    Thank you so much, I’m from Montreal, Canada. I’m not very good in English but the way you did this video is perfect. I was so confuse sometimes about the score. Now I understand.

    So the player number (1 or 2) follows the player positions at the start of a rally? A player who started off as player #1 will not always be player #1?

    • @ZSistersPickleball
      @ZSistersPickleball  29 дней назад

      @@KC-ed1dj that is correct. Whomever is on the right side at the side out ( when the serve opportunity comes back to a team) is server 1 and the partner is server 2 for that sequence.

  • @ZSistersPickleball

    So who ever is on the right hand side (facing the net) would be 0-0-1 the next time - if no one scored preciously it still would be Jack as the first server. If Jack won the the point he would serve from the left - and partner would be on the right serving 1-0-1.

      Whom ever is the first server ( both teams) will be even from the right side through out the game. Their partners will be even from the left court throughout the game.

    So, at the START of the game, the very first server who is 002 serves; looses a point but NOT on a side out…..Does that mean his or her partner serves???

    • @ZSistersPickleball
      @ZSistersPickleball  3 месяца назад

      At the very beginning of the game the person on the right serves 002. They lose the rally. He is the only server. Side out . The other team will serve and both partners will serve one after the other. Let’s say they lose both of their serves. Side out again. Original server now calls 001 because the right hand side serves first. The only rotation with one server is the first one in the very beginning of the game.

    Very confusing and poor scoring system there is no way most people can memorize all that, at least in badminton it is way more simple, 1 service, even on right and odd on left, none of this switcheroo nonsense, 1 becomes 2 and 2 becomes 1 crap.

    • @ZSistersPickleball
      @ZSistersPickleball  20 дней назад +1

      @@jimmydandy9364 it can be very confusing indeed. Once you play it on the court it does get easier. There also rally scoring - one point given each point played. Volleyball went that way years ago. Thanks for commenting.

      @@ZSistersPickleball I’m talking about Carrie’s return at 3:40. She returns a serve, it goes over the net, it bounces in the kitchen and that is declared a fault. A ball can’t bounce first in the kitchen?

    • @ZSistersPickleball
      @ZSistersPickleball  Год назад

      @@dr.figvideos3303 Thanks for giving me the timing marker. Carrie hit a winner in the kitchen that Anne could not return, so it was a fault on Anne's part and her partner Jill served the next point. In pickleball mistakes are faults, so I guess that's why I called it that. Technically, Carrie made a winner! I hope that helps. She was sneaky on that short return!
