- This is the Ultimate Black Diablos Guide for all the events! Here are all of its attacks and my best advice on taking on this Super powerful version of Diablos!
Boooy imma farm *5-6* only even i'm in endgame. The *7~*9 can get the f off my radar. I ain't gonna risk my sanity for above *6 of this abomination
I feel that haha. I can take out the 7 star version now, but Wyvern Gems are so hard to come by I might just run from the 8 star version RIP.
Exactly my thoughts as well. Will try and farm 6* for plates and maybe give 7* a chance or two, but I wont even be touching 8*@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS
@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS True, WGS really pain in the ass when it comes to high tier mons. The only 3 8*+ mons i skipped for WGS farm is Barroth,Diablos,and Legiana , boooy those 3 really tough
No joke. My wife and I aren’t end game but we can breeze through the 5 star without using an ult but the 6 star we had to use two ults a piece and even then we struggled. BD needs some balancing…. Or just give us more time to compensate for the constant running and diving.

Yes the hit boxes are crazy. Its sooooo frustrating. I couldn't even think to touch her the 1st time she was released because I was too weak. Now I can kill regular 5* diablos without much issue unless I mess up on my dodging. Her rush down and hitbox size drives me crazy though. I think I need to gear up and power up one more time. I almost got her once, but my dragon piercer missed😢

Black Diablos event begins monday 20th 9am (local Time)
I have never seen a tempered monster cart hunters so quick. People assume its a cakewalk after all the power scaling then she bursts out the ground or charges and deletes you.

Before: barely survive normal diablos
Now: can down normal diablos with a level 7 paralysis hammer
This is the only thing I've looked forward to in awhile. Only because I was way too weak when Black Diablos appeared last time. I don't know if any of the gear is even worth it. The weapons have -30 which is ridiculous... I guess we'll see
That -30 Affinity actually doesnt matter as much as it looks. They have a 15% higher base attack stat and thats only 30% chance. From my experience using the weapons, it almost feels like it doesnt matter.
The bow is the strongest weapon in the game due to the Charge 3 = Pierce Lv. 4. The gear is also worth because each part has its place in a build. The helm can allow you to consistently break parts and stun monsters faster Its totally worth the grind.
Stuck on the urgent quest. I almost kill it but then she runs away and wastes time. So annoying

how r u supposed to deal dmg if u have to dodge all the time?
Use evade extender. If you have it at level 2 (Kadachi vambraces Grade 6) you only have to roll once for most of black diablos attacks. Long sword can parry and Great sword users can tackle. Sword and Shield users can use guard heavy builds with high defense too. Bow mains can charge sidestep out of the way etc.
As a dual blades mean black diablos sucks to fight I'm trying to do six star black diablos in the seasonal story right now holy moly

Oh for sure! You'll just have to dodge a little more, but Girros Hammer should do work against Black Diablos.

Very nice Video as always. Do you think it is worth to build Black Diablos Bow with B. Diablos Helmet, Pukei Chest, Diablos Glove, Rathalos Chest and Jura Boots?
So that i have Partbreaker lv.4 and Focus lvl.4?

That might be overkill haha. From my experience, using the helm alone (part breaker 2) was really good at breaking parts at a consistent feel. Focus 5 and part 3 is a perfect combination.

I know its been six months but you can also get focus 5 partbreaker 3 using the
Azure rathalos Helm, banbaro chest, diablos gloves, rathalos Belt, and jyur pants

Man give attacks tutorial while using melee weapons since monsters tends to move differently while facing range weapon
That’s false. Their movements are exactly the same. Black Diablo also chases after you so much that ranged weapons aren’t even safe. In fact, it’s probably worse because she’ll use her charging attacks MORE and dig more since she won’t use her tail swing or shoulder rams as much.
Did you notice your 2nd tile is titled Jyratodus Monster Guide Entry?
Well that was fast. I decided to do it for fun to see exactly how long it would take for someone to notice. That was a fail LOL.
I’m having difficuly removing the tail from the Black Diablos for the new 20th Anniversary Quest. Trying to get behind it with the Cera Coilbender bow is impossible. It just turns towards me again.
Any suggestions for a better chance of removal before the event finishes?
The best way to do it is to aim the ult at its tail after it charges or comes out the ground. Aim for below the tip of the tail and it might just be enough.

Is this Monster all that useful? Just wondering how much I should try and grind on off work hours. I went out and drove around for Jyuratodus and Legiana quite a bit, but I desperately needed their materials for my gear in order to help me advance to higher stars.
Its super useful. But I would only play during the boost hours on Friday-Sunday if your time is limited. The weekly spawns are almost not worth it (I killed 79 Pink Rathain that week). But I personally wont be able to play much Saturday or play at all so I'm going as hard as I can.
To put it in perspective, the bow is the best DPS weapon in the game. If your a bow main, this thing is a must to grind.
I'm just now learning bows, mainly because 8* Diablos is a wall for me. My aim still needs lots of work, I can't quite keep my phone steady enough. Is there any armor I should try and get to level 6 for BBlos?@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS
Just so you know, after a perfect dodge you can immediately fire with your bow and it’ll be a fully charged shot - you can even then do the half-damage follow-up attack.
No need to keep charging after a perfect dodge - I see you do that a few times in this video and wanted to make sure you know.
Erm yes you do lol. Perfect dodging only adds +2 you still need to do 1 more if you didn’t charge to Charge level 2 first.
Also those are words from an inexperienced player on black diablos. You want to pause for a sec and reposition correctly or you can get run over by her chain attacks 😒
I use great sword for normal diablos since it’s kind of slow and I can charge attacks, but should I not use it since black diablos is so aggressive?
It totally can work, but you might find yourself GS tackling a lot if it chains after another move. Id focus on the head to break the horns and hopefully you can take it out quickly.

Yep. She'll sometimes just chain attacks together one after the other. I spent a lot of potions because of it RIP.
The attacks aren't fun or challenging. They're just lazy, tme wasting attacks. Had one go underground 3 times in a row and waste the last 20 seconds of the timer...
Absolute agree with that lol. Even in World Black Diablos was just a rage train. But then again its only been a little over 2 months since the game has been out. Elder Dragons and other variants will be fun for those attacks lol.

I just say the weaknesses because gear and weapons are different for every different weapon type. Back then I used Legi bow now I can use Black Diablos Bow.
It’s also a lot of info to clunk in builds with all the attack patterns. I’d rather just focus solely on the attacks and patterns for the sake of quality.
@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS yeah thats fair, i just figured hitting the monster with their weakness generally would put more dmg out put meaning less time for error but im still new lol
What weapon
Effing hitbox. You cant get near to him even if he is wide open and exposed. And sometimes he runs edge to edge of map several times, wasting time.
4:32 this is unfair full front and side attack I have never seen before, only perfect dodge save your life after this, jump front attack, horn swing both side and in front, 2 legs stomp both side and in front, wtf
It really is 😩 I’ve seen it so much that I have to double or triple roll just to make sure I don’t get hit. But her hitboxes are still insanity
The bow make -30% right ? So if we use 4 level critical eye +30% make reduce to be 0% affinity right ?
Its totally not worth it though. The Black Diablos weapons have a 15% higher raw base damage than the original. Combine that with the Lv. 4 Pierce at only Charge Shot Lv. 3 (2 Flashes) it's the highest DPS bow in the game even with the affinity debuff. Honestly, there are battles where the affinity debuff will only proc once, twice, or even not at all.
