Hi LinuxBear! I unfortunately deleted some of my work files. I have Ubuntu 22.04 installed on my Windows 11 system. With using file recovery tools I found my deleted files, but all of them were in .lnk format which I cannot open. Do you have any suggestion? I feel hopeless🥺🙏
Nice work....let me try for my marriage videos that i mistakenly deleted. Worried
Is this work for windows
I have 2 partition in my laptop. Accidentally One drive F format while I was in windows . I use teskdisk in windows to recover.. But It shows 0 file found. Can I use testdisk through Linux to get back those drive's file?? please help me
if you need that data at any cost ...first i would like you to advise stop using the system so that new data cant be overwritten as it would make the recovery impossible...and then use the live usb linux OS and then recover the data from whole drive using foremost tool.
Hi,
My laptop this morning when I started it, just showed me the following message:
1. The Toshiba Icon showed up(as normal)
2. Checking Media [fail]
3. No Bootable Device -- Please Restart System
I then took out the internal drive, connected to another laptop in order to try to copy al of my data but I could not see any data, just the normal empty folders such as: Desktop, Downloads, Documents, Pictures etc.
Can the laptop be fixed?
If not, can the data be recovered? If so, how?
Thank you
possible solutions:
1. change the bios setting and try to boot from hdd
2. hdd data can be recovered by using live usb or if hdd is corrupted it can be fixed by live usb too using fdisk and chkdisk
@@thelinuxbear6596 can you tell me how do i do this in linux manjaro
How can we use this method for mobile data using usb?
this cannot be used for mobile ):
Unable to locate package how to fix?
sudo apt-get update
how to change directory to window partition?
you cannot change the directory to windows but you can use the live usb to analyze the windows partition
unable to locate package testdisk
it means you haven't installed it...install it correctly...sudo apt-get install testdisk
@@thelinuxbear6596 it's alright now. I have installed it, though in my case, it required me to specify whether its universe, multiverse, or anyverse I don't remember HAHAHAH but I have installed
