- Thats right, how beast is the new Mercedes AMG GT R? It's time to find out. We at Supercar Advocates put it through its paces, let us say that this must be the most intoxicating exhaust found on a twin turbo V8. It is unbelievably insane, you could say that its a culprit on the streets, something that the EPA would not like, that's for sure. In blue it looks absolutely menacing, its tale end likes to whip out with a huge disregard to nearby cars and of course, the environment. This must be one of the most mental cars or supercar that we have driven this year. Time to bring out the whip and lets try tame this animal.

I love this car and it sounds so beast but the F type SVR has the craziest sounding V8, it’s just so wild
It’s nice to see this AMG GTR in Brilliant Blue Metallic, don’t get me wrong Green Hell Magno is a signature color, but all of the colors for this car are just amazing, like Designó Selenite Grey Magno or Designó Diamond White Metallic 🤤😈

Honest opinion. As nice as this video might be (with good sound from the car). However the video's made very bland from the constant 'walkabout' shots and the clear camcorder exposure settings, it feels like the video could've better put together. Some of the music choice was a bit shoddy as well. On the flip side there's some engaging presentation which makes up for the video. Thanks for the video buds!

have you heard of dodge vipers? they have done a lot especially in racing till they got restricted.. its not that im biased, my track one has 820 pounds of torque..more than an enzo.. but its the 8 litres up to 9.4 which gives them more torque then other supercars ,if your in melb check it out..

2 concernes. 1, the welds on roll cage looks like crap. An expensive car should be perfect.
2, the crackle pop backfire sound will cause the valves to crystalize and burn.
I can imagine the repair bill and how long before it needs repaired and how often.
Otherwise its freaking awesome!!

still I don't understand why AMG didn't fit the more powerful e63s engine with over 600hp for this supposedly the ultimate version of AMG GT.585 PS don't sound that much nowadays.
That would be next level...! Maybe black series??
because horsepower don't matter. The specially tuned m178 engine is much more better than the m177 e63s engine. e63s is all wheel drive and it is a heavier car. The engine on gtr is far more superior and doesn't need horsepower. At this point only lightweight can make the car faster on gtr

Not very beast. Bring all supercars down to under $100,000 then you would have more customers buy them. It doesnt cost $100,000 to make each car so why should we pay more than that?
Beautiful car design but the sound is awful. Does not match the classy design.

what a load of crap this review is. This car is nothing more than a German viper that sounds like a muscle car. I would take the sound of a NA v6, flat crank V8, V10, or V12 over this anyday
If I want noisy, I shall buy a HARLEY. If I pick speed , buy a TESLA S. PLAID. 0 to 60 MPH 2.3 seconds. Quarter mile 9.3 seconds, Sorry about that.
