You will get paid while at orientation.
I've been looking into getting my CDL through TMC, I've noticed that their trucks have no APU, I'm a bigger fella and sweat when it's 10 degrees out lol, do they frown upon idling or how does keeping cool while parked work?

Hey Drew! Thanks for watching my videos and thanks for reaching out with your question. You are absolutely correct our trucks do not have APU and TMC does frown upon idling our trucks. But if you need the idol, then you need the idol good sleep is very important, TMC does pay based on performance so if you do idle your truck, your MPG points may go down which will affect your percentage pay negatively. So it is up to you to do what you want while you’re in your truck, but finding some other ways to keep cool, instead of idling the truck Would be ideal.

There are so many variables! But I would say 60-70k if you go home every weekend. 65-75 if you stay out a few months of the year. 75+ if you stay out a lot. 100k+ if you become a trainer.
