3 mods I think would make the commonwealth worldspace look like the OG minutemen actually made a difference before there fall. The scrappy turrets. minutemen watchtowers. Minutemen supply caches. 3 things a militia group would scatter accros the commonwealth to aid in protecting the people at a minutes notice.

CC minutemen paint. CC minutemen vs gunners. We are the Minutemen. Minutemen Takeover nuka world. Classic combat armor. Handmade laser musket Minutemen watchtowers. Minutemen supply caches. And now the new version of scrappy turrets. A lore friendly and quite realistically stronger minutemen.
I appreciate the standalone version of the MG69. I use a lot of weapon mods with custom anims, and thats something the Super Mutants seem to struggle with. So I have to settle for giving them their own segregated arsenal, and any more additions I can give my mutie brothers is much appreciated.
I'd love to see the Institute Phaser pistol get added to the Institute leveled lists at some point, I personally don't like using institute weapons even when I side with them but having new weapons for synths and coursers would be excellent.

The Institute Phaser seems to be based on the TOS type 2 phaser/phaser pistol (Starfleet divides its handheld phasers into types of increasing size and power, with the type 3 being the 'rifle' and operated with two hands, the type 2 being the normal pistol-analogue and the type 1 being a small 'pocket pistol'-analogue, usually used when discretion or concealment is needed).
Oooh, I'm definitely getting that Turret replacer, it reminds me of turrets in Rust (albeit, Rust lets you arm auto turrets with almost any firearm). Honestly my only gripe with it, is that it uses Pipe weapons exclusively. I think it'd be a lot cooler if different tiers of turret used different guns. Tier 1 could be the Pipe gun, Tier 2 could be a Combat Rifle, and then Tier 3 would be the "Assault Rifle" (the Machine Gun). Alternatively the Handmade Assault Rifle (the AK) could be used.

I feel like the turrets should have a camera or some sort of sensor at the front to detect enemies, the pre-war turrets had a light that made it look like it had a built in sensor.
Really love the winter landscape for the video Dak. I did have a quick question about the MG69 standalone. Does it use the vanilla AR animations. Or will it use the AR reanimated patch for your original MG69?
I personally don't use the reanimations, but if you do, grab the MG69 patch if you don't want weird animations. This will sacrifice the charging handle cocking on the original AR, but it's better than nothing.
There's so many great mods, this is why we need more mod space for consoles. I know Todd said they wouldn't because it would break a lot of mods, but the 2023 update will do that anyways so I don't see any other reason not to do it. 😔 I'm also very hyped for the attachment pack I keep checking the mod page lol. Don't get me wrong Dak please take your time and don't burn yourself out trying to get it done, it's just I'm very excited. Hope you had a good Christmas and have a great New Years. I'm gonna be honest, I don't really know where else to ask this, but I'm a big fan of both of your designs for the Assault Rifle replacer, but was wondering if there was any way to add them in as their own weapons rather than replacers so that I could have both of them in my playthrough.
well using the mod showcased in this video, paired with my most recent replacer. that will get both in-game at the same time, but if you also want the vanilla AR on top of those 2, then it won't really work until someone makes yet another standalone

The Munitions integration for the Institute Heavy Assault Laser is pretty cool, but for the fact that the Munitions mod puts an absurd base value on ECP of 4 caps...which considering its base value of 1 in both FO3 and FONV, makes it an absolute absurdity to fire out of a "low damage high fire rate" weapon...unless you change the base value to be more in line with 5mm or .38. I'm not the only one to notice this as there is a like 500 byte patch available that does exactly that (in case you don't feel like messing with FO4Edit yourself). I downloaded the Laser RCW mod and Munitions and immediately was like "Nope...I can't justify using this weapon for the same reasons as the base games Submachine Gun." Spitting out .45 rounds that do 10 damage each is a huge waste of money...and .45 only have a base value of 2...ECP are literally twice as expensive for no reason. Side note here...does anyone know of a non-heavy gun mod that uses Fusion Cores or has a weapon modification that does as such?
I have a question about the 500 magnum mod for Xbox I tried to download it and it says that I need far harbor and I have it along with all other dlc and it says recommended with the see through scopes but it still won't let me enable it any ideas??

Eh weapons are kinda boring. I wish they would bring fallout 76 structures like the B.O.S and Enclave F76 kit or the pitt door. Beside I never been much into energy weapons.

How do you have it so the weapon isn’t highlighted when your trying to customise it?

You left out one of the big improvements with Spiffy’s MMWT Redux, in that the towers now spawn MM guards st higher levels
Could you tell me the compass mod you’re using?
Be cool if those towers could be player home settlement workshop where you can build but not count as a settlement.

There's the Zap gun, a scrappy laser weapon that has an upgrade to use fusion cores.

Sound is justifiable, as gases are exploded when the superheated light is shot through it
