Raz called and asked me to help him with a Mercedes AMG GT R Twin test, I didn't think I would actually get to drive a GT R! To make the day even better, Sid (Sideway Sid) turned up in a friends Mercedes AMG SLS and joined in, you really couldn't make this up. I managed to film my own review here, I hope you enjoy it :-)

I was thinking to myself I wish Joe would tell us more detail about the car and the experience and then you summed it up nicely by saying that it was just too damn good for you to miss out on by filming/talking. That said it all to me. Superb.

No matter what anyone else says about the Colour Options for this Car. Yeah, the yellow is nice too.
But this absolutely *stunning* green is definitely the best Choice for this amazing Car.
AMG knew very well why they 1. developed this Monster on the Ring and 2. gave it this Colour called "Green Hell".

Based on what I hear I'm so glad AMG have worked on their gearboxes. I heard their older gearboxes were the weak link in the older cars.

damn the GTR is just insane, i saw one a couple of days ago and it was a real eyecatcher (still gonna stick to my bmw tho hehe)
Hi Joe, you should have plenty more chances to drive Tim's new Mercedes GTR when it arrives later this year so you can carry on your enjoyment of this super fast vehicle but I did notice as you are a big fella you looked a bit cramped or did you have more than enough room also did the harness restrict you from leaning over to find the glovebox for example. Also I do follow this guy and boy he has a massive car collection also his dad is a petrol head but yes both great guys like you who just love great cars. I did notice you did not giggle as much on this Vlog but you looked very focused not surprised with the price tag plus not your car. Regards Alan B

After driving this car, what do you think of mercedes? These last generation of cars they are making are simply a big step up. Do you think BMW will keep up and when? For me, in the last 3-4 years mercedes is getting ahead of the competition, if bmw wants to keep up they need to come up with a proper sports car. M4 GTS and i8 are not enough.

Yeah one of the all time great engines, AMG have done an incredible job with this unit too though.
THE BIG QUESTION IS : where is bmw's supercar ?????, we're waiting for years now !!!!!!!
