The fact that I watched all your streams, woke up early to watch all the sessions... just goes to show how much I love this sport and your work! Brrrake for the win!❤
Waiting eagerly for the video if Mercedes got affected by TD and maybe just not that team, if any team has been affected, I understand it'd be harder to pick up since they bring upgrades.
Aston Martin the only team I know the flexi wing affected they talked about to during the pre race show last week and a tiny bit this week. They didn’t mention any other team at least not one f1tv anyway.
Merc didn't get affected by the TD if they would have, they would have at least a new spec floor. But they used the same part from Zandvrott. The only teams to be affected was Red bull floor, Aston Martin Front nose.
@@MuhammadNiz007 Red Bull floor? Very unlikely, they reverted to the previous 'Italian' floor in Singapore because the new floor didn't work well there on Friday. And that would have been pretty illegal don't you think.
"I think they [Williams] could do some damage with a slippery car" Well, Logan sure did his usual bit and did quite a bit of damage to the barriers with his slippery car over the weekend!
Hi Blake, I never done this before, but purely because of admiration for your clear language, presentation and obviously a lot of effort... I was trying to 'get you a coffee '. Just some support...but since credit card seems the only payment option, I failed. Please notice that a credit card seems an archaic option to many, if not most people outside the US. Perhaps its interesting for you to add (an)other option(s), which will increase the number of people able to thank you for your efforts. 🎉
McLaren has done a great job. Mercedes really shot themselves in the foot by not fixing the fundamental flaws with last year's car. I'd argue that even Ferrari has improved their car over last year. That said, Red Bull has also improved their car. They said they were very overweight last year. This year's car is on the minimum weight limit. That would have given them lots of pace. I don't think we can say that all of the Technical Directives haven't had an effect on the Red Bull or any other car. There are so many variables with all of the teams that comparing relative performance year on year, or even race on race, is not possible.
Love this…rather watch this than the others who sit around and speculate why drivers are different without any data. I subscribed to the coffee site. Keep the videos long and go down every rabbit hole you find. I’ll watch every minute.
Loved watching it live & thoroughly enjoyed rewatching it now post-race. Will you do analysis of the race itself at all or will you just cover it on the EBP? Because Lando looked REALLY competitive & lost all his time in the slow speed which bodes well for Qatar.
The McLaren does seem to be well balanced compared to non-Red Bull cars on different tracks. Does Red Bull have a fundamental flaw on bumpy tracks? Will their engineers have learned to setup the car for bumpy tracks from the start and therefore not show any "weakness" as they car has shown when needing to prevent plank wear or eliminate bottoming out? We will see.
@@uncleelias I know like the RB, has a wide operating window. Besides spa and monza which were only caused by not being ready for those tracks, they've consistently either been equal 2nd fastest or 2nd fastest every race.
I hope all of the F1 enthusiasts can start to learn more, and then we get to have so much more interesting conversations bout the sport! It just adds so many layers and I am so glad you enjoy it!
1:35 - am I reading that graph wrong? It seems to suggest Williams got pole and RB were 0.5% off the pace Unless it's something to do with wet vs dry times

Love the T-shirt! Left Handed Giant is one of my favourite breweries! Would def buy you a pint if you are ever in town. As for the race, while it wasn't an absolute classic it showed what a great circuit it was. Loads of different overtaking points and not just DRS runs on the guy in front
LHG is one of my faves and their brewpub on the water is amazing! Maybe next time I'm about I'll run into ya. Honestly a good solid race especially if you ignore Verstappen running off 🤣
Honestly, it looks like Sandbagging Singapore to get the constructors at home for Honda. - Plus to generate interest for the TD manipulation. It's Show business.
Its difficult to say if they where hit by the td because they changed their floor. They also went out in Japan to make a statement. Also Japan is the perfect track for the rb19. Even if the fia came forward and said it was Redbull and heres the proof he would still deny and then tell you your eyes are lying to you.
Horner said they would not be affected last year with the floor rule changes and they weren't. Horner said they would not be affected by the TD18 and they clearly weren't or at least the effect is negligible.
We now have Timestamps! Thanks so much @MrSabumaru

i would put redbull(max) lol, if you add perez, its totally different

Hello. What methods do you suggest? I am not sure any other options are supported by the platform.
it would be interesting to hear your opinion/analysis of suitability of each team's cars for the various tracks...

The best channel for watching Formula 1 analysis.
Thanks for your efforts and your great contents.
That's very kind of you. Thank you!
This is amazing analysis! I love watching your videos. They are so much more informative in a short amount of time. GOLD Level content
I'm glad you enjoyed it. This one was a bit too long but it was more of a live stream chat that ended up being a bit too long 🤣 thank you though

We'll definitely talk about the race tonight on The Engine Braking Podcast!
I cannot understand this difference in turn 4 and 5. Its so large its like a different formula!
seems like max is driving the car and anyone else is just a passenger
Nice
Love your work 😊
I wonder what excuses Toto will come up with now
That hat 🔥
Disappointed with Alpha Tauri not signing Lawson ⛳

bad video quality
McLaren should be cooking in Qatar as well, they might be even stronger than they were at suzuka.

If I´m reading your graph correctly, it says Williams got pole on the Canadian GP?
Wet vs dry times maybe?
Williams fastest lap in qualifying in Canada. In Q2

Why is the merc dogshit in the straights ? and how are redbull able to run massive wings and have decent top speeds
The overall drag of the car and how they operate the car is very important. Merc have been weak in straight line all season and last year.
Wonderful analysis! Thank you so much.
You're very welcome!
Any idea when the video of you and Enginemode11 coming out?
1 hour and 17m live.

Unless it's something to do with wet vs dry times
If Canada then yes Williams has the fastest time due to mixed wet dry session. Go on Alex
@@brrrake Ah ok - thanks for that. The "% to pole" threw me as it's technically "% to fastest lap from any Q session" i guess?
@@CertifiedSlamboy Yes exactly. I need to update the langauge used on the chart title. Very good point!!
why does it say williams got pole in canada? graphic at 0:56
The title is incorrect. It's actually gap to fastest lap in qualifying. ALB had the fastest lap.
