- Almost 700 wheel horsepower makes this AMG GT that much more fun to share with you guys. In today's video we look at what makes the AMG GTR stand special. From the weight reduction, added power, greater aero. This thing is truly a track weapon. What do you think? This or a Porsche GT3 RS? The particular car in the video has downpipes along with a eurocharged E30 tune. :)

What GT Car would you buy?
Having owned a GTS and GTR I can tell you that is hard to pick. I Def miss the softer suspension lol , but at the same time I love how firm the GTR feels and the look is mean .... super mean :) , so if I had to pick one the GTR wins 🏆

@@PerformanceOnWheels Only performance car I'd own other than this (right now) would be the GT3RS. Lambos are like Rolexes- Easy lazy choice. I spend a lot of time in London for work and there is a huge Asian daddy's money culture there and they have lambos - It has really turned me off to them seeing all these worthless rich kids that think a shiny gold wrap and loud exhaust is a performance update. Just lame.

Great video- Please take this in the spirit it is intended- as a compliment. A lot of guys have very slick production etc. you guys come across as people who are car guys talking about a car they care about. I'd MUCH rather spend time watching this than any of the other videos on my car type. I really enjoyed it and you are the first that I have watched all the way through. After tracking my car several times and trying different things. A word of caught to folks. If you mess with the rear spoiler PLEASE be careful with the first few laps. It doesn't move too much but the change is significant. It will introduce some oversteer nothing awful or dangerous but you have to drive the car a bit differently. If not you'll be in the fence. Overall this car is just incredible.

Sorry one last thing. With this car if you get it you have to get the carbon ceramic brakes. And if you go with the matte paint you HAVE TO get a wrap. It is nearly impossible without shelling out huge money to paint match that type of paint. so if you do get a big scratch or rock chips etc you will need to get the entire car painted. And the other reason is you want to be able to wash it off- Eventually, you will get shiny spots and it'll again need a respray for spend the 6K and get a matte wrap. If you guys are ever out in Nor Cal and want to do a video with my beast with bigger turbos and catless (don't tell the state) as well as the HHT we can probably do that- If you have race license we can go jam it around Laguna or Sears Point or whatever they call it now.

I have the 2020 AMG GTR with Renntech stage 3. I bought a new Z06 got rid of it within 10K miles. I had dreamed of owning a vette since I was a kid and my older cousin took me out hooning that thing around. I was so let down within about The build quality and attention to detail is shambolic. People will say the vette is the best deal in performance- it isn't. Handling isn't great compared to European cars, the interior is just awful with cheap leather and plastic. Body panels squeaking and separating within 5K miles. The AMG GTR is nearly perfect- luxury, looks and amazing performance. The weirdest thing about a Vette is if you join the big vtee forum all they seem to do is whine about someone else not giving them the Corvette wave (two vette drivers waiving to each other) and how they raced a Honda accord and one light to light. Ridiculous dudes with middle aged paunches. Sorry kind of went off but I am so mad at that car.

Fascinating example of just how tacky and cheap of a look can be achieved on these cars with the "right" aesthetic mods done to it. Underneath is a bad ass machine though.
Needs to get that splitter repaired for the price the owner is asking. Going to have to pass and look at 2020's refresh.
