It's terrifyingly sad, but western propaganda is too strong.

What I played I liked it. I know plunderstorm was for PVP players for fun. This is a pve for fun I'm glad I hope we see more of things like this.
Is there no PvP at all though? That really kills any reason to do it for me. This would be so much fun if there was some BGs to Que with this crazy power or dominate WPvP zones.

Plunderstorm was NOT for PvP players. It has NOTHING to do with 3v3 arena.

I would love to see blizz allow leveling by doing old raids. I’m a DF baby so the idea of being able to do ICC or Throne of Thunder at like level 37 excites me so much

I hope this is like the new timewalking. TW dungeons are okay, but this would be far more fun if they cycled monthly for all xpacs. Would make gathering MOGs more enjoyable IMO.
I like to think that Metzen is somewhere in the background shouting "Listen, its the best set of questzones we've ever made followed by some of the best raids and content ever released, we're going back to Pandaria goddamnit, one way or another"

@@maynardewm there are plenty of achievements and rewards catered to conpletionists as well as literally buckets of rewards tied to that gameplay style and the harder content is out there. The easy content is there for the players that want it and the difficult is there for those that want it. Why is it a problem that the guys that want to get where they want to be fast are able to do it? Logic like that is probably a core avoidance in the current dev team lmao, logic like that leads to artifact power forevergrinds.

I started in Legion but loved farming stuff in MoP, super hyped to get to play it 😯
I really hope they bring back MoP challenge dungeon sets. I'm sad I missed out on getting them and this could be a nice/interesting way of reintroducing those sets.
Really like this look of this. Might be what brings me back after a decade long hiatus.
All the doomers hating anything Blizzard is doing, even when they are trying to play it safe but are actually thinking outside the box for these crazy game adjustments in a temporary version of WoW for experimentation. I'd rather they do this in the long run, then straight up try to add new things permanently to the base game that ends up falling flat. I think this is the better method personally. If they do take all the feedback and stuff from these experiments to eventually update/revive the old content, I'm all for it. If it leads to more evergreen changes to deal with these temporary ones, then I'm down all the way.
Specifically I think it would be cool if they eventually made it to where raiding/doing these old xpacs in this way was a normal way to level as well in an evergreen way for the base game. I mean, what better way for people to get into raiding then being able to do it while leveling and on top of it, actually get to experience these old raids the way they were intended in a raid group compared to getting max lvl and just running them solo for farming mogs/mounts.
@@1ViivviiX1 Hell, have one of these extra game modes every month, with transfers afterwards - plunderstorm could easily have 70 in stead of 40 levels so people who enjoy that can get a different, fresh, way to level.
@@SimplyConeh I personally don't want the Remixes and stuff to continue as just seasonal after they've atleast done the xpacs they are going to, as I'd rather they take those experiences and make them long term changes/revivals of the old xpacs. But overall the Plunderstorm being a seasonal thing I'm all for though. Just don't want too many back to back FOMO events (or limited time stuff in general for too long atleast with the Remixes and stuff) as it would become a bit hectic trying to not stress the limited time stuff while also wanting to play Retail (or any other version of WoW currently running too) and be able to not feel I'm gonna get behind on one thing or another. Other than that, what Blizz is doing atm, from all Interviews, press releases, videos on their RUclips, the level of transparency and actual planning they've never even attempted since WoWs conception, listening to player feedback, taking chances on actually improving the game for the long term, bringing back Chris Metzin and even more great things coming, truly has me excited for the future of WoW and is restoring my faith in Blizz.
The way I view it, is if it's not something that you enjoy, then I don't see why someone does it. If people are "so done" with Blizz or think that the game is doomed and so done for, then why sit here and waste their time on it anymore, or try to bring the people down who actually wanna just enjoy the game. Not saying you are, but the doomers in the comments on RUclips and Whiners in Plunderstorm Queue lobby really have been trying to damper the experience of everyone with their negativity. But oh well, gonna enjoy what's to come, I feel it in my bones.

@@teejmorrison Great way to look at it. The way I see it, is if you're expecting to enjoy something, you have to be willing to engage with it and atleast give it a shot. If you're already looking at it in the worst light, ofcourse your mind is going to be focusing on the negatives and not having a good time.
I always felt I missed out not playing MoP, I was on a long break at the time that didn't end until Legion. Even going back and doing Chromie Time there's only so much story you can see, and that almost never involves patch content and never involves raids. I really hope that is the test bed for a Chromie Time rework

do lfr for leveling have a weekly cooldown or can they be spammable?
Im excited for this, though alot of my guild arnt which surprises me, there complaint is its more time limited FOMO stuff, but i dont mind it being a time limited thing and will be happy to jump into it, my worry is to get all the mogs i want, how much grind am i gonna need to put in within the time limit before it ends.
It was a ton of fun I just hope they don't fuck it up and nerf the fun right out when it goes live.
Alright - this seems a bit more fun than I was expecting.
I Really hope this becomes a continued thing. of having TImerunning expansions as seasons. as a Collector I love the idea of a hyper focused way to level up characters and collect mounts and Mog from singular expansions at a time without worrying about gold, or Raid locks.
I’m so excited for Remix. I feel like OSRS Leagues paved the way for things like this. Goofy, fast paced limited time modes where the main goal is genuinely just to have fun and see how broken you can make your character.
this looks incredibly fun, i hope blizz doesnt find a way to 'nerf' the fun before it comes to live. ive been on a break from wow for almost a year now and this absolutely will get me to come back.

This looks awesome. Question though, when they announed MoP Remix, I was thinking of leveling up an alt through Pandaria to experience the story. From what I see here, that's not really the way to do it hehe.
If I want to experience the story, should I just do Chromie time? If I do Chromie time now and play all of MoP, will it burn me out on the Remix?
All remix characters get turned into regular characters at the end. If you're willing to wait to actually use the alt this could be a good way tbh
I believe you can do the experience the story type of play in Remix, it's just there is many way of playing Remix, some are not story related, so you pick what you want,

Yes, also after event finishes your remix character turns into ur normal character

I'm pretty sure it doesn't - it's a new mode similarly to plunderstorm, where you kind of enter a different region just for that purpose and the achievements obviously don't exist on regular servers, since their rewards are bronze. Also, it would kind of ruin the point

They can't do retail authentic like vanilla. That's just not possible. But they still can make it fun. Just pure unhinged fun. And they are doing it!

I am so excited for this, I loved Pandaria. Now, you said we could earn rep and it would count for all the alts I already have, right? What happens if my main has every rep maxed in Pandaria (yeah, all of them). Do I have to do all of them again? I now have a quandary as to what class/race I want to play...
So achievements carry over - do they work in the opposite direction? If you earned an 'account wide' achievement in MoP, do you have it in the Remix?

Does anyone knows whether we are able to get challenge transmogs like Warlock's "Betrayer" transmog?
If i level as say a hunter can i buy paladin/warrior sets too or priest sets? And are those sets then immediately available on my other toons?
If I'm not mistaken, they're also adding the ability to get xmogs for everything, even if your class can't wear it.
Do I understand that right? When I have the Achievement in Live, do I get it in Remix, too? Or is it just the other way around?
I think it's the other way around, where if you get them in Remix, you get them in Live. Because these achievements will become Feats of Strength achievements after the event ends in late August.

Should I play the same class I play as a main on retail or should I change to level up alts?
Pretty sure you can transfer the character after the event is done. So you should decide whether you want a new alt or try the superpowered version of your main.

OMG this is wow farming W's in such a fun way! I am so stoked for this when it goes live! I get chills when I think about my hunter with blink I mean srsly! This is cooking!
This does look pretty fun. I've earned a lot of the cheevos for MoP but I think this will give me a new opportunity to explore a different class/spec for multiple alts if the lvl'n is as fast as it's being portrayed. I wouldn't mind collecting a lot of xmogs that aren't available to me atm in live. Does look and interesting.

Very much looking forward to this. Curious... do we know what state these characters will be in when they are dropped into standard wow at the end? My guess is a basic set of gear and bags like you get from the gear update feature.
my absolute favorite thing is the multiple ways to achieve the same achievement! i don't mind grinds, and achievements can be *hard*, but azeroth has so many different kinds of players, and it's really, really nice to be considerate of those who don't mind working hard, but want to work hard *their way* and still feel rewarded.
I hope this is the future of WoW, bc they made a LOT of smart decisions here!

Separate. New remix character. Start at level 10.
Blizzard should enable dynamic fly on cloud serpents and do some race event on Mop remix

I wasn't planning to come back until War Within actually hit... but then i rememberd MoP is the one expansion I always regretted leaving 1/2 way through.... FUCK i may need to try this...

so whats the benefeit os using the special character u can make over just using ur existing ones?

I played Frost DK back in MoP and switched to DH in legion. I'm 1,000,000% going to reroll Frost DK again for this. I'm so hyped.

My biggest worry for this new mode is that it will be over too quickly. It's basically how I've felt about all the new things WoW has done in recent years. I felt WoW Classic progressed too quickly for me, as did Classic BC and Classic WotLK and SoD seasons have been going too fast for me to keep up as well. I don't want WoW Remix to be over before I've completed half of it, but it probably will.
I am curious though, once they finish this and the characters go into your usual list to choose from, will all thier wacky gear still work in regular wow?
No, you will get replacement gear for normal wow

Are you able to activate the follow system with dragonriding? I've got a friend who's interested but he hasn't played or even bought dragonflight yet. Would be nice if he was able to change in the whelpling and follow me though.

Wait , so is this an actual part of dragonflight? Or is it like vanilla but MOP with dragonriding ? Or the PvP thing that came out ? Im so confused lol
the character skills and talents are dragonflight. Also you can dragonride so basically all modern character stuff going on. However the gearing and currency is entirely different, power levels are very different etc. It is mixing in elements of modern wow with old wow, plus some ARPG, some torghast power fantasy, season of discovery type chaos. It is all on separate servers to prevent any impact into the main game until it ends and you can take your power leveled characters with you into the next xpac.
If I decide to roll a monk for this can I still get transmogs for my retail main, a warrior?

I'm incredibly excited to play this remix as someone that never played MoP.
Will they offer lvl resets? Like I have a bunch of alts that are like 39 or 50 and i would be more than happy to reset them to lvl 10 rather then delete them and make a new alt..
That's literally the only issue I have with this. I have thirty max level chars right now. If they do an equivalent of D4 'Seasonal rebirth' then I'm totally sold!
Grinded on the ptr, got to 70, did the achievements for rings and trinkets. Then I blinked out of the shrine of two moons, fell under the earth and was captured in an eternal cycle of instant disconnects whenever I logged in.
And I still had a full day to check out the raids 😢
Besides that, the experience was pretty good. Just need to tune some stuff a little bit
