We did this walk last weekend. It was a lovely sunny day and lots of friendly people out. Thanks for uploading this as I've been trying to find the full route on the OS map app. Is there a name for the steps towards the end?
Thank you very much for this video. I've never been there before. And this Sunday coming up I am doing a fell running race and the route is nearly what you guys did. It's so nice to see what the landscape is like. Also I appreciate all the information and interesting facts that you provided. Shame the fell race is held not when the heather is in bloom.
Another great video guys. I've done Kinder many times but never from Hayfield. The Downfall is one of my favourite spots at all times of the year I found the summit point on Kinder many years ago, due north from the rock Noe Stool if I remember rightly, and it was marked with a wooden stake and a small plaque with 636m painted on it :)
Thanks! 😊 the downfall is definitely an epic spot! That's awesome 👍 good to know that there is actually some kind of marker to let you know that you have reached the summit! Maybe one day we will find it too! 😊
Such great views! We tried to go up Kinder Scout in October but it was so wet and foggy when we were there so didn't think it was worth it! Hopefully we'll be back to the Peak District next year 🙂
Sorry to hear you couldn't climb it due to the weather! We do know how it feels to be up there in the rain and wind and it's not a fun experience! Definitely best to wait for a nice day 😊 thanks for watching and hope you get up Kinder next year 👍
Super video and a nice hike up Kinda👍🏔 my wife and I are multi national too and she like a hike from time to time so it’s nice to see you guys too! 😊 enjoy be safe subscribed 👍🏔
*great video and informative. Our channel is about exploring and would love do this with my 8 yr old, especially a day when the waterfall goes back. Was it a long walk?*
Thanks guys! The walk took us probably about 5-6 hours but we did stop a lot to film, take pictures and for lunch. Could definitely be done quicker than that if you wanted. But very easy one once you are on the summit as its very flat 👍😊 wish we could have seen the waterfall flowing backwards! Maybe next time 🤞
@KittiandJon Thank you! We did bamford Edge and stanage egde the other day and wanted to go ahead and do mam tor but it started raining. I was asking since we wanted to do it coming Saturday, and it looked beautiful in your vlog
Just did this walk today, fantastic
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
I went up Kinder Low from Hayfield yesterday.
Hope you had a good time! :)
Great to see you guys back enjoying the Peak District
Thanks Marc! It had definitely been a long time since we last got out in the Peaks!
Great video! Stunning views!
Thank you very much! The views on a clear day are incredible 😊👍

Glad you had a beautiful day for it! Makes it so much better! Don't think there is a name for those steps no but I might be wrong!

Is this the route you did that's on your Alltrails? Thanks ❤
Yes that’s right 😊 the link is in the video description 👍
@@KittiandJon Thank you! Is there plenty of parking available or did you park somewhere particular to start the route? 😊
@@kieralouise9909 yes there is plenty of parking available along Kinder Road or at the designated car park near the end of that road :)
Which month did you go in please
We probably did this walk in late August! Can’t remember exactly! 😅 the heather comes out late summer usually 👍
