10 Reasons Why INTJs Are So Intimidating

I'm an INTJ and wished to know that a few years earlier. I went to med school and became a doctor. The knowledge, that I have acquired, satisfied my thirst for knowledge on one hand.
But the lack of autonomy, innervation and being not able to work on the "bigger" picture on the other hand, is dissatisfying. That's why I'm working on becoming a medical entrepreneur and found my own medical Start-Up company to disrupt the healthcare system by using technology and empower patients.
Wish me luck to accomplish that transition!

I just graduated high school and am currently attending a college and majoring in computer science, but the crazy part to me is that throughout high school I toyed with the ideas of working in architecture, mechanical engineering and writing. I recently found out I'm an INTJ. I work as a high school English teacher, devoted 7 years so far. It's becoming super not fun, so I started doing these tests to better understand myself and find the jobs that would be satisfying. I don't believe I'm good at maths or computer science, but I want to work from home and alone, so I'm thinking about giving it try. You get so scattered as a teacher that you're starting to forget what you're capable of. It's very draining all the time (for introverted ppl).

A VERY strong word of warning. The position you've got right now in impacting people's lives in person every day. Not sure what grade you're working, but you ARE changing lives. I have a computer science degree, have worked ten years in the field and most of the times you turn into a cog in the corporate machine. Lots of red tape, regulation, and sometimes its incredibly hard to see how you make any good impact by what you program. A lot of time its implementing something that the company wants to make them more money. and you are on call 24X7, or have a rotating schedule. The career can be boring, exciting, stressful, heart attack inducing, panic attack corner, and depending on your position, your quality of life mentally may suffer. In terms of time sacrifices and throwing yourself into the profession, I'd actually compare it to being a lawyer.
Let me also tell you, money isn't everything. Its not worth it if you're sacrificed mentally.
I'm 36 years old and still remember my English teachers fondly. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have your job.

That is where the satisfaction will come in at rather than the actual writing. I struggled with math in school and I think that is a distinction between INTP's and INTJ's. My INTP friend is a master in every form of math I've even heard of and that is the biggest difference between his and my natural talents.

I used to get bored once I mastered a job (usually at the 2 year mark), so I moved from job to job, normally with a 50%+ pay increase each move. This video was not helpful for me because this careers not always fit to people with this type of personality.
INTJ often becomes the techie and likes school subjects that related to math and physics. Favorite subject in school for INTJ is very rarely something humanitarian subject like society studies or history. This is the reason why careers like lawyer or entrepreneur is not for INTJ. And I want to say about necessary to talk with people very often for judge or corporation strategist - this is very hard for INTJ.
So, the best careers from INTJ is programmer, writer, architect, engineer, mathematician, scientist, accountant.

I honestly thought nobody was even capable of understanding me until watching 50 or so of these (so far) ! This video is dead accurate and im pretty sure i would do well at any that i havent done although being an attorney sounds miserable for the most part. I am proficient in Every trade needed to build a house except framing and concrete, i have done mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, operated all kinds of heavy equipment, drove a big rig for more than 500k miles, worked as a mechanic and service technician for vehicles and heavy equipment, accounting, (usually fixing problems or analyzing discrepancies and looking for foul play) been a project manager, etc. Etc. Im pretty sure i would excel at all of the things mentioned in this video, but there's only so many things 1 person can master in a lifetime, so i guess i can't have it all!😢 oh, yeah! There's also the cost of learning that limits things!😅

If you are a INTJ, I think you might be surprised how well you would do as project manager! I used to think I would not be a good project manager until I had to be one! I naturally plan ahead and put a lot of effort to make sure everything is in place for the guys to be able to be efficient and productive as possible! It does take some getting used to as far as dealing with a lot of people, but videos like the ones from this channel will help you a lot in learning how to deal with people.🙂

I am work well with Business Analysis. Believe me that spreadsheet with complicate formula and strange format to make your job automate with fewer step is more fun than programer.😂😂😂 When you grow up just learn how to make a dashboard then you knew more details than the person who provide the data to you. Don't you feel good to be that superior? 😂😂😂 Sometime take invitation to be an auditor. INTJ well known as a cold heart person and pleasures to get rid of inefficiency person like a cheater without a second thought.

What do you mean by failing?

    • @lawrencebolt3540
      @lawrencebolt3540 2 года назад +1

Well, both my extroversion and feeling functions as an ENFJ is weak lol something like 51%
My theory is that I was initially a INTJ, but because I left home at 17 I had to develop my extroversion and I went through a rough patch at 22 where setting goals appeared pointless as I was homeless, so I developed into a ladies man (because of the unique situation I found myself in, plenty of well educated women around me) which switched my T into a F.
In truth when I step outside my house I am completely a ENFJ, but once I cross that threshold into my house I am INTJ and very sensitive to my environment, which I'm not when I'm outside my house. It's quite a stark difference really!
I recently came across the MBTI and it has helped me make sense of a lot of my behaviour and given me strategies to overcome my weaknesses and develop!
      Great analysis btw!

I think it is ok, you'll enjoy the interviews and analyzing people's character for best fit for a job (efficiency) but other than that not really. HR do have a lot of downtime tho especially in small organizations so that might appeal to you. But people will expect you to solve fights and complaints and arguments.... that part would be hard.
