A few things I do not like about AirSense 11 thus far (a week into it) in comparison to 10: it does not show total events for the night when ending therapy, to get this information they are forcing you to use the app whereas 10 the information was on the screen when you turned it off; when turning "on", 11 does NOT turn on a light that brightens the room so if using Ramp auto, you have to wait a few seconds to know if you turned it on; the on button is further out to the back on the 11 so I have to really reach; the swivel was so cool on the 10. EDIT on "events" - changed the settings on Patient View to Advance as per Nick's recommendation and events per night is now visible.

As many folks note here, the 10 is just a more robust machine. Do some research on the hose connection problem and the heater burnout problem before buying an 11.

Just purchased the AirSense 10 for $585.....the Airsense 11 $989. Price difference makes the Airsense 10 a no-brainer.

airsense 10 have 90 bend with the flex hose, and it is very help to keep machine facing to the users direction. But airsense 11 cannot keep like that due to strait hose connection. it is difficult to use and not user freindly.

The blower motor in the 11 model is smaller than the 10 model. It’s also the same motor used in the travel model.😊

Will it last 5 years?? I doubt it. No swivel on hose and humidifier fill issues. 10 is better.

The swivel head of the heated tube for the S10 is practically bad: it looks cool but worse than the straight design on the S11 or S9. First, it is much more difficult to clean. A 7-foot-long brush is needed, because the brush can only enter from the other end of the tube. However, for the straight-head design tube, you can use a 4-foot-long brush, entering the tube from either end. A 7-foot-long brush is much harder to use. Second, it does not save space because the power plug also goes to the back of the S10, but the plug is a very long and straight piece, with no swivel. Thus there is no space saving at all. Third, the heated tube is hard to plug in every day because there is a slot to be fit exactly, but the slot position changes with the swivel, so you have to look at the back of the S10 to match the slot. That is very inconvenient.
Motor: The S10 uses the same larger motor as the S9. I have been using my S9 every night for over 8 years, and it still works. So I bought an S10 to replace the S9. That is mainly why I chose S10 over S11, of which the reliability is unknown to me.
Heated water chamber: There are two versions, one with round aluminum at the bottom (S11) and one with rectangular aluminum at the bottom (S10). Although the round aluminum bottom chamber also works on S10, there is a chamber burning issue if used on S10, because the heating element on S10 is rectangular, larger than the round aluminum. If you have S10, buy the right chamber.
Power button: It is too small, almost tiny on S10. It is just hard to push from the bed. The power button on S9 (and S11) is big and easy to reach.

Yes they should have keep the same swivel hose connection but my problem is in power plug. Bought DC cable to connect my power bank so it draws less power but will not work with 11.

The case the 10 is in... when did they change the style of it? One change is the hose compartment changed from a zipper pocket to a blue elastic band holder.

I have an airsense 10 that stopped communicate to the cell network in April 2022 because its cell modem is outdated. Did they produce a new airsense 10 with an updated cell modem? Or is the only choice to go to an airsense 11?

Does either the 10 or 11 show an AHI number when there is no air pressure? Strange request, yes. Here is why. I am going to get a CPAP right away. I have an AHI of 16.5. I am going to work with my Doctor to reduce the flow of mucas down the back of my throat that is causing me to constantly clear my throat. If we are successful and the mucas stops running, I want to be able to determine if I still need the CPAP machine. How nice if the machine was able to give me an AHI when it is not doing much to reduce the apnea. If not, how do I determine that I still need the machine? I have been unable to train my old and deaf doggie to bark me awake when I gasp for air. Thanks.

My question....Is the 11 as quiet and/or quieter then the 10? that is a big decision maker for me....

I am looking for a back up batter for my Airsense 11. How many watts of power do I need in a battery to get at least 8 hours of sleep? How many watts does the CPAP use per hour? I am looking at batteries from Bluetti to be able to alsob back up my phone overnight.

Unless there is more substance than shown the only benefit is that the air sense 11 might be more profitable to ResMed & Co. There is no benefit for the users.

havent watched the post but this is a no brainer , AirSense 10 auto . as the 11 makes more noise the what chamber is crap (pore shaped and if you are a person with bad hands you would struggle to remove it

Totally agree. I appreciated his info about the 3G being lost and the need to change the product so redesign a model 11 version. I really wanted to know about the users reviews. Did resmed ask the users of the CPAP? I think not. I have arthritis in thumbs and fingers. I had trouble pushing on the water tank and pulling it out, and also reinserting it when trialing at my CPAP providers. I heard on other vlogs that they are louder (a smaller fan has to go faster to generate the same airflow as the larger one on the 10). The same fan is used for the travel one. They are a business saving money but if they are noisy people will look for quieter models or brands.
