- Pilgrims abattoir in Westerleigh , Yate. Not a nice place and it smells pretty bad as well. After the drone is landed a manager speaks to us making all sorts of private airspace remarks.

You do own the airspace up to around 1000ft, you just don’t control it to that height.
A property owners airspace can be infringed upon but flying a drone about roof height doesn’t do that

There was a pilgrims pride abattoir near me in Ashton under lyne until recently, it was closed down less than a year ago,it was an awful place, i used to see the trucks full of poor piggies going there,horrific sight,there was always protesters outside! Apparently someone took a video of the inside where they were gassed and it was absolutely shocking, then all of a sudden it was closed! I won't miss the horrible place!

I know of someone who thinks they own the airspace above the house they live in.
They don't even own the house.
It is rented from a housing authority.
They kick off when the police helicopter flys over the house.
They say the police need written permission from a high Court judge to fly over the house

I've been vegetarian for nearly 30 years and I'm not even 40 yet. I respect a persons personal choice to eat meat but I often wonder how many would continue as carnivores if they witnessed the inside of an abattoir.

Why must he be losing line of sight? He's quite high up, that wouldn't lose line of sight.
If they claim to own the airspace above their property ask them to what height and get them to show you the prohibited zone on an up to date aeronautical map!
They do in fact own the air space above their property to a certain height (maybe?), there was a case years ago where a plane flew over peoples houses taking pictures and then selling them to the house owners; but a Lord took them to court for flying over his Manor/Mansion taking pictures without his permission, the Judge declared that he only owned the airspace up to a height that he could reasonably/practically make use of. Make of that what you will and whether it applies to commercial properties I don't know. The case is documented on the internet somewhere so you could look it up, I remember looking it up years ago when I was trying to find out if I could fly over buildings with my Phantom 2.
@@mickemmett6828 If this were true then Google would not be able to photograph everyone’s “ private” garden! The CAA make it clear that there is no minimum distance you can fly to people and property with a stammer drone but there would be privacy issues if you flew below roof height and looked in windows. I suspect that case you mentioned was more to do with privacy issues than someone owning or controlling their own airspace.
@@mickemmett6828 planes also have to keep a minimum of 500 feet away from property or persons and this may also have been an issue.
@@legacy1830 The Company taking the shots didn't get prosecuted and if I remember there was also a copyright thing going on as well, I'm talking long before the times of drone flyers, maybe 40 or 50 years ago but the Judges decision was that the Lord only owned the air space above his property to a height he could reasonably make use of so that wouldn't have stopped Google taking their shots even if they had existed back then. I have no idea as to whether his judgement has ever been overturned, more likely it's just been forgot about but that won't stop some Legal Eagle trying to use it if they possibly can. I just tried to look it up again but all I get is crappy American stuff coming up.

We lived in Norfolk and Suffolk for 30 years and the roads are easy to get around and hardly ever any congestion. We used to go into Norwich Bury St Edmunds Thetford all over the two counties, all along the coasts too, never had one problem or hold up. So don't know where you get the roads are pretty bad from? The one thing people do NOT realise is there are no motoways there, The M11 ends at Girton.
The roads are bad because of the poor state of them, not necessarily congestion.
It has changed a lot in the last 5 - 10 years, not sure about Thetford and Bury but the City and nearby towns are becoming a nightmare to get around in, constant roadworks don't help either.

We have an abbatoir where I live and public are allowed to go on site to the shop to buy cheap meat. I've been a couple of times and it stank awful, also if you get there while they are slaughtering, you get the blood running down to the car park 😢😢😢. It's right off putting to be honest... I'm a big animal lover though so it upsets me. Glad you addressed the old DJ Audits issue lol... Anyone who follows your channel would know that you have never posed as Audits lol...
