, in fact they are already in the home. While the girls thought they Made it, have to wait hours in the bus and didnt make it to the house, everybody was livid (according some interview by oliver to the girl who fakely Made it)

I hate how many voiceovers they have on ANTM. It’s like they forgot to say something or they said something wrong when they were actually talking to the girls so that had to rerecord a sentence and put it in whilst panning to another shot. The audio is so obviously different, it kills me every time. 😂
Oh, I thought this would be about that one girl (don't remember her name) that won the whole season she was in, UNTIL they found out she had once been an escort or something like that, and took it all back and gave it to the runner up.

I’m watching through old seasons right now. And you definitely need to watch/react to Season 7 episode 1. They make the girls who get through the first round of preliminary eliminations do a nude photo shoot with no prior warning!
You should react to the two episodes that are so ableist, it's disgusting. They have a catwalk where lights are shining off glitter and one of the girls is going blind ! Another one is in the later cycle with nyle who was deaf, they did a shoot at night so he can't see his interpreter it's just sooo wrong

Jess. You honestly could think of more. Imagine them promoting covergirl at a Walmart, for many seasons now actually, is that saying something? They can’t find other sponsors beyond that (allegedly). Or something else, there isn’t any BA prizes for the girls. Or what else? There’s so much more since you have react to the show for 4 years. Isn’t there any other idea/spark that you can think beyond critic now?
It’s no longer dry humor, it’s literally becoming like Tyra, no sense of objectivity and being biased towards what you believe in.

@@nrmmom She struggled /hard/ at first when it came to personality/in-person challenges, but was one of those girls that just modeled effortlessly (hence why she won top callout at panel for the first five weeks in a row). Once she was able to overcome her insecurities and come out of her shell, it was a done deal. Like no one could compare to her; Chelsie had 0 shot.
It’s like this woman doesn’t realise that this is a reality tv show for entertainment…not the real life modelling world🤦🏼♀️
That’s the whole point of her reviews….she reviews them from the viewpoint of a professional fashion photographer and points out how unrealistic the show is.
But the show itself tried to make it look like “this is the real world of what modeling is all about”. Almost every episode you’ll have Tyra saying something about how “this is what modeling is”. You and I know this is just reality tv, but when the show is trying to make itself appear as an authentic modeling experience, I say it’s fair game to critique the hell out of it from a real photographer’s perspective.
That's just a ridiculous comment. This show prided itself on being an accurate portrayal of the modeling world. And then year after year they abused their contestants. I remember growing up with this and thinking, yeah that's got to be the way it goes. You're looking at the show through a 2024 lense, things were way different when the show first aired and that's why it's had this big resurgence. Now we can see how toxic it really was.

I was very satisfied in this very episode because she went home. She may have done well in challenges, but her photos sucked.
Imo Tyra want something more spiced concept this shoot in LA Rodeo about the story of the shoot but i forgot about walkshot
