- Bubba has received some long-deserved buffs to his basekit that make him much less add-on reliant! However, some players seem to be under the impression that just because his chainsaw is better you should ALWAYS use it no matter what. This is sometimes not a great idea...

At 2:02 & 9:19 Bubba should go side ways with his Chainsaw and it would help to hit a Survivor first instead of Pallet. It's very useful technic. Second mistake first Bubba did was using Award Winning Chili insead of something else - Prime Bulb or whatever. Bubba players just bring og Add-Ons that were good before without even thinking. I see many Streamers playing double chili that isn't a very good choice for example. Overall I think decreased collision and decreased Tantrum still keept Bubba at very high skill ceiling and he is just simply hard to play around his Chainsaw against a good players and he needs some practice. Bubba needs patience on Pallets to avoid stuns, keep zoning Survivors well etc etc.
Sideways? Like look to the side, or face the pallet but move sideways across it (so the pallet's out of chainsaw range but the survivor isn't) instead of straight through?
I mean at the end of the day wouldn't award winning chili and beast marks still give u hits u probably wouldn't get? Ik I have had plenty of hits there's no way I could of got otherwise as I hit them with the very last hit of the chainsaw sweep. Not slouching primer bulb but not slouching the combo of using those 2 add ons
Upon further notice I see they nerfed both chili's and overall bulb is a better option. Haven't played the game in a while just kinda getting back into it
@@soulbender1987 It's hard to get Chili value and requires good Tokens management where Primer Bulb is constant very effective value. Additionally, Chili increases acceleration time and sometimes it can steal a down.
It’s kinda ironic that for killers who can destroy pallets with their power, having a lot of pallets is actually a hindrance.
Feel killers should get base brutal or something, I mean survivors got base bt so
@@Silentgunner555 i would agree but the maps are so vastly different that more pallets become deadzones you cant escape from even if they kick the pallet.
@@Silentgunner555 They did when the buffed Killers a few updates ago. They kick pallets 10% faster than they used to. So it went from a 3 second kick animation to 2.7
@@maiqluvsskooma239 .3 seconds here and .3 seconds there means nothing. I run brutal pretty frequently and the amount of times a survivor still makes it to a pallet is pretty high. Honestly a lot of things could be made base kit and it would be fine. Devs are just too scared to piss off the whales feeding their coffers.

we barely got any bubbas and they are t-bagging them, next they DC after hearing a nurse in the start of a match smh
i think possibly a few major reasons why people don't m1 as bubba or even billy for the matter, is possibly:
1. they find it more fun to do m2 only, and wanna make it fun for the survivor
2. they're afraid to give the survivor a perk
3. they feel just injuring instead of insta-downing will make the chase last even longer than it has, so they think it's often not worth it
i'm glad that with the new buffs, bubba is a lot scarier now and can use his chainsaw much more effectively, but if you're having trouble at a window just accept the hit and potential future heal time.
edit: i think another potential reason is that a majority of the community thinks it's bad to M1 as an M2 killer, not just Billy or Bubba but if you're a Huntress or Blight as well and so on. It could simply be some players were conditioned and taught that M1'ing as these killers is bad, and that they shouldn't do it when they really should (when needed)
I think they are removing the M1 button as soon as they choose to play a chainsaw Killer ;)
you sign an informal contract that if you play a oneshot killer you can't m1 (except for Oni ofc)

My favorite bubba build is
- Bamboozle
- Spirit Fury
- Enduring
- Hubris
That way, no matter what loop or tile you go to, you can block the windows and raise your chainsaw at the pallet. Either they feed your spirit fury and you break the pallet fast, stun you and can get instadowned or get downed by the chainsaw.

I agree that to win, it can be better to M1 even as (near) strict M2 killers like Nemesis, Nurse, Huntress or Xenomorph who should close to never M1, to LEARN however, I think these Bubbas are doing the best thing to learn one specific thing, namely his power.
Meanwhile me often getting kicked out of Xenos ability because of the damn flames that I can’t seem to be able to aimdown to properly and having to m1 💀
Xeno should M1 WAYYYYYYY more than people do. I say this as a Xeno main who goes against some absolutely horridly ambitious xenos in pubs regularly who REFUSE to M1 and let me FOV tech them all night long while their tail peppers the ground. If you think you can squeeze the tight tail shots go for them but 99% of the time the tail should be used for animation locks.
@@JudojugsVtuber I will admit my survivor MMR is pretty low but I swear I've only seen the opposite, Xenos that near exclusively M1 cos they have no confidence with the tail.

I like you more than other creators because you made this a learning experience and they make this a looping video making fun off the Bubba, tea bagging and pointing while and adding stupid sound effects.
(Edit: not the big ones, I watch a lot of shorts and the algorithm spoon feeds me DBD content. It's mostly people with under 5k subs that are very toxic)

I notice this with billy players too, except they will try to chainsaw the injured survivor who is 1 foot infront of them, despite the knowledge that missing adds an extra 5 seconds (chainsaw revving/feathering + recovery after missing)
I like to run Devour Hope on Bubs, it creates this funny mind game where the survivors go "well I can take a basic, at least its not a chainsaw" and then they go down in one lol. Best use of Bubba basic imo
Sometimes it's the players you go against, too. This counts especially for Hillbilly - the new sensitivity of his turning is enough for experienced players to finesse anyone who's remotely new and/or hasn't played since he was buffed.
The crouch tech against Bubba is criminal

does anyone else feel like the chainsaw gets overheated much easier now? i think they should give the engravings a buff to make them not overheat as much to compensate the charge time
His overheat time was changed from 5 -> 3 seconds. He got a shadow nerf.
How to play leatherface (in depth guide):
If you can hit with the chainsaw, use the chainsaw.
If you cannot hit with the chainsaw, hit them with the hammer.

Im sad that crouching at the exit gates means T bagging and is a rude gesture. When I first played dbd in early access, i just assumed crouching was alwats the way to show respect to the killer for a good game at the end, in the same way "t-bagging" is a friendly gesture to other survivors. Needs to be more ways to show killers love
T bagging came from games long before DBD. and theres nothing friendly about putting your nuts into a defeated players mouth
Usually an item donation + tbag is always perceived as friendly - whereas basic bags have a negative stigma surrounding them.

This is exactly why I hate the endurance and haste after an unhook, or BT from before it became base kit. Being able to unhook immediately, sometimes even in a Killer's face, and end up winning that encounter, is just dumb.
I'm not advocating for it to be removed, because tunneling is still a big issue, but I AM saying that it needs changes eventually. Probably not right now, since there's more pressing issues that affect the core gameplay mechanics, but eventually, we need something better.

Honestly the same thing applies to Hillbilly. Don't over rely on your chainsaw. For both Bubs and Billy I typically only chainsaw when I am close. Better to guarantee the hit than waste time looping only to kill the pallet.
I just feel like even if I do really well I still almost always loose cause gen simply just disapear with him

My brother (non Bubba main) secured a 3k (gave last one hatch) while playing Bubba blasting music. This to say, maybe that's what all bubba's should do.

I found a tech as bubba, down someone next to gen, start and then cancel gen kicking repeatedly, whole team congregates around you, you saw them all in half, you win, you get called racial slurs in end game chat.
i dont know why bubba keeps getting buffed he was already good originally and he just keeps on getting more annoying
Im pretty sure bubba didn't work like that before, he would kill the person first and then the pallet. Also considering you were infront of the pallet as well not hugging the wall you cant argue that old bubba would go through someone like that. Probably one of the new million bugs added in the vecna changes.

The most obnoxious camping/ Tunneling killer gets omega buffed. An insta down killer that’s cooldown is an M1 killers weapon wipe in length. Meanwhile slinger gets insignificant tweaks. Make it make sense💀
They buffed his chase ability so you probably won’t see him camp as much anyway. This does nothing to buff his camping abilities
I mean, all you have to do is find a window then suddenly he is in shambles. Even if he has bamboozle, him vaulting the window still usually gives you time to find something else.
@@mikaylacaldwell4452 I’ve ran into 11 the past two days, 7 Basment campers and 2 any hook campers. And his increased speed means he can shred through your base kit BT and easily down you again even with people using guardian. His tantrum being 3 seconds and his collision being non existent on the sides of his chainsaw are problematic. Everything else is fine.

He is talking about the broad term not the technical one, Closed maps are indoor maps, "maps where generators are hard to see" and so on...
Some indoor maps have lots of pallets (The Game) with generators hard to see for example, others like the new map have generators spawn in the same locations (so hard to find) and few pallets on the outdoor
Yes, this is a broader category!! Most indoor maps have tons of pallets to make up for the fact that their gen spread is small / difficult to find for Survivors.

Crouching meant the chainsaw found the pallets hitbox before Otz’s, if he hadn’t of crouched his hitbox would have met the chainsaw first leading to death
It's Called Crouch Tech. He Crouched In A Way To Where Bubba Would Hit The Pallet First Thus Ending The Chainsaw Early.

@@enjinianot an exploit, more like a hitbox problem, otherwise Huntress hatchets hitting invisible things would also be considered an exploit by this definition, by crouching (if the killer is at that distance and they are not careful) they can hit the pallet first, it happens with Nemesis and Billy as well sometimes

As Mikay pointed out, I waited to ensure that everyone was safe / give the Killer a hit if he wanted extra BP.
