It’s a 750 unit limited numbers car with enhancements from motorsport in 3 areas: Suspension, Aerodynamics and lightweight construction, all allowing a blistering Nurburgring time of 7.04.
And it’s just one of the best looking cars on the road.

The AMG GT and GT R in particular will go down as one of the best looking cars in recent memory in my opinion.
16:03 That sounds beautiful, even with the new regulations in mind 🔥 Not quite as aggressive as the pre-facelift GTR, but still one of the best sounding modern V8s 👍
what is pre-facelift? which model it is? thanks
iCockaine pre-facelift is just the GT range but before this minor (mid life cycle update). It has the older interior, older headlights, better exhaust sound, older steering wheel, etc...

I’ve been using TLC for 3 month now on my AMG GLC63S and it an awesome product. It stays on after multiple washes. AMP is also a mad product.

I feel like I’d really want the option to have the magnetic suspension that’s on the GT-R, an available choice on the Pro. Same thing with the seats. It would be awesome for it to have the daily-ability, and have it be one of the most bad-ass GT cars on the road.

What's "not so great" about the SL65 Black series?
The front end of this Black Series is similar to the new AMG GT3 Evo which is similar to the Vantage GTE/3 AMR.
The Black Series should feature a flatplane variant of the 4.0 V8 TT, like that used in the Vantage AMR GTE. Lots of power and torque potential.
Also hearing rumors that the flatplane will end up used in future Astons such as the 2021 Vanquish AM9, which whilst currently running a mild hybrid V6, has the potential to run V8 and V12 variants at different spec and price points.
The Black Series, sounds like a different version of the 570/720 engine. Could explain the exhaust sound. But just a guess. If Im right you heard it hear first..lol

I am still thinking about keeping the normal Gtr also because of its brutal sound and it’s ability to use it like a daily supercar.

I think you should take your GTR Pro to Renntech for an exhaust and power upgrade!
You keep repeating that with the new laws the amg cars are more quieter,but i have a question, why at lamborghini is not the case?
Did you say that the panel under the car increase structural rigidity is increased by 70%?! That’s hard to believe that such a rigid car could have the stiffness increased that much considering it wasn’t exactly a wobbly car to begin with
Awesome video man! I really wish if AMG makes the black series 4 Matic Plus but it won't happen. I reckon it would do 0-60 mph in sub 3 seconds. And I am almost sure the AMG GT wasn't designed to have such a power train with front axle.
Apparently the next gen AMG GT (coming after the Black Series) will have be V8 Hybrid with 4Matic+ 👍

does the gt4 use the 6.2 na or 4.0 bi turbo?
GT4 uses the 4.0l engine, GT3 uses the 6.2l.
I disagree with the flat plane crank statement. I think they sound fantastic. Take in consideration the Mustang GT350r. Possibly the best sounding engine in the past 10 years.
True but crossplane crank V8s will always sound better. The main issue is surely with the exhaust though? Most of the flatplane crank V8s have crossover exhaust manifold that ruin the growl?? (Or something along those lines).
@@DanielSadjadian That's just something manufacturers do to save room or whatever. The cross plane crank has almost nothing to do with the exhaust configuration or piping.
@@johnnazar180 I know, I just meant that a lot of the cars with flatplane crank V8s happen to have those types of exhausts thus leading to the public perception that flatplane crank V8s sound bad. Also don't they do that to reduce exhaust back pressure and increase power?
Right! I def prefer a screaming F1 sound over a muscle car growl. Nice car tho, just not for me
@@DanielSadjadian Ahh I see. Well flat planes are more expensive and generally used on higher end vehicles i.e Ferarri's. But yeah that's a way of producing more power. Just ruins the sound. But so do turbos, which pretty much destroy any good exhaust sounds.
Thats the gear shifter all new mercedes should have including the A200 standared and premium and premiun+ AMG Line i hate it on the steering column like mine is
I understand that the R is the model line but surely the 63 on the c63 was also a model line, yet is was still called a c63 black.
