With even performance cars, in general, getting more sanitized and boring by the month, I am so glad AMG still has the stones to do crazy stuff from time to time.

You do realize that the 911 GT2 RS has set the new world record on the Nurburgring for production cars. I guess that's not 'mad' enough for you.
Thats the beauty of AMG, back when they stuck a 6L V8 on a station wagon until now, even though they are kind of held up by regulations and such, they still have the madness in the back of their heads that makes them build these awesome cars. If it wasn't for the RS6 Avant, i would have an E63S 4matic Plus no doubt
E63s = Daily
AMG GTR = Sunday drives
On your Sunday drive just hope a Dodge Viper ACR pulls up along side of you

TechGod no not too much. It has cylinder deactivation so you don't have to be using all the power when you don't need it.
Do away with any rules! Use either whenever.

King Of the monsters I don't believe they're going to be building those for a few months or more. I would say just let them use the car they showed off but I doubt it's a fully functional prototype. Can't wait to see them drive it as well that is, if they can get their hands on one. A valkyrie v project 1 battle sounds amazing imo. People don't like how those cars look but they look good to me and I'm a aspiring designer.

Can’t go wrong with either one. I want both, one for crazy fun with 2 passengers while the other just got daily driving with 5 passengers and relax.

The e63 s simply makes more sense , more seats , 4wd , more power and more space and yet cheaper , however the looks of the GTR is just amazing
An E63 estate would probably chop 2 hours off my trips to Scandinavia to see my daughter... shame I'm "sensible" and went for a C180 :))

Conclusion - If you really want to compete the 991 Turbo make a 4wd AMG GT-R and don't charge more money for it because it's already very expensive.

Is it possible to adjust Henry's mic pickup quality during the driving segments? Often times his thick accent is muffled by the sound of car music, and the RUclips auto-generated captions aren't helpful in these instances. Otherwise a gorgeous production, as always.

*+ Carfection Can someone Explain this to me, why is this E63s 600hp with the 4 liters engine, and the C63 is 460hp with the 4 liters engine ? is it detuned, or whats going on, can someone make the C63 600hp too with a tune, because the engine is detuned*
Club Bmw Amg just the way the tune the engine and the turbos to make each car different but similar with the same engine
I guess less weight so less power needed? Or could be because they want you to buy bigger car if you want more power. If its the same engine yeah you can chip it and tune it its no problem
GT's got the dry sump while all the others have the wet sump and also the turbos are different. It's not just all about software tough
The E63 S is heavier than the C63 S so is relative. Even the GT R isn't pushing the numbers of the E63 S because the GT R is lighter.
It's all about marketing and brand continuity. The smaller cheaper car shouldn't have the same power is the bigger more expensive one.

I notice you keep jiggling back to the centre of the seat. So bucket seats don't provide support - or you are way too small for seats?

I agree. The GTS is basically a modified M4. There's no way it should be compared to pure sport/super cars like the 911 and GT-R as long as it still has the 4 series DNA.

Of course a AWD will always be faster of the line then a RWD because of traction.. But I'll always pick the GT over the S-class any day, specifically the GT-C roadster (I gotta have a roadster)..
Unless you have a family of course, then the S-class will be the perfect car if you can have only 1 car, family and sports car in one..

AMG should take a page from the '97 - '02 DIABLO 4 the GT-R... make it AWD but 67%R and 33%F and (separate LSDs)
I will ask again. What is going on with modern supercars. 600bhp and cant break 200mph? Go back to the 90s and look at the figures. Xj220, Mc F1, f40. All with modest power outputs compared to today. Surely its not all aero drag.

What happened to the old days of saying All Wheel Drive (AWD)? 4wd is known as a off road vehicle. Subaru use AWD.
Since it can disconnect the front axle isn't it actually 4wd ?

Just to complicate it further, some off road vehicles actually have 6 wheels, if all their wheels are driven, is that 4 wheel drive?

I really do not like the fact that the GTR, the top of the list in the sports car from AMG is not significantly faster than the big saloon car...Not a good things..put proper power in the GTR..put it with 660 hp

The AMG E63 S is probably the best super saloon right now, the RS6 has no chance against this beast, wait till the latest M5 to battle it.
For £7,500 you think they could colour-match the paint between body and bumper on the GT-R. That would be going back if it was mine.
