- Every Friday and Saturday night, Dreamworld closes all it's rides and turns into a food truck pop up market, so Spanian makes his way up to the Gold Coast to try it all out.

Just to clear some things up about our review! Thanks heaps brother Spanian for reviewing our Kai! No doubt many people are going to come and see if our Raw Fish actually has coleslaw in it! Sorry to say it doesn’t 😊 It’s tough comparing our raw fish to Samoa because we are 2 different cultures! Our raw fish is marinated in white vinegar and lemon for a number of hours, rinsed. Then add coconut cream, CUCUMBER, CAPSICUM & RED ONION! Sorry to disappoint those who may like theirs with coleslaw 😂 Also our Hangi are done in steamers. Living on the Gold Coast with fire restrictions don’t allow us to do it the traditional way! But please, you are more than welcome to come and check us out for yourselves. We are NATIVE FLAVAZ! Ngati Porou HARD! ❤

Spanian if you like german food, there is a German restaurant in Narellan Sydney. I cooked there for 2 years. The pork knuckle is a must. The restaurant is called Bohemian euro restaurant

The fact the first time you've had hangi and it was from a food truck is wild. It's Maori and cooked in the ground for hours unless they cheat with the above ground layer coolers
I'm Maori from Sydney but I agree cuz. Traditional is about different then heated ovens..
Straight to the kiwi food, THUMBS UP brutha! Love the hangi set ups in Aussie, but cant beat the traditional, dig the ground half the day to prepare, n cook for a few hours in a hole in the ground! But I still get down on the fast food style hangi, when in Aussie. Fry break, fills me up good n proper.
