- We think that the Mercedes-Benz AMG GTR is currently, probably the most underrated and best value for money Supercar / GT car. We take it to our local Tesco. The long way round, via some epic Yorkshire country roads. Enjoy... we did.

You get use to the size, bonnet length, driving position and throttle very quickly. 6 weeks in and 2000 miles down and mine fits like a glove now.

The Front Fascia, Menacing Panamerica Vertical Grille, the Hood with the notches, The Rear air holes, the Center Exhaust... My GoodNess Mercedes.. could you have made it any Better. The top of the line AMG GT Black series.. is just Pure Insanity. German Engineering @ it's Finest.... This car Punches Porsche straight in the nose...... Mercedes a Leader in F1 wings & tech. Thank you.

Great content guys. Can I suggest you add “chapters” to your videos based on sections of subject content. New sub keep it up. I would totally buy one of these in Green Hell. Underrated when they bottomed in price. Now holding up on the recession due to sky high auto rates.

This car will certainly go up in value. Limited run, only 3 years of production. One of the top ten fastest track cars straight out of the factory - faster than a Performanté and currently half the price. But more importantly -- this car has the "it" factor. It drives amazingly well, the steering is just as good as any 911 GT3RS I've ever driven, and I think it will age quite nicely. Compare the production numbers to 991.1 and .2 GT3s and I think this will be a future classic.
I have GTR, had 991.RS, have 997 GT2 with coilovers, and a huracan evo rwd (had Perf) and I think my GTR is just an absolute MONSTER... Best steering of all , heavy, precise, the front end is best front end ive felt in terms of outright stick..... im happy its slept on , makes it more special to me :)
PS, my evo rwd steering is way better than perf with dynamic steering which SUCKS!!!
@@iLLGT2 i feel like they killed the value of the Perf by releasing the Evo. everyone i’ve talked to says the Evo is better

AMG GTS/R/C are all excellent cars. They should all hold extremely well as time goes by and go up in value.
Why? All AMG cars usually depreciate like crazy and it has the same engine as C63. I like the looks, but nothing suggests it should appreciate.

Just found this after trying to decide if a GTS would be a good keeper now most of the depreciation is out of the way , then I saw you drive past my house 😂The colour is more Monaco than Marsden tho 😁

The 6.2L has absolutely Nothing to do with the polar ice caps melting. Making a battery for an EV puts out 10X the CO2 that making a gas powered car does. So by buying a Tesla, you are front-loading CO2 emissions by 10X. When you have finally broken even 10 years later, you will need a new battery, thus restarting the cycle. Just been to look at one of these. They haven't gone up in value at all. Lost 30k in 3 years
My 911 Turbo S has lost less than 10k in 3 years
Correct, here in the US that have continued to go up in value.
How much are they new? £150K Much more than 105k? So they have lots tens of thousands
A 992 turbo S are now exchanging for 40k over the list pice in the UK
I can't think of any normal mass produced Mercedes car at all, that has gone up in value.
Cheapest in the uk right now is 102k with a list price before option of a 152k. When new. I make that a loss of around 50K with out options
922 turbo s have gone up by 40k cheapest in UK is 35k over list price when new.

what happened?
It aged pretty well actually. The new AMG GT is 800lbs heavier, AWD, no rear transaxle, lost front mid engine layout, 9 speed auto instead of the 7 speed dct.
Completely different car than the Gen 1
Its NOT a Black series. Future classic is the Black series. To be truly classic, it need to be best of the best, not the lower models, so Black series it the gold standard, lower models are bland once we seen the Black Series model.
Wrong the GTR was the perfect model.
